I’ve been going to Umar for probably eight years now. He first did my hair when he was at Thairapy, and when I heard he had started his own salon, I followed him there.
I’ve always enjoyed going to Umar for my hair because he loves to take style risks and be adventurous. I can come in with a really vague idea – or no ideas – and he will figure out a style that gets what I’m going for. He styled my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I was very happy with both. I’ve tried some of his cosmetics line as well – I like the foundation and «blue oil» in particular. Umar always makes interesting conversation while he takes care of you, but isn’t over the top. Prices are reasonable and he often has specials.
I always recommend Umar to my friends, especially if they are in a slump. He will get you to try something new that still feels natural.

Umar is really nice and very friendly! I went for my keratin treatment (a groupon) and umar made the process really fun talking to me, customer service was a 5 stars but my keratin treatment didn’t last even a week!!! My ends are burn and this never happened with the other keratin treatments that I have done! I feel like I just throw 125 bucks in the trash can!
