I really loved this place. It’s a hidden gem. The food is perfect for the price AND they deliver.

This place used to be very nice for a quick to go order. The waitress they had was amaaazing. However, I think they just got new owners and now the lady they have up front is kinda rude. Ive called in twice and both times she seemed to be in an extreme hurry to get off the phone and didn’t even ask for a name on the order or give a total, just hung up. Even the to-go containers were downgraded. Really wish they had kept it the way it was.

Our food was incredibly tasteless and not worth finishing. Which is out of the norm for both my husband and I. For great Chinese food in the same price point, go to the Bamboo China Café on Wallisville near the Beltway.

This place is okay, what really got my goat though, was the horrible fried rice. The tangy chicken was good and I guess so was the service.

Same place, different location. There is a Spring Café in Sping, around the corner from where I use to live and this is the«same“place. It’s a small restaurant with table and booth seating. Nothing fancy, at the end of shopping plaza by the Kroger’s. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, general Tso’s chicken, eggroll and fried dumplings. They weren’t very busy so it wasn’t a long wait. The shrimp fried rice was good — not oversauced and decent size shrimp. The general Tso’s chicken was good. Lots of chicken and broccoli! The dumplings need a little more filling but they were still good. My friend said the eggroll was good too. It’s the normal American version of Chinese style food. The portions were good. They have lunch specials — 7 days a week and I use to live by those on weekends when I needed a quick bite but didn’t want McDonald’s. My friend is particular about Chinese food so I was glad when he said it was good.

They’re listed as Chinese Café or China Café on their sign… This place is great! The waitress was very friendly and knew many of the people who came in as we were there. The food was yummy! I had the Buddhas Feast and the vegetables were brightly colored and crisp. I’ve never had chinese food where my snow peas were crisp and bright green, so this was a very pleasant surprise! My mother had the Tangy Spicy Chicken with fresh broccoli and snow peas. It was very spicy. If you like hot food, this is perfect. My father had the General Tso’s dinner and it was fresh and had excellent sauce. The eggrolls were also very good. The place is small but there are about 10 tables available, perfect for a group or multiple families. They have a huge menu with tons of options. The prices are very reasonable.

Solid Americanized Chinese food place. Only a few tables inside but the food is better than average and the people are friendly. When I dine without my mother the waitstaff inquires about her, and when she dines without me they do the same. The orange chicken is especially tasty. Prices are what you would expect with the typical, soup-eggroll-rice and entrée lunch or dinner specials. Just a nice, small– neighborhood Chinese restaurant. I can’t imagine many people would come across town to visit, but if you are from Northshore or East Houston, this is well worth a try.
