Boom! Chicken n’ Waffles

Nope… Nope…and Hell Noooooo… this ladye behind here is like she on drugs… the chicken was butte and cold… and it’s some dude walking around grqbing his penis and balls… my total was 32.47…okay fine I gave 25 $ cash… n my debit card… for the remaining balance she swipe my card knowing she wasn’t doing what I asked and then took off in the back to call the manager… who told her to come back tomorrow… I didn’t give you my money tomorrow I gave it to u today… needless to say she swear she couldn’t give me a refund… on my debit card okay five give me cash… but last give me my money

So so good! Fresh, clean, super yummy. I have three teenagers and a husband that eats like one. There was more than enough food and priced well too!

Amazing waffle. Like the tenders better because they were easier to eat, but the chicken wings were great also.

Boom Chicken & Waffles is clean, smells good when you first walk in and excellent customer service! This is my second time coming to this restaurant and I love it! The fried chicken and waffles are delicious with high quality consistency. The first time I came here I was a bit nervous and shy while taking a good look at the business. When I first arrived here I ordered 2 Pc Chicken Wing and Waffles with a drink. The 2 PC meal came with a drum stick and thigh.
The portions of the chicken are big and hearty pieces of meat that is cooked fresh when ordered. The mini waffles are excellent, well done, not overcooked or under cooked. They provide fresh maple syrup, dipping sauces, and drink machine with multiple flavored of soda.
If you are want some hot & fresh well seasoned chicken wings and waffles go to Boom! I recommend this location for family, friends and gatherings. Believe it or not they also offer delivery /​catering as well too!

We had a great visit today! The chicken was so juicy and the seasoning was delicious. Great waffles too! The meal was ready quickly and the employees were very nice. All around a great experience.

Good customer service, i was the only person there, food is not all that great $ 8 half a waffle and three strips… im so not impressed… reading the other reviews… im wondering are these fake accounts? or did i go at the wrong time? chicken wasnt seasoned into the meat only the skin…

This place was absolutely amazing.
Friendly staff, friendly customers, clean and comfortable atmosphere. To top it off, the food was AMAZING. Ordered and paid for two tenders and waffles, but got four HUGE tenders. The chipotle gravy was on point, waffles the right combination of crispy, fluffy, buttery, and light. The whole experience was great!

Visiting Houston for the weekend and we were kind of paralyzed with choice for what to eat for brunch, so I started randomly scrolling through Unilocal reviews and had to stop myself. Chicken and waffles is a gimmick, sure, but… I sat down and ate my first bite of waffle. Fluffy, crisp edges, and nice and thick. First impression: more. Dipped it in syrup, then tried the bayou gravy shot right after. Great balance of sweet/​salty/​smoky. The strips were juicy with a nice thick breading that was very well-​seasoned. Food came out quick, with friendly staff and friendly patrons! We were greeted and engaged in conversation by two random strangers inside, and that made me feel at home and comfy. All in all, fantastic. Great music, too.

YUM! Super delicious, juicy chicken and yummy & unique gravy options. The waffles are the perfect size for dipping into syrup. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff is great. The prices are good for the value!

This place is pretty yummy for lunch. I really enjoyed the waffles, they were delicious. The price was great as well, because I got pretty full!
The employees were nice and friendly. We joked around with them. It was cute.

Huge juicy chicken wings! Could use a lil more seasoning though but still good.
They use the same waffle mix that hotels normally serve for breakfast, golden malted. Regular size waffle was crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Fun size waffles were crispy on the outside but kinda dense or not cooked long enough inside.

Food was disgusting and the service was as well. The chicken tenders were actually bigger than the fun-​size waffles they serve.

Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I got a great bang for my buck with the three piece tenders and waffles. The chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly. Both were fresh and hot. If you’re in the area looking for a quick place to eat lunch, I would highly recommend this place.

This place has some good food. the chicken was seasoned well and was juicy and hot. the waffle was good as hell. i tell them to leave them waffles on a lil longer, so I could get it crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. the 2 piece with 2 waffles was 7.25 and filled me up. they also have about 6 or 7 dipping sauces to choose from. The chicken was so damn good that I hardly even used the Chipotle ranch sauce that I ordered with it. i think I’m gonna try that bowl today and let my wife order the meal that made me come back the second time. The first thing I check for when going to a food spot is how clean it looks. the place was clean so I gave them a try and it was worth it. The menu is short and simple not a whole lot of options.

Resie’s was way better. Chicken wasn’t as flavorful, Waffles were small, sides were ok. I’m going to give them the benefit of a doubt, because they just barely opened that maybe it’ll get better.

I will admit, this is my very first time trying the famous dish of «Chicken N’ Waffles». I was thrilled that near work there would be an establishment opened and today was the day!
Walked in there and found out that they had only been opened for 4 days which I felt quite honored to be one of the first few guests I guess but seemed to me based on the long line that they have recently become a hit in Greenspoint!
My cashier was Alexandra, she was nice and kind, suggested the chipotle gravy for my chicken strip and waffle meal, additionally, based on my knowledge of chicken and waffle joints I should always have room for more and added an additional side of mac n cheese with my chicken n waffles. I did take it to-​go (not by choice).
The food is made fresh to order. It did take awhile to cook but I was in no hurry since I wanted them to cook their best for moi. While I waited the entire staff was pleasantly nice which I do appreciate the PMA or positive mental attitude because it just makes it that much nicer to come in and eat.
So as the minutes went by for my strips and waffles to be ready I looked around and was a bit conflicted by the décor that consisted of old records of 80’s and early 90’s artists but The music was that cherry on top of the ice cream. The music matched the records «in the tables» so after that I got a better understanding of what they are going for I just don’t think it matches the establishment but hey I am only here for the food.
I went back to thy office and I was excited for my «First time» chicken n waffles and boy was it a trip! I didn’t know what to eat first, what to dip in what, but I managed to figure out as I had my side of mac n cheese which by the way it took me back to my childhood, remembering how much I loved mac n cheese. The chicken strips were so nicely battered and seasoned. Lord have mercy where those strips delish! The strips were a mix of Raisin’ Canes made a baby with Chick Fil a in Louisiana. And the waffles just added the sweetness to my meal.
Ultimately, the price, ambience, and taste of foos have my self of approval. I have officially declared a new spot to eat lunch from now on!
