So happened to stumble upon this Kroger when I picked up a pizza in the area. I was surprised how close it is to my Nail shop on Normandy, which is the cross street that this Kroger is located. I ran in to return some bakery goods that my coworkers were not worthy of. That’s right – I’m that petty sometimes.. .may I add that it was a week later when I returned the desserts back to the store? It wasn’t intentional, but I wasn’t going out of my way to return it either, No prob. I had my receipt that the customer service rep didn’t really look at and received my cash money back. Cool Beans! Decided to do a little shopping while I was inside. Shelves are nicely stocked and organized. Produce is pretty fresh. Only thing I can«complain» about is that the deli doesn’t sell the chipotle fried chicken. Since I really didn’t want to stop anywhere else that night, decided to get the four regular fried chicken wings. Unfortunately, they only had 2 wing available and a piece of a wing like the drummette section. Almost passed on it altogether, but why not be a little healthy? Decided to make up the order with baked wings instead. My luck: The guy gave me a wing free. I think I like this Kroger, but a little bias, I wish they had the chipotle fried chicken. With a pharmacy and gas station at this location as well, this is easily becoming my place to shop after going to the gym or after getting my nails done. Convenience is always a winner in my book!

I like this location more than the smaller location on beltway 8& wood forest! There is more selection here & I always find what I need! I usually end up coming out with more than what I went in for lol! :)

I like this location and there is a huge variety compared to the other Kroger stores in this area.

Considering the side town this is, I really shouldn’t even bother with a review. The Kroger’s itself is actually pretty nice. It is always clean(though the bathrooms could use some work), they have an okay selection considering the clientele, and the parking lot is large enough. The problem lies more in the other customers. Evidently the grocery store has become a free babysitter. Parents bring their kids and let them roam free, throwing things off shelves(including a can of corn I saw a little boy throw at his sister), opening food off the aisles, running around screaming, etc. I hardly ever actually see a kid with their parent except at the check out line. I’m not really sure when it became acceptable to allow your children to take things and put them into other people’s carts, but evidently I’m behind on the times. All I can say is that going to the HEB down the street was such a scary experience that I really appreciated how«nice» this Krogers was – until I got so fed up that now I shop 25 minutes away for groceries so I don’t have to deal with it. Ugh!
