I ordered the grilled chicken salad with arugula salad and dijon vinaigrette. They placed a slice of lemon on n the apse so I could see it over my salad. It really got the salad tasting better. The grilled chicken is pounded flat. In addition, I ordered a cup of crab bisque. Make sure u take your spoon all the way to the bottom because there are some chunky pieces of crab down there!

Very quiet on the weekdays I love it! We sat near the view, and the lobster bisque is good start, I would recommend it and it doesn’t taste too«seafoody» the food is decent, price is good, and I would go back again.

We eat here monthly. It’s family friendly and the food and service are consistently good. There are both healthy and more indulgent options available to please any palette. However, ever since they changed names to Bazilles, the portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. The kids meal used to come with raisins and fruit. The raisins are no longer there and the fruit portion shrinks a little more with each visit. They added a burger to the menu which is a plus. For a restaurant with a high chair at almost every table, they should know better. Maybe they’re just trying to squeeze the shopping mamas out and appeal to a different clientele! Waiters are always great while the hosts are not so on top of it. Decent place to eat while shopping that is not fast food.

I was at the galleria the other day and decided to stop in for a small appetizer. I ended up ordering the mushroom flatbread which was very good! My two star rating is based on the layout of the restaurant. When I go to a restaurant, I want to dine in a relaxed state where I can order my food and then have it delivered to me promptly. With this restaurant, the kitchen is right in front of you and if you happen to get a table close enough, you are smack dab in the middle of all the back end drama. I happened to be one of those tables and I could not relax! The amount of hustle and bustle, dropped plates, wrong orders, slow waiters, etc… made it impossible to zone out and enjoy my meal. By the end of my dining, I felt like I was part of Hells Kitchen. For that reason alone, I will not dine here again.

My mom once threw me a birthday party here! She invited my 8 closest girlfriends along with my aunts and grandmother, and we got pampered at Nordstrom before having lunch at the Bistro. The lunch was excellent. The service was great too, and the menu they selected for my guests was incredible! Thing is, the service iSn’t that great when you are just going by yourself on a regular day. In fact, the food is also hit or miss. I have had to send back a particularly salty batch of tomato basil soup, and a cold crab Mac and cheese, as well as an overly toasted flat bread. By overly toasted I clearly mean burned. Other times, I have enjoyed every aspect of my meal, and I have even been given to go coffee or iced tea without even asking… So I can continue shopping at Nordstrom(which coincidentally has the best customer service of any of the higher end department stores). So N Bistro needs to get it together. I want to go more often, but Mariposa down at Neiman’s never disappoints.

Just perfect, everything’s fresh and delicious, and the service staff is especially kind and attentive. The crab stack is always a winner, and if make it there on a Sunday, order the Chicken Fideio soup(soup of the day) and ask for Tabasco, it’s delicious!

First off, when you get there turn 180 degrees and walk for five minutes till you get to The Daily Grill and just eat there. The food and service are soo much better and the prices are comparable. Two months ago a friend and I came here for lunch, I ordered the burger and he ordered the steak… After waiting 50 mins for our food to arrived, My burger had soggy buns, my friends steak was completely over cooked and the fries were soggy… We decided that we were not going to wait another 50 minutes for our food to be redone so we decided to leave, not before talking to the manager… The manager was rude, obnoxious and really didn’t care. 6 months later we decided to give this place another shot with hopes that things have improved, unfortunately they did not. We ordered the crab stack which barely had any crab and looked & tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. For a main course we asked for two club sandwiches WITHNOBACON. Our sandwiches arrive and guess what, there was bacon in them, so we kindly asked the waiter to take them back and have them be remade. Not two minutes later the waiter comes back with sandwiches and tells us, and I quote, «Two brand new sandwiches». I take a bite into my sandwich(which didn’t taste exceptionally good) and what do I see, a piece of bacon left over from the piece they took out. So we decide to cancel our order and leave. At least the manager we talked to this time was apologetic and comped our«crab stack». Long story short, don’t come here and go somewhere else.

I work close by so this café is convenient for lunch and although the prices aren’t low, they are not unreasonable. It is located on the 3rd floor of Nordstrom’s and tucked away behind the Juniors and Intimate Apparel sections. I understand that there have been several management changes in recent years so the name of the café seems to change every now and then. Even so the look stays the same and with the exception of a few items, so does the menu. Service can be slow during peak and slow times so know that this is not a quick in/out stop. It is rare that I see anyone really hustling during non-peak hours.

Apparently this place has been around for many years. I really wish I would have known this instead of eating in the food court whenever I stop by The Galleria to shop. This restaurant is a hidden gem located inside of Nordstrom. I’ve only been here twice and I was satisfied during both of my visits. There’s never a wait whenever I come here which is a huge plus for me. I ordered the Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad both times that I came here. I give it a 5⁄5 rating for the taste and a 3⁄5 rating for the price. It is really pricey for a salad. My boyfriend thinks $ 9 for a small salad at Salata is expensive already. Anyway, the salad is definitely worth a try! My boyfriend ordered the Proscuitto and Arugula pizza. He was not a huge fan of it at all. He stated that there wasn’t enough proscuitto meat and the pizza was endoused in pesto sauce. He will try something different next time. We had to flag down our waiter to bring us the bread and he never came to our table to check up on us. Other than that, the service is great and I never have any complaints. This will be my go-to place whenever I get hungry while shopping or if I’m ever in the area.

Love coming here for a girls lunch or early dinner. The menu is pretty straightforward and small. I love the crab tower and asian chicken salad. If you’re a french fry and condiment type of person… kalamata olive dip with herb french fries. I promise myself to only order them occasionally since its literally so delish/not good for you. I sometimes ask for the dip with the hot bread that comes out at the beginning so I don’t order it with fries later. Yes I’m pathetic, I know. Recommend everything!

I am such a fan of this place. Their tomato bisque soup is excellent and their shrimp lemon-cilantro vinagrette salad is also amazing. Place is very nice, service is good and the prices are not bad. It is also quite handy that this places is inside Nordstrom for when there is a wait you can go browse and entertain yourself. Last time I ended up buying a bathing suit right before eating… not the best time right? Their onion soup is super strong tasting. I absolutely love this but if you don’t like the strong flavors do not get this! Had a funny experience with a friend once. Like that this place is nice but not pretentious. Will I go back? Yes, a lot!

Nordies Bistro in Houston is a indeed a bistro and not a café. Since I’m a fan of the café’s in many of the stores I had no idea a Bistro existed. No trays, no lines, no grouchy guys behind the counter taking orders. Here, you are treated like a human being… properly seated with white linens and a sour dough bread basket; followed by a fabulous waiter who comes over and offers you the wine menu. That’s how you start lunch in Houston. We stopped in for a quick bite after a long day of shopping and indulged in a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a savory appetizer. The wine was perfection for just $ 8. Crisp and fruity, light and refreshing. A three-tiered jar of yumminess was brought out with some crostinis. Creamy ricotta cheese, herb pesto, olive oil and tomato sweet jam all swirled together to pat on your toast and then… mmmmm closed your eyes and take a bite! All for just $ 7.95 Shockingly you won’t find the famous tomato soup here. They offer a soup du jour for $ 3.95(what a bargain) so Mr. G had a cup of the creamy corn chowder-and yes it was delicious. I ordered a cup of the Crab Bisque-full of flavor and the perfect starter. We shared a fresh berry and fig salad sprinkled with goat cheese and almonds for $ 12.95. You can’t go wrong with any of these choices. Overall, elegant, quick and affordable. This will be a regular stop. I do recommend you come in and enjoy.

I am a huge Nordstroms fan and love to shop and then get a bite in the café. This particular café experience was sort of lousy. We tried two salads. The shrimp salad and the goat cheese fig salad: both salads were well designed and the flavors were good. Mine, however, had gnats or something. Not kidding! I repeatedly saw little black bugs flying around my salad and realized they were actually emerging from my salad. End of meal. Stop eating when you find insects! Service was slow, they were out of many items, the café was dark, and the staff had that untrained, unprofessional inattentive attitude, but they were not unfriendly. The sourdough bread and butter was delicious! That was my dinner that night…

The 3 stars is only for the food. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought I walked into Denny’s or IHOP. The place was quiet and there was a few people inside. When we arrived the hostess was standoff-ish, didn’t bother to ask if we prefer a table or a booth. She showed us the table, but we opt out for booth instead. In front of the booth, there were fries laying on the ground and the wall near us has crayon all over it. Definitely a bistro right. Waiter was rude and did not want to have the time for us. He never came back to refill water, only my friend’s tea. I ordered the steak and my friend had the mac and cheese which is pretty decent. The steak was cooked well. I prefer my steak to be cooked medium rare and it was good. It was served with argula tossed with balsemic vingerette and fries. I could have been good with out the fries because that portion was massive and my friends and I couldn’t finish it. The kalamata olive aioli was a bit too sour for the fries so I didn’t touched that and the herb butter that topped the steak was perfect. No fridge burn taste. My friend’s mac and cheese was decent. I could taste the sharp cheddar they use and it went well with the flavoring. This is dish is definitely mediocre and and you can live without it because Del Frisco’s offer a lobster mac and cheese and it’s drool-worthy. Bottom line: Don’t come in here expecting the service. Food is decent, but there are better choices in the surrounding area.

Great restaurant choice when wanting to dine at the Galleria. The only other better option in my opinion is Del Fresco’s. The dishes might be a little rich, but they are very flavorful. I like the artwork and feel of this restaurant.

I tend to avoid coming to the Galleria cause of the further drive and crowds, but now I have an extra incentive to make the hike up here because I know there will be some good food involved. I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was a 30 minute wait. This was no problem since their buzzer works throughout Nordstrom so you are free to wander and shop to work up your appetite as you wait for your table. They start you off with sourdough bread and butter that is perfectly warm and doughy. I was a bit irked that 2 out of the 3 items I had my eyes set on ordering was sold out(all the pizzas and a majority of the sandwiches), so I settled with the Fig & Goat Cheese Arugula Salad, French Onion Soup, and BLT Sandwich. In the end, I was so delighted with my choices. The vanilla bean vinaigrette on the salad added a warm, sweet fragrance that I wish I could recreate on my own. The French Onion Soup was so good that we ended up adding a second order. You could definitely taste the quality of ingredients through each bite and how well thought out the combinations were. You bet I’ll be coming back for that pizza next time!

I popped by Nordstrom Bistro while I was in Houston, and I was pleased not only with the quality of my meal, but also with the service. I ordered an oven-fired pizza sans cheese, and it was still hearty and delicious! If I“m in the area again, I won’t hesitate to stop by. It’s conveniently located and offers great quality for the price!
