is blah ok. The chicken sandwich, isn’t chicken. It is meat byproducts that consist mainly of pork, but does have chicken in it. It tastes like a vienna sausage hot dog, but looks like chicken. ewwww

As soon as I walk in the place smells like B/O. No greeting and no one at the front counter to take my order. The food was good; however it took the. 10 min to get my order. They seem very understaffed and some of the employees have their shirt tucked In and some don’t. The ice cream had a funky after taste which prob means that they are not cleaning their machines daily. I will not be back here!

My 2nd visit here and my last one. How can you enjoy your food and ice cream in a hot muggy restaurant no air conditioning.

Food seems good. Just another fast food restaurant. I haven’t been here for ages but I like it yummy.

Horrible for a Dairy Queen! I only go here occasionally because it’s so close and it’s an ice cream place with a drive thru. I am always so disappointed when I go though. I worked at a Dairy Queen for several years and was a shift manager as a teen too so I know it’s not that. Difficult to make good food. There is a set way to make things since it is a franchise. All you have to do is follow the«recipe» and it will at least be decent. For example my husband and I each got blizzards the other night and by the end there were no «toppings» at all; just ice cream. Their food is usually not good either and you can tell it has been sitting in the heat lamps for a long time.

Ok, so I have a serious DQ problem… I am from a small town where DQ was the big and only thing in town; when I moved to Houston, I honestly didn’t find that anything fast-food wise compared. Of course when I lived over here years and years ago, I would come over here and get my usual(burger and fries with a side of cream gravy). I am super pleased that this location is still open because the night my friends and I decided to pre-move boxes over to my new place before the official move, I brought the guys here & bought them dinner. The dining room was empty because it was late(I think we made it before they closed), and the young man was very gracious in taking our orders and bringing it out to us without rushing us out or anything. The burgers are still very juicy and made perfectly to order, the fries have a perfect crispness with tender insides… man, and you just can NOT have their fries without their delicious, thick cream gravy with that peppery bite. One of my friends ordered the tacos, and they were so big, full and crispy. Their steak fingers are so incredibly good, as good as I remembered them to be; nice and crispy on the outside and meaty and juicy on the inside. I seriously can’t finish the 4 pc basket which comes with lots of fries, toast and a side of cream gravy; the chicken tender basket is identical. The Dude(chicken fried steak sandwich) is also killer; perfect for when you don’t want a regular burger. Ice cream? Ok, forget it, it is always rocking because it is soft-serve, but I am very good about steering clear from it, lol You also can’t beat the price; I spent less than $ 20 for all three of us(and that included 2 guys!). The other thing about them is that drive-thru service is also quick and everyone is always pleasant & courteous.

Fast food chains are a dime a dozen. This place got renovated recently, and being the first time for me here I can say the food was served in the drive thru fairly quickly and the thee hunger busters were hot. What I mean is they are the temperature you expect from a fast food joint. I used to be very skeptical of Dairy Queen but this was a good experience. The kids got the Reese’s pieces blizzard and really liked it. The drive thru customer service was good and I will be happy to bring the kids back for some more desserts. Does anyone know if the chili or frank they use is 100% beef? I’m curious and just want to see if anyone knows. I think they have a wide selection of menu items but ultimately I feel like they are a great place for ice cream and frozen treats.

Went today with the kids for a late night sweet treats we were craving blizzards and all 4 of our Blizzards were more like milkshakes! If their machine isn’t properly working then they shouldn’t of sold us the DQ signature sweet treat that you can hold upside down, If we would of attempted to do that we would of had blizzard all over us! Super disappointed! Whomp whomp whomp

What a fun Dairy Queen. Friendly clean and brand new! The blizzards are perfect-the sign of a great DQ. Loved the hot dog and fries! I recommend you make a stop here. You won’t be disappointed

My blizzard was great. I ordered the monthly special, I believe it was Reese’s pieces pie or something along those lines. It was great untill I got 4 bites into the $ 3.95 medium and it turned from what I paid for to straight vanilla ice cream. I havnt been to «DQ» in quite sometime, close to 20 years in fact… and to be honest– i don’t think I’ll go back for another 20. Yeah– it was good– but only cuz it was ice cream– which in my ketogenic lifestyle I treat myself to maybe once every 6 months. It’s official. The DQ I went to Texas blows.

Why Why did we have to move our offices down the street from DQ? I haven’t eaten this much ice cream in 8 years, I now go to DQ at once a week. I really have to see if there is a DQ rehab meeting during lunch. My favorite is the Popcorn Chicken… yes this would be great if mixed with a salad or something greens, but I prefer mines with a small blizzard. Life here is good, it’s summer, summer time… UPDATE7÷9÷2014 Well because of Earl A. another Unilocal reviewer I had to go and try their salad — crispy chicken, bacon bits ! Yes yes yes

Dairy queen is walking distance from my job so it a place a may go when I don’t want to drive. They have the variety of foods such as burgers, salads, taco etc and also blizzards and smoothies. I usually get a grilled chicken salad, it also has chicken in every bite. They just did a remodel to freshen the place up.

The strawberry milkshake is the bomb. I crave it all the time and will only go here to get it! It’s not too thick of a shake, which I love. The food is ok too. Not bad but not the best fast food ever. Definitely all about the desserts!

…and on the 8th day, the Lord said, thine bounty shall be the chilled milk of the beasts of the land, coated with the liquid syrup of the cocoa bean. And Adam, being of obedient and humble mind, asked the Lord if crushed Oreo biscuits could be a substitute. And the Lord said«This is good, for I am thine Lord and Creator», and thus Adam obeyed. Thus was the creation of the Dipped Cone and Blizzard. My cup overfloweth. Amen.

If you work in the energy corridor this is definitely a place for you to stop and get a quick lunch. The burgers are great, and the employees are nice. It is never crowded and you can get in and out very quickly. Try the Jalitos Ranch burger. It is definitely the best burger on the menu!
