Hey Ross, I’ve noticed a lot of customer service complaints on your page and have usually ignored them since I usually know what I’m getting into when I’m shopping at Ross. However, I had such an infuriating experience just now at your Houston location(westheimer and Hwy 6) that I had to go to social media to give you some feedback. Perhaps with enough feedback from your customers, you might want to implement some sort of customer service retraining program in your stores for employees. Since it’s after the holidays, I understood that there would be a lot of shopping and long lines to wait in. What was infuriating in my experience is that a woman who got in the wrong line was allowed to cut in front of me when she got up to check out. I realize we were both waiting for a while but there was one person checking returns(that takes much longer than purchases) whereas purchases had three lines open. Though she got to the other purchase counter quicker than I, her line was also moving faster because three counters were open. When she decided to cut in front of me and all the people waiting behind me, the cashiers backed up her move. Supporting her move insinuates that her time is more important than everyone else that was in the line in the store and that the rules in the store don’t really matter. I also value my time and don’t like spending my day waiting in lines. That doesn’t mean I get to cut around wherever I want, especially when it happens to be that I am the one who makes a mistake. An employee could have asked her to go to the end of the line and wait just like everyone else or another lane in returns and exchanges could have been opened. This situation was handled very poorly by your employees and was very disappointing. I would caution everyone going to this location to lower your customer service expectations greatly when shopping at this location.

Not that I expect the best customer service from anyone at Ross but this place is an all new awful in the crap service from Ross. Rude manager at closing. I’m posting at 9:27 pm as the jerk made sure everyone was in line 5 min ago bec they are«closed.» Actually sign says 930 and I was actually just looking for a size in a dress I already found at another story when he specifically came up to me to tell me to get out.

I cant! I can’t! The long lines, the clueless employees, the careless managers! I cannot do this Ross ever again! We were in line for over 25 minutes and when we FINALLY got some kind of rescue a slew of employees came to the registers! A horrible experience for me and the other customers in line!

I came to return an item that did not fit. Loss Prevention immediately jumps on me about carrying my iced latte into the store. There are no signs posted saying drinks are prohibited. Calm the hell down! Basically, I kept my drink, returned the item and left. This location is lame.
