Terrific place! Both my girls got 6″ pizzas, which filled them up nicely. I got the 10″ pizza mostly with veggies — TONS of veggies, to be honest — all fresh and delicious and no additional charge. The only downside is they don’t offer gluten-free crust, but they do have salads with the same toppings — both side and big size(side size was enough to fill my wife). We also got the garlic stix — very good. Terrific service. Strongly recommend!

My husband and I made our first trip to Hot Toppings tonight. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The counter staff were professional and very helpful. Our pizza was out in minutes. The pizza had a thin cracker like crust that was perfectly crisp and delicious. It had just the right amount of ingredients. I especially like the concept of making a custom made pizza for one low price. Excellent customer service and the manager made sure to come by our table to check on us. We will definitely be going back to Hot Toppings and will spread the word about our great experience there.

This place gets 5 stars hands down. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by all of the employees. It is not just a bland little greeting. They greet you with a smile and spark conversation. I first came here with my daughter and my nephew. They absolutely had a great time. The customer service here is excellent. Now on to the food. It is basically in the style of your regular Subway shop, but pizza. The toppings were fresh and there are so many to choose from. The price for the pizza is the same whether you get one topping or all of them. The only one that is not available like this is Combo #1. You are only allowed two toppings for $ 12.50. It includes a 10 inch pizza, salad, and a drink. Combo #2 includes a 6 inch pizza with unlimited toppings, a salad, and a drink as well. You do not have to get the combos. You can just order your pizza with the unlimited toppings. Once your pizza is made, to the oven it goes. It doesn’t take long at all. I don’t think it was 5 minutes to cook. I enjoyed my pizza with the Alfredo sauce, roasted garlic, chicken, spinach leaves, mushrooms, bacon, and black olives. It was a winner for me. The roasted garlic added a nice finish to the sauce. I am glad they offer other sauces, because I am not a fan of tomato sauce on my pizza. Now on the the actual setup. The walls are set up to where the customer can write their name or a message. It is actually pretty neat. It doesn’t make the place look tacky at all. The kids enjoyed that. They ran around the place looking for the perfect spot to write their name. So, this place is a winner with me and the kiddos. My daughter has even asked me if this could be one of our hang out spots each month. I actually came back two days later with a friend. Plus, if you come back with two days, you do get 50% off of your next pizza of equal or lesser value.

I visited Hot Toppings Pizza tonight for date night. I scored a Groupon for free so dinner for two was only $ 1. When we arrived, there was only one family there. The employees here are very nice and inviting. The mister and I each had an employee explain to us the setup. They were extremely generous with the toppings, although the you can always ask for more if needed. We got our drinks and by the time we sat down, our pizzas were ready. I love that someone delivered them to our table for us. I’m guessing that’s not the norm though since you provide your name. I ordered the 10 inch pizza, which was a mistake. I was thinking the smaller pizza is for kids, but it really depends on your appetite. I only ate two slices of the 10 inch. When I went to the counter to ask for a box, an employee asked if everything was okay. Yep, it’s good-just a lot of food for me. The ambience was great. The food was great. The employees were great. This place deserves no less than 5 stars. I can’t wait to visit again with the kids.

There’s just so much to pick from when it comes to toppings on a pizza and they have it all for the most part, not only is there food good but there staff is great too. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. By the way on Tuesdays they have this special where you get a pizza and a draft home brew for $ 10. What’s not to love

I feel at home. Great hospitality, genuine. The pizza was good! Your able to add all the toppings you want and it cooks quick. I like craft beers so I like their Tuesday special, it’s a 10in Pizza and a pint for $ 10 plus tax!

Sweety pie(mozzarella, Parmesan, caramelized onion, red onion, tiny halved tomatoes, and Italian sausage) and garlic sticks were incredible! Craft beer, wine and salads were a big bonus. The people were incredible and gracious. And the pizza literally took less than 5 minutes. I want more! The dining area is very chill, and you can write on the wall. And– it’s so affordable. You can get a tiny pizza(6″) or a 12″, any way you want it, for 5 – 8 $. Seriously. I love this place!

Hot Toppings is one of those Subway-style pizza concepts that have been sprouting up everywhere as of late i.e. MOD Pizza of Blaze Pizza. The concept is simple: customization to the max. Choose your size(7″ or 10″), sauce, meats, veggies, and additional toppings to your heart’s content. You pay the same price whether you choose 3 toppings or 15 toppings. Your creation is then cooked in 3 minutes so it comes out quick. I went to the max by going with a 10″ inch with marinara sauce and some pesto sauce sprinkled on, basil, cilantro, chives, bacon, ham, pulled chicken, pepperoni, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, corn, and feta cheese. You can make a combo out of your meal by adding either garlic stix or cinnamon stix. We went with the garlic stix. Here’s what I like and don’t like. The pizza was pretty good and you get a nice bang for your buck. They also have a great deal on Tuesday’s for 4 – 7PM where you can get a pizza and a pint for $ 10. The interior is casual and they had one large TV in the corner showing the French Open. Service was friendly with the owner asking how our meal was and making small talk as we were ordering our pizzas. Located on Westheimer in the Galleria area, Hot Toppings is in the same shopping center as a Starbucks. On the downside, it’s peculiar that a combo doesn’t include a drink. You have to buy your drink separately. I get it for beer but why can’t a combo include a soft drink as is standard pretty much everywhere. Instead of a wood-fire grill like MOD Pizza, Hot Toppings has one of those small conveyer belt ovens like they have at Quizno’s. Does it make much of a difference when it comes to taste? I don’t know but definitely not as visually appealing. The wood-fire grill gives you a bit of a charred taste(neapolitan style) that these type of ovens won’t give you.

When I heard that Hot Toppings was fast casual, I must say it wasn’t the buzz word I was looking for. I am not in tune with family dining. When I say«Family Style», I mean a group of friends and foodies sharing different dishes while we enjoy craft beer, cocktails and wine. Ha! So, fast casual restaurants aren’t exactly what I am looking for. I dine for the experience and entertainment, hoping that the night will never end. I am looking for a cool pizza joint, with creativity in every slice. A place where I can get a craft beer or a glass of wine and catch up with friends and family. My biggest concern with the format was how the pizza might take a hit for speed. Thanks to the Foodie Groups, my eyes are now open and I have seen the proverbial light! I better understand the challenges families with young children face when dining out. Don’t get it twisted… I just said I better understand; I don’t claim to know. Ha! From my understanding, there are a number of factors families must think about: budget, time, attention span and pleasing picky eaters. Well, let’s just say that Hot Toppings puts all of your worries to bed. At Hot Toppings, the options to design your own pie were unlimited. Everyone gets exactly what they want — no compromises needed — at very affordable prices. When you walk through the door, the first thing you notice is a beautiful Houston mural with the words: «Simple, human… fun! Be Someone». I couldn’t have written it better myself. These words truly define the experience here at Hot Toppings. You simply walk up to the counter, pick your size, crust, sauce, cheese, meat and toppings. You get the pleasure of watching them build your masterpiece and cook it right in front of you. Approximately 3 minutes later… you are enjoying a hot personal pizza you designed! Is that something you would be interested in? We ordered some Garlic Stix to see what they were all about. Well, they were all about garlic, oregano, butter, cheese… and the same crust used to make the pizzas. We loved it and it’s great for groups. We ordered 4 pies to go-round. They were perfect, and we named them too! This is great — little Jimmy can have his own pizza named after himself. Or, in this case, little Puckett. Puckett’s Pie was meticulously designed with the flavors that most come to mind when I think of pizza: olive oil, mozzarella /provolone blend, Parmesan, pepperoni, chorizo, garlic, mushrooms, red pepper and jalapenos. Not only was this cheesy pizza spicy, but the olive oil substitute allowed the flavor or the meats to become more pronounced. If you LOVE flavor, then try this pie! Hunt’s Pie was built with the carnivore in mind. This rich and hearty pizza was hand-crafted with marinara, mozzarella, bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, garlic and jalapenos. I have to say, this pie was good. Really good! This is the type of slice that goes great with salad. The meat and marinara mix can be really rich — so a bite of salad allows your palate to simmer down a bit before the next rich and cheesy bite! Next up was the Classic Margherita served with marinara sauce: a simple pie with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. I first started eating this style on the reg when I moved to Southern California. Light and flavorful, it’s just the perfect slice on your way to the beach or, in this case, back to the office. Ha! Now, for the surprise of the day! I asked one of the owners, Dave, which Hot Toppings pizza was the most unusually great! He didn’t hesitate and started naming off toppings. Let’s call it Dave’s Choice. At first, this incredible pizza had me perplexed. But the flavor compatibility of these unique toppings is quite intriguing. Dave’s Choice was constructed with a BBQ sauce base, mozzarella /provolone blend, pulled chicken, cranberries and walnuts then drizzled with honey mustard. You must try this combo — it’s really something special. I never would have thought to drizzle honey mustard on pizza. But when you think about it, people dip it in ranch. So, why not? This sweet and savory slice profoundly promotes what Hot Toppings is all about! Searching out your own culinary creativity and casually consulting every taste bud along the way. And at the same time, little Jimmy can have his own personal cheese pizza. We are ALL happy! Hot Toppings is the perfect place for everyone… literally everyone. That is the beauty of it all . The mural reads«Simple, human… fun! Be Someone». Well, simply put, if you are human and enjoy a fun dining experience then«Be Someone». Be someone who walks through those doors. Be someone who is back to work on time without compromising a great lunch. Be someone that provides a great experience for every age group in your family. Be someone who supports a local business. Be someone… be you!

I love it here! Of all the make-it-yourself pizza places, I think HT got it right. The 10 inch is a mouthful. I mean, it just melts in my mouth. I mean, it is perfectly warm and hits the spot. Oh man, I just can’t seem to wrap my hands around the thick and flavorful sauce that oozes from it. Ok, enough of the dirty talk, let me get down and well… dirty. 1. Walk up to the counter, look up and choose your pizza size. 10 inch is perfect. 2. They will ask your name and feel free to tell them Daenerys, Khaleesi, or Cherry because whichever name you give, they may get most of the right letters on the paper pizza liner. No matter, the staff is friendly enough, you won’t mind being called Bradley. 3. Pick your pizza sauce. I recommend their marinara. I don’t know what or how they get their sauce so damn tasty, but I get double marinara every time. 4. Load it up with all toppings. That’s right, unlimited toppings. I recommend the roasted corn as a garnish. You’re welcome. 5. They will put it through their oven. Reminiscent of that hot sandwich place that did that too. 6. Get a drink. I recommend their Karbach on tap. If it’s Tuesday, you can enjoy $ 10 pizza and pint. Ooh yes! I love it! I have enjoyed this location twice now with my Unilocal besties and I adore it! I love the Apple Pay and it’s just my newest fav place!

I have been here twice now and here is my report. First visit was for a custom made pizza(10″) on a Tuesday night where they have a special of the pizza and a Karbach beer for $ 10. I also ordered an order of garlic bread for $ 3.99. My pizza was hamburger, mushrooms and grilled onions. Man, was that a good pizza! The cheese was gooey and I loved the crust. Excellent pizza and at a retail price of about $ 7.50 provided excellent value. By the way the garlic bread was very good too. Second visit was about a week later and on that visit I ordered a calzone. The one I picked from their menu was a BBQ chicken and bacon mix. Again, excellent as I really liked their BBQ sauce on the calzone along with the great crust. I am sold on this place. Great food at great prices in a nice atmosphere. Counter staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The owner has come out on both visits to talk. This business will be successful. P. S. They also serve salads here. I am sure they are quality like their pizzas.

I like this place, I went today with my sons and it was a nice clean shop. Small but nice. You can add any toppings to your pizza, like subway but with pizza. It was good, better than MOD pizza(they have s similar concept) We also got cinna stix.: my kids loved them. It was nice small portion. Great if you want something quick and tasty. The workers were great. They walk you through everything and give you suggests. We has a great time. Well go back again

I’m going to be honest, I came here to see what the fuss is all about, to prove everybody wrong, and to end the ridiculousness of the five-star ratings that everybody is giving this place. It’s just another one of those build-your-own pizza places, right? Can’t be anything special, right? Well, at least that’s the expectation I had in my mind when I made my way here. It was a Sunday afternoon, just a little before one. When i walked in, there were only two other customers waiting for their pizza to be prepared. Nobody behind me. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me and informed that he would be right with me as soon as he was done helping the other customers. Seconds after that, a second gentleman — whom I found out to be the GM, Will C. came out and informed me the same thing. Both of them were making sure that the other two customers were taken care of before helping me. Will made sure that I didn’t feel ignored because he kept coming back and told me that he’d be right with me as soon as he was done. He also asked if I wanted pizza or salad. When he found out I wanted pizza, he asked if I wanted the 6″ or the 10″ size and he prepared my pizza dough to be pressed. After a really short wait, Will finally came back to help me. He asked me if it was my first time there and explained how the ordering process worked. He was chatty, friendly, and courteous. He also explained that they’re trying to use local brews when possible as they offer some brews from 8th wonder, Karbach, and St. Arnold on tap. Of course they also had your typical Bud Light and such, but who cares about those? If you look up on the screen, apparently they also offer wine on tap. The beer prices are pretty reasonable between $ 4.50 and $ 5.00 for a pint, and the wine priced between $ 6 and $ 8.50. This place also allows you to BYOB for $ 4 corkage fee. Awesome! As I was looking at the toppings, Will explained that one side of the toppings is for the salads and the other side is for the pizza. However, I could put anything from either side on the pizza. And as always, there’s never an extra charge for any additional toppings. I opted for a 10″ pizza with regular pizza sauce(they have a few selections including marinara, bbq, etc) with double pepperoni, double Italian sausage, beef, bacon, and some black olives. As soon as he was done prepping my pizza, he put it in the oven and told me that it was going to be about 1.5 minutes for the pizza to get done(it was more like two minutes). My pizza was obviously hot and fresh. It was very flavorful; the sauce was good, the cheese was good, the toppings were obviously good, and the crust was delicious. I remember thinking to myself, «they’re not lying!» as I chowed down on my pizza. they have a big dining area with your typical tables and chairs. They also have a small lounge area toward the back by the fountain drink machines if you want a more relaxed setting when you come here with friends. As you look around the dining area, you’ll see that the walls are full of doodles and writings that the customers put on the wall. There are markers that you could use to add your own work of art on the wall, just remember to keep it clean, mmkay? I also learned that Hot Toppings is planning to open a second location inside the loop probably by the end of Summer or early Fall. Soon enough, you inner loopers won’t have to drive all the way to the SW side of town to get some good pizza. Anyway, I know a lot of you are scared to trek outside the loop(except to go to the Galleria mall), but if you’re looking for some really good pizza with super friendly service, I highly suggest you drive out of your comfort zone and visit Hot Toppings pizza. Especially on a Tuesday when they offer $ 10 pizza and pint special. As for those of you who live in the area and frequent Mod Pizza or Blaze, definitely give Hot Toppings a try and see for yourself what the fuss is all about.

I can’t believe I waited so l long to come here. I have been living in the area for a while and from before the store opened up. Believe the ratings. The Pizza is phenomenal. I used to think that mod on San Felipe was the better pizza near my house, but now that I have eaten here, I think this one is better; mainly because I prefer the pizza base here to there. I had marinara base pizza with basil, sun dried tomatoes and arugula below the mozeralla base and pepperoni, chicken, black olives, red onions, mushrooms, jalapeños and goat cheese above. It blew my mind.

Stopped by Hot Toppings today for some delicious pizza! The atmosphere is awesome, the employees were fun and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. First off, upon walking in we were instantly greeted, and since it was our first time, we were given a run down of how things work. Basically, you can choose a 6 inch or 10 inch pizza or a salad. All with unlimited toppings. Usually when my fiancé hears the word«unlimited», he accepts that as a personal challenge. However, this was a challenge he did not win because where most places will usually tell him«alright sir that’s enough», the employee at Hot Toppings said«are you sure you don’t want more bacon?» Overall, Hot Toppings is amazing and I will definitely be back(again and again)!

My first time here !! I was a little skeptical at first. But I was impressed by the simplicity of the business … Simple yet Delicious !!! Just the right size of pizza with whatever toppings I want … Kudos to the friendly staff and its owner David, which gave us a little more insight about his business(for a very small cork fee you can bring your own wine) that’s a bonus.

Fast-fresh pizza lovers, this is for you. This place is another example of the new«Chipotle-style» pizza trend. It’s family– friendly, comfortable, and clean. I stopped by around 6:30 pm expecting to wait due to the dinner rush but was delighted to walk right up and order! Service — 5⁄5. The employees were very personable. They gave me their favorite creation recipes and pumped me up to try some new toppings. Taste — 5⁄5. The marinara sauce is out of this world. Unlike similar places I’ve been, it seemed to be a bit thicker and maybe just a tad sweeter than the norm. The standard toppings are available. Select the ones you like. Value — 5⁄5. I checked-in on the Unilocal app and received a 10% off coupon. I paid just over $ 7 for the 10-inch pie. Yes!!!

The hubby is a huge pizza snob so when I brought up hot toppings as a dinner suggestion, he was quite skeptical even with the Unilocal worthy reviews. Definitely 5 stars for the UNLIMITED toppings and price point. With a 10in pizza and garlic stix with a combo discount, it came out to be around $ 11 not including tip. It can’t get any better than that! The service is fantastic as the staff took their time to build our pizza and when we asked for more of the same toppings, they happily obliged and without judgment. They greeted us hello and goodbye as we arrived and left which promoted a friendly atmosphere. We left our mark on their wall. Hopefully it’ll still be there when we come back. Pretty cool concept of allowing customers to draw on their wall. We don’t recommend the garlic stix. They’re nothing special. Now the pizza was GOOD. We built our pizza with 75% of their topping offerings and wasn’t sure what all the different flavors were going to taste like. I’m not a pizza person but I gobbled up half my hubby’s 10 inch pizza. We recommend asking for extra garlic if you like garlic and mozzarella cheese. If you overbuild your pizza, it’ll take longer to cook in their oven but however they cooked ours, it was delicious. They also offer happy hour and salads. We’ll be happily back.

Originally I would have give them a 4 star because service was great. Spectacular. They showed us the works since we were first timers. The food was good. It really takes 7 mins like they said. One thing different about the chain versus other chain is the oven they used. It’s not the big fire oven but what looks like an iron oven. Anyways pizza was still good but thin. I actually ate the whole thing. I had chicken. Bacon and pepperoni on mine with an assortments of veggies. Half marinara and half pesto sauce. Ok now why I am giving it a 2 star instead. The very next morning my boyfriend and I both were sick to our stomachs! They must have had rotten meat or something. Any food place that causes their customers to feel that way cannot get a 3+ star even if they had great customer service. I really wanted to go back because the guy told us they have BYOB of wine. You just gotta pay the $ 4 fee. Which was pretty awesome. Also they do serve wine there. Plus craft beer. But still iffy about the whole stomachaches aftermath
