Pilgrim Cleaners

8 button ups. $ 57. Seriously. I have never in my life paid more than $ 2 per shirt… Fifty-​seven dollars… just wow… NEVER AGAIN! THIS DRY CLEANER WILL RIP YOU OFF BIG TIME! If you like not being ripped off then stay as far from this place as humanly possible.

I took a total of three items to Pilgrim cleaners after some research. I was looking for a cleaner that was close to my job that would provide excellent customers service and quality work.
I dropped off my three items. I requested one item to be dry cleaners and the other two items to be pressed. One of the items I requested to be pressed had been washed but it was extremely wrinkled from being washed and then hung on the dryer. I wasn’t going to try to get those winkles out but I had been to cleaners in Ohio (where I’m from) and they had no problem pressing out the wrinkles.
So I thought my experience would be the safe at Pilgrims. Boy was I wrong. I went to pick up my three items the next day which was a Friday because I was leaving to go out of town that Friday evening. I had already paid for each item when I dropped them off so that when I came to pick them up and I can just grab the items and leave out. I noticed immediately that the item that was visible winkled has not been pressed at all and I was in shock. I asked the lady to have it sent back and repressed. I was in such a hurry I assumed the other item that I asked to be pressed was actually pressed. I got in my car and make sure the other two items are hung up and make my 7 hour drive. I didn’t notice until the next morning when I got up to get dressed that the other item wasn’t pressed at all. My friend noticed as well and stated where did you get this pressed at, they did a horrible job. I was upset because i couldn’t wear the jacket.
When i arrived back in town I took the other jacket back and asked for them to repress this jacket and I picked up my other jacket that was pressed this time but I’ve seen better work. I will not recommend anyone go to this cleaner. They send everything out. I wanted to get some alteration done and they stated I had to know my measurements because they didn’t have anyone there to measure me. I know now that the next cleaners I go to has to have the work done in house and have a person that does alternations on staff. Pilgrims has a nice sign and a website but they don’t do quality work at all!
