GolfTEC Upper Kirby

I started coming to GolfTEC Upper Kirby about 2 years ago and can’t recommend it enough. All of the guys are not only knowledgeable about the game, but great people as well. I’ve been taking from Doug Strawbridge. When we started, I was about a 10 handicap. Since, I’ve gone on to break par for the first time and have lowered my handicap down to a 3. Being able to see my swing on video instantly as well as the different numbers captured by their monitors has really helped my understanding of the golf swing. If you want to get better, this is the place to go.

I’d never broken 100 before taking lessons with Ryan Thorpe at this GolfTec location. After taking 6 lessons, I shot an 86 and couldn’t believe how much my game had improved in such a short time. Highly recommended — wish I had done this years ago.

Zoran is the best! I had never played golf before signing up and he was very patient and encouraging. Having the ability to watch your swings with an instructor who can point out what you did wrong or what you should work on really helps improve your overall game. Golftec also records every lesson and posts it to your account online so you have the ability to go back and review what you learned and the techniques your instructor showed you. This is extremely beneficial even after your lessons are up.
I bought my clubs from Golftec and had the fitted and couldn’t be happier. Zoran went through all of the options and helped me pick the best set for my price range. I never felt like he was pushing the most expensive things on me. He truly was trying to make sure I was happy with the clubs i purchased. Once my clubs came in I received a free custom fitting and Zoran even re-​gripped them for me!
If you’re really trying to improve your game or trying to learn the basics, Golftec is the best place to start!
