The experience itself gets 4.5 stars. The front desk attendants get 2 stars. I got the couples package which included private bath, massage, facial and hot stone.
When I checked in, I informed the front desk lady that I didnt have any cash, so that I would like to add a gratuity to my credit card. She said it wasnt a problem and that I could do that at the end. Well, at the end she tells me that she already closed out the cashier, so the tip cant be added. She checked with the down stairs people, and they had already closed out their cashiers as well. It was 2:45, and the place supposedly closes at 3. I was trying to give their staff a tip, and they just wouldnt work with me. They were just ready to get out of there, and clearly didnt care that I wouldnt leave a tip for their masseuses. I left with a sour feeling, because I felt bad not leaving a tip, since the massage was great. They also wouldnt work with me on a coupon I had, since apparently you have to present that at the beginning.
The overall experience was great, and I do recommend this place for a relaxing day, but it’s hard for me to give more than 3 stars to a place where I walked away with a sour feeling.

Would be cool if you fucking advertised you were closed so that people didn’t drive all the way to hot springs and waste their money.

Our experience at Quapaw is just what we needed. The spa is modern and comfortable, with touches of Hot Springs’ historical charm. We had the Sportsman Package and the Jamaica Me Happy package. The soaking bath was inviting and lovely, and the massages were indulgent and some of the best we’ve had. My husband suffers from some serious shoulder tension, and Marcella did her magic on him. What a relief! My facial and Swedish massage by Liz were phenomenal. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

This is historic bathhouse in service. Woohoo. I will try that. Please check it out and experience it.
I has read about this place and it is our planned stop. After a day of walking in the city national park, it is good to come here to relax. They have the thermal pool that you can enjoy for a small fees. They also have package deal include the massage, facial beauty, foot scrub, deep tissue massage, hot stone alignment, private bath, mudslide and many way to relax. I am just for the water and enjoy the thermal pool. To enter the pool, you required a all rubber shoes. If you did not bring one, you can buy a cheap pair there. Towel and water is provided. After an hour of dipping, you will need water since your body loss water.
This is good experience. The hot spring is refreshing and the mineral in the water help rejuvenate. Hopefully last for my entire trip. During the lunch hour is less crowded.

This is a public bath house in hot spring national park. Each customer gets a locker and a towel. There are 3 pool of hot spring, one pool of colder spring. People are free to swift around. Good service, good price, a fun place to visit!

A great place to go and hang out in the water, just remember to bring a brush for afterwards. I have never had a better massage than the massage I got Zach B. Young. He is definitely someone you want to call ahead and reserve.

This place was amazing! We went here the first day of our honeymoon and had a private bath together and a 20 min Swedish massage. IT WAS SO amazing! So amazing that we made an appointment for Wednesday for the «Jamaican me happy» summer package. 3 hrs of services and we were so relaxed and happy. We have already talked about coming back on our anniversary.

My gf and I made reservations for the public bath pools, a 20 minute steam cave session and 50 minute Swedish massage. There are 4 different pools of thermal mineral water at various temperatures between 98 and 104 degrees. Very relaxing. Even took a break at one point and got a sandwich from the café there which was tasty.
Our steam cave session was awesome. The cave’s heat and humidity comes entirely from the natural hot spring that is in there! The hot spring is covered up so it’s not too hot in there but you can still see it through the glass. Very cool experience. The thermometer in there said it was 99 degrees. It was not too hot at all but it still made me sweat A LOT which felt good. Although my gf hardly sweat at all lol.
Then it was time for our Swedish massages… and I just can’t say enough about how good they were. My masseuse was Marcella and my gf’s was Vanessa. Mind you, this was the first professional massage I’ve ever had but it exceeded my expectations. They were very good about making us comfortable and the massage was just incredible. She found a few knots in my neck and shoulders that she really worked out and it felt amazing. My gf said her massage was just as great. Thank you Marcella and Vanessa!
We were here on vacation but I wish I had allowed more time for another massage! Will definitely come back next time we are in Hot Springs!

Amazing massages at this place!
My husband and I got a couples Sweet Cheeks package, which included a 20-​min private bath, a 40-​min massage and foot rub and facial. The bath was nice and relaxing and it felt amazing when I came out! The 20 minutes is actually a long time when you’re sitting in such hot water! After the bath we waited to cool off with fruit infused water and snacks. Then we proceeded to out massage rooms. The rooms were very nice with relaxing dim lighting and calming music playing. The massage was my favorite part! So relaxing I almost fell asleep! :) perfect day! If I’m in town again I will definitely come again! :)

Booked a private soak and massage package for Hubbie and me. From making the reservation to checking in, to the bath room and the massage, every person we dealt with was outstanding! Friendly, professional and accommodating all the way. One of the massage techs even gave us a brilliant recommendation for lunch (Superior Bath & Brewery up the street). The grand old bathhouse has been beautifully restored and we enjoyed every minute we spent there. HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation, even for just a soak, especially on the weekends. Also, here’s my super bonus tip for anyone who reads this whole review: There is free parking in the Free Parking building less than half a block away on Exchange Street, which runs parallel to Central Avenue.

This was an easy 5 star! When I get facials I look for high frequency, massage, extractions, etc the more the better. Performance and professionalism is of the utmost importance as well! Although you have to walk a bit to get to the location since there isn’t a nearby parking, it was worth it. Tammy was my aesthetician. She explained everything, which I like! She knew what she was doing. Very nice! The bed was comfortable. Environment was soothing and relaxing. Products are organic and from Hungary! Everything smelled and felt really good! I would most definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a little pampering every now and then. Ask for Tammy! I’ve never had one like Tammy! Would really recommend this to all my friends and families! I was really impressed! Book in advance since they are always fully booked.

A beautiful environment for a spa treatment. Four pools of different temperatures. I do wish some law hadn’t been passed limiting temperature to 104 – I think I could use my own judgment – but still very nice. The steam cave was awesome. I wasn’t sure I could do it, but the aroma and heat were great. My family all got massages. I drank about a gallon of mineral water.
The procedure and pricing were hard to figure out ahead of time, so we just dived in. All staff very helpful.
I would do it again.

Been coming here at least once a month for the massages. Hands down… yep. the most consistently awesome massages in any single establishment! I had one superb massage and eagerly wanted her again. When I went back to find that that therapist was unavailable I was happily surprised that the second and third therapist was also fantastic.
It is professional and very well maintained.
The private baths are VERY relaxing and also well managed and maintained.
The little snack bar makes AWESOME sandwiches!
All in all, a very nice and professional spa that consistently staffs excellent massage therapists.

WOW!!! We are so glad we booked ahead for the 3 hour spa experience! It was worth the money! Our couples massage was out of this world followed with a pro at mineral bath!!! Everybody was friendly and it felt like we were In a high end spa in a big city!

This is the bathhouse to go to if you’re ever in hot springs! It has a spa-​like feel and you leave feeling refreshed. My husband and I booked too late and were only able to get a couples bath instead of one of their nice packages they offer. We were bummed about that but can definitely see why they fill up so fast. In the time we did have there, the attendant was very polite and made sure we had everything we needed. When our bath was over, she greeted us with some beverages of our choice and offered us some snacks. Don’t miss this place!

My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a couples bath for Valentine’s Day. Since we waited late, all the spa treatments were booked solid and the steam cave was apparently rented out all day to one big group. So, let my mistake be to your benefit — RESERVE EARLY!
$ 50 gets you 20 minutes in a piping hot jacuzzi tub (too hot for my sweet babboo, bless his heart) lightly sprinkled with scented salts. The room the private tubs are in is clean and the floor is dry. A little decoration or lighting would have jazzed the place up, though. The towels were nice and sanitary looking — ours were folded into a swan. Our attendants were attentive when we needed them and completely gone after we didn’t — which is what you want when you’re skinny dipping in a hot tub on Valentine’s Day.
It was over too soon, and they offered us spa water and a seat in the cool-​down room, but it was so nice that we just decided to go out and cool down on Bathhouse Row. All in all, a Valentine’s Day to remember.

Husband and I made our way up to Hot Springs for a much needed vacation from the holidays. Yes! We needed a vacation from our vacation. I think they call them sleep-​cations now. And what better way to end our 5 day sleep-​cation than with a visit to Quapaw.
It was our first visit here and certainly will not be the last. Very clean, calm and relaxing. We made reservations about 2 days before and I’m glad we did as slots fill up quickly.
You’re provided with sandals, bath robe, 2 towels and a key for your locker. The staff updates you on your itinerary for the day and then you’re off to enjoy. And while I’d love to fill you in on every detail of our awesome experience, just know that it’s money well spent. For my husband and I we paid less than $ 180.
So, for anyone holding an active membership to club El Cheapo, this may not be for you.
Loved everything, but be prepared to «glisten» your butt off in the steam cave, 110 degrees at 80% humidity. Definitely not for anyone with a heart condition (and they actually ask if you have a heart condition).
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because I could hear construction going on outside on the street during my Swedish. Not their fault though. Just caught them on an off day. Still can’t wait to come back and get the hot stone treatment!
P. S. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suite unless you’re taking a private bath (clothing optional).

I am so glad I chose Quapaw, to mark off «bath in Hot Springs» from my bucket list. I’ve always wanted a private bath in Hot Springs. …I know, I can have one at the Elms, here, but I wanted one in Hot Springs.
If you can stand finding a place to park, and blind yourself to the city of Hot Springs with run down buildings and crime ridden neighborhoods, take time to enjoy a private bath in Hot Springs at Quapaw. The staff in Quapaw spoil you and pamper your every need.
I entered it, and was given a locker key and robe. I changed down to my swimsuit, wrapping the warm robe around me, and was lead by a staff to the private bath. You get a choice of 6 therapeutic bath salts. I chose muscle soak.
The bath runs for 20 wonderful minutes. I had my mom with me, who apparently had a little trouble getting into and out of her bath, and the staff were helpful. Then we put on our robes and were lead to the steam cave where we sweat in the cave for 20 minutes.
The pictures on Quapaw’s website doesn’t do the cave justice. It’s very private, and a wonderful addition to your bath experience.
Quapaw also has public pools, and happens to be open Sunday. If it weren’t in Hot Springs, I’d be back, or I may go back when I do a crystal dig. It’s a wonderful experience and I loved it. Afterwards, we walked to the public spigets and filled up a pitcher of Hot Springs water. While I don’t care for Hot Springs (read the crime statistics), I loved the bath house. If I lived there, I’d have a membership and go there once a week.

I hate to give this establishment only 4 stars, but since I bought a combo package, I must rate & review the entire experience.
I scheduled a couples Rose C package for mine & my husband’s 11^th wedding anniversary. It came with a 20 minute private bath, a facial, a footscrub, and a swedish massage.
We started off with the private bath, which was marginal – at best. The attendant was pleasant, but this is where it stops. The water was 98 degrees – which for a hot tub, that’s pretty lukewarm. She asked us to call her if we needed the water adjusted to decrease the chance of us burning ourselves with the 143 degree water. Uhm. I’m about to get into a private hot tub… nude! Do you seriously think I am going to ring a bell so that you can come and make this water hotter – highly unlikely. The jets were rather mild and there were no bubbles at all & we couldn’t adjust the pressure of them. I think I was just expecting a bit too much. I would give this part of my experience 3 stars.
The rest of mine and my husband’s experience at this spa exceeded my expectations! It is very difficult to find an awesome massage therapist, especially after using the same one for several years in our hometown. However, Rachel and Gail were spot on with their technique and pressure. I would highly recommend either of these 2 ladies if you like firm pressure. (Even though we paid for a Swedish, I felt as though we got a little bit of deep tissue with it – which we LOVE!) We filled out a questionnaire before going in and they used products for our facial that fit our individual skin types.
The foot scrub was amazing, especially if you like to have your feet massaged. Rachel used several layers of hot, wet towels on each foot and had them feeling 100% better after a 9-​day hike the previous day.
Rachel was very personable and made me feel as though we had known each other for months, which was great. I like it when people treat you like an individual, instead of just another client.
If I had just went in for a massage without the bath, I would have rated this place 5 stars – easily!

We were in hot springs for our one year wedding anniversary, and my wife’s one request to get a bath at an original bath house.
Now it was between this and buckstaff and we are so glad we chose Quapaw, buckstaff is more original and you wait in line like in the classic days.
At Quapaw they are so friendly and attentive we chose the couples bath with detox and it was a heavenly unbelievable experience.
The attendant was great.
Make sure and drink your water and when we go back we will do the full spa service, also be sure and bring your swim suit to hangout in the private publics baths they have behind the class.
