Rico took care of my beard today. This was my first time meeting him. He was very professional and he did a great job. Service included tea tree oil and hot towel treatment and razor finish.
I appreciated that the shop is clean and well lit. The music wasn’t blaring and there is ample seating for patrons.

Stay away from Haven chair. The guy knocked my hairline back three centuries. I haven’t seen much of what the other barbers do but his haircuts are the worse I’ve seen since I moved to Houston.

Nice atmosphere. Rico’s cuts are on point. Since relocating to Houston 10 years ago, he is the only barber that I return to and recommend to others. Schedule an appointment & you’ll be taken if. Go today!!!

Michael «Rico» Hernandez has recently opened this new barber shop on the South Belt near Cullen. I was a frequent customer at his old shop. He is easily the most talented barber in Houston and has a huge following.
His new shop accepts walk-​ins, cuts all types of hair, and accepts appointments. Just give him a call and he will accommodate you. I’ve NEVER got a haircut that I didn’t like here. He does fades with clippers and can also cut exclusively with scissors.
The shop is roughly 10 minutes from downtown depending on traffic and he personally answers the shop phone number to get you scheduled. Rico has also expanded this into a beauty shop for your significant other.
ONE haircut/​fade and you WILL be a regular.
