This place has become one of our regular dinner destinations. The staff, as well as the manager Freddy, have made it a very safe place for our child who has several food allergies, which includes wheat, to eat. They offer gluten free pasta which she can eat. When Freddy is working he makes sure her food is prepared in a safe way so as not to risk any cross contamination with any other allergens. When he isn’t working we’ve not had any issues either and the staff are very accommodating and nice about our«difficult» order. It’s not always easy to go out to dinner and trust someone else to prepare her food. We do carry epi pens just in case, but when we come here we feel safe and at ease that we won’t have to use them. The food is always consistent as well and as a fast casual italian restaurant, you can’t do better.

It’s like they don’t want customers. I have liked the food in the past. They are never busy and never have any customers. A few months ago I tried twice to order take out and was told they were closed. One time was close to closing time so I guess I understand, but the other was 45 minutes before closing time. When I mentioned that, they said they closed early because they had no customers. So, I reported that and was told that was not protocol. Didn’t bother ordering from them for a while. Today I decided to give them another try. It is 630 so they shouldn’t be closing, but left me on hold for 10 minutes. One person even picked it up, didn’t saying anything and put me back on hold. Since they NEVER have any customers I don’t see how they could be so busy they can’t bother to do a take out order. It’s not worth the effort to try to get food there. No wonder they never have any customers!

Having lived in the Austin area for several years, I was used to the excellence of Mandola’s Italian Kitchen. It was one of our family favorites! Imagine my excitement at finding out there was a Pronto down the street! Another Mandola owned restaurant. Boy, was I very disappointed! The food was just so-so and it was expensive! Sooooo sad about that. Mandola needs to keep a tighter reign on his out of town restaurants.

This wasn’t the most amazing Italian I’ve ever had, but it was just good enough to return. It’s pretty moderately priced, and the location is very convenient. I ordered the Fettuccini Pronto to-go. The Alfredo sauce was a bit too watery for my liking and the chicken was a bit dry. However, the portion size was great, and the staff was extremely pleasant. This pasta dish set me back $ 12 — not bad for Italian!

Our first time, not impressed. Food was just okay not Fantastic. Eggplant Parm, roasted chicken. Order pay and sit down. Food arrived quick. Front staff seemed more involved with each other than really up selling the menu. Just Blah… for us.

This has got to be the worst example of bad food. Really not even cafeteria quality. I went to the NEW Pronto on San Felipe for dinner there was not a soul in the restaurant. I should of followed my instincts that it was not good but was hungry so we ate. The food was out in literally two minutes which in my opinion was already sitting and made. Horrible and I ended up having stomach cramps as did my dinner partner later that evening. My guess was the food was off temperature just sitting there. Unreal poor excuse for a restaurant.

Food is good, I had some penne pasta with mushrooms, spinach, and chicken in marinara sauce. It came out fast but the serving size was a bit depressing… I’m 6’4″ 225… I should have ordered two. Deff worth a try if you eat small portions.

It was basically an Italian fast food place. You order at the counter, etc. Its decent just not fine dining. I really liked the rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Great staff, service.

I ate at another location years ago and enjoyed it. Was happy to see it in my neighborhood, but ick! Maybe we went at a bad time of day(5:45pm) but my friend took her food back & I would have but was embarrassed for both of us to. I had chicken parmigiana and it was not good. It was dry, hard to cut, the sauce was not good. I had a slice of margherita pizza. The crust was not even cut-able it was so hard. I definitely will not go here or recommend it to anyone.

The Fried Mozzarella was incredible. I had the Chicken Fettuccini with Alfredo sauce(called something else on menu), it was a touch bland and the chicken was DRY, DRY, but it did have a good base to it just needed more flavor in the Alfredo. The dry chicken and the watered down taste can be attributed to being prepared for the«quickness» advertised by the restaurant. My friend had the Salmon with Spinach, she said it was very good. I tired the spinach and it was vey tasty, flavored with garlic and olive oil. Italian beer was very good with the meal. The owner manager was super friendly and we received excellent service.

Food is good, not great. I have been here several times and there is always an issue with food inconsistency. Managers and plate runners don’t seem to care much about your feedback. There are many other great Italian options nearby. I don’t recommend Pronto Cucinino.

I have loved Pronto for years now and am glad to see they are expanding! I picked up lunch here last week and was not disappointed. I got chicken parm and it was a huge piece of chicken! Plus the green beans, which were delicious. Also tried the margherita pizza square– very tasty, the cheese was great! Plus they have curbside pick up– always a bonus when picking up to go food! I will be coming back again!

This place is just ok. My eggplant parmigiana came out cold and the garlic rolls were hard as rocks. I guess if you want quick and average Italian food, this is the spot to go!

nothing special here. Everything is very, very average. Bite for bite, nothing is wrong but nothing is great. Not sure what the problem is here but there is not one single thing I’ve eaten here that would draw me back. If you just need a mindless meal to satisfy hunger and don’t really care about taste or quality then have at it. otherwise… skip it.

Great family establishment serving causal and quick Italian food. The flat breads are great and you can actually watch yours being made and the gelato is grand. They have tasty wine selection too! Great place to stop in after you shop at HEB or before so you don’t eat all the samples.

Just as great as the other location. The Ensalata Pollo is great. I will be back here since it is closer to office than Montrose location.

This spot is part of a new strip center development that’s within walking distance and that’s a plus for me already. I walked over to try something and decided to get a shrimp scampi sandwich. It was a sandwich with shrimp and melted cheese goodness. I think I needed some type of sauce to top it off. Maybe next time I will ask for something. The décor is very catchy and the service I received, eventhough it was«to-go», was very pleasant. The food I ordered was prepared and ready in a reasonable enough time. Great, fast service at a good price is a plus during the lunch hour and you know ‘dis MAN! I plan to go back for a sit down lunch pretty soon.

Very good unpretentious Italian food. I ordered the meatball panini(which came with extra Italian sauce and chopped salad) which was utterly delicious but had food envy when my work colleague ordered the Chicken Vincent(which I will order on my next visit!) I also ordered the Caprese salad to go. Very attentive service by staff, they came around to check on us twice and to refill our drinks. So I went back for lunch today and had the Chicken Vincent with mashed potatoes — yummo! Finished off with the pistachio gelato. Can’t wait to go back again!
