The ice cream cookie sandwich are amazing. Really fast service. Convenient location, parked around rice village in a parking lot across torchys taco. Will be going again to purchase their amazing ice cream cookies sandwich.

I looooove me some Smoosh! They’re usually on campus at the University of Houston as well as across from Torchy’s Tacos in Rice Village! Their customer service is quick, friendly, and their ice cream sandwiches are to die for. You get a choice of cookie, choice of ice cream flavor, and a choice of any toppings. Ice cream scoops are generous and cookies are baked there and warm . Definitely 10⁄10 would recommend.

Don’t waste your time. I got really excited when I saw the food truck, but it was an ultimate let down. The ice cream is tasteless and the cookie is tiny. Don’t waste $ 5. The only reason why I gave them two stars is because of the customer service.

Warm and gooey cookies, decent ice cream. The cookies are too small for the amount of ice cream they give you, and in the end you will just be holding a handful of cold dairy.

My family made a dash to Smoosh Cookies we had heard so much about it. We were thrilled to finally get our opportunity to try it after following them on instagram. And seeing all the mouth-watering full-color pictures of their desserts. We were not disappointed! One chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream and oreos, one chocolate chip and vanilla ice cream with mini colorful m&m’s. And a cup of vanilla. They definitely will see us again, soon! yeah boi!!!

My friend and I had their ice cream yesterday. The location was easy to get to and the truck was conveniently parked in a small public parking lot. I got the ice cream sandwich — 2 chocolate chip cookies, chocolate ice cream and chocolate chips as the topping, since I absolutely love chocolate and my friend got the ice cream sandwich with two chocolate chip cookies, strawberry ice cream and sprinkles. They were each about $ 4+ change, which I thought was a reasonable price, since they make the cookies and ice cream themselves. I was a bit worried that they placed the ice cream sandwich in a small parchment baggie bc it would be messy once the ice cream started melting, but the ice cream was pretty thick and did not melt fast. We originally tried biting into the treat, but found that it was better to eat it with a spoon. For that reason only, I would have preferred for them to place the sandwich in a small cup or plate. Other than that, the entire treat was simply delicious. The chocolate chip cookies were soft and chewy and the chocolate ice cream was very rich in flavour. I will definitely have some again. As for my friends ice cream, she also loved it. I don’t particularly like strawberry ice cream, but did try a spoonful of hers and thought it was good. It had a more natural flavor than the store bough ice cream. I might just have some next time.

Fresh, chewey cookies, cold creamy ice cream and a plethora of toppings. How can you go wrong with a delectable treat after dinner or shopping. This is a great food truck and the servings are perfectly portioned for what you get. SOOOOGOOOOOD!!! Smoosh for the win!

I was on my way to another place of business when I looked up and saw the Smoosh truck. My eyes grew in excitement as this has been on my list of places to try for a long while. The line moved quickly, the staff was helpful, and my order was ready pretty fast. I ordered the cookie Smoosh with chocolate chip cookies, vanilla ice cream topped with Oreos and graham crackers and it was delicious. My kids had cookie sundaes and they literally cleaned their cups. I highly recommend this cute concept and sweet treat!

Finally stopped by the SMOOSH truck and I loved it just as much as I thought I would. I mean, what’s there not to love about freshly baked cookies and homemade ice cream? The cookies came out soft & warm and tasted delicious on a sunny day. There are plenty of cookie/ice cream/topping options to choose from, but I’m sure there’s no way to go wrong no matter how you choose. The truck is usually parked from 2:00 — 8:00 p.m. across Torchy’s Taco in Rice Village. Service is quick so don’t let the lines scare you!

This place is literally the epitome of ultimate indulgence. We usually eat ice cream or cookies by themselves, but together… oh dear. But it’s irresistible because its concept is absolutely brilliant. Thank you Houston for finally catching on to the dessert trends circulating the country. I had the chocolate chip cookies with strawberry ice cream, which was like eating a chocolate-covered strawberry covered in cookie dough. Decadent. The portion looks innocently small, but once you dig in it begs all of your attention to be eaten with some level of decorum. Which is hard because ice cream melting + chocolate smears = a lost cause. But well worth it!

Smoosh is a food truck that offers warm baked cookies with a scoop of ice cream in the center aka ice cream sandwiches. Didn’t even know Smoosh was a food truck, since I was dragged here by a friend who wanted to try the place. When you come up to the food truck you have the option of choosing which type of cookie you want to use for your ice cream sandwhich, opinions include; peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar, white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin & seasonal Then you choose your ice cream flavor for the cookie which is; butter pecan, chocolate, french vanilla, mint chocolate chip, peanut butter brownie, strawberry, Apple pie & flavor of the month. I went with flavor of the month which was«birthday cake», my friends got chocolate chip & birthday cake & I got white chocolate macadamia & birthday cake. Is it weird to say my ice cream sandwich was a little too sweet? Overall I feel like Smoosh is definitely not something I would drive all the way to go look for or crave. If it’s in the area, yeah sure I might get an ice cream sandwich if I have a super super sweet tooth. But I feel like the food truck scene in Houston, especially the way it’s evolving; Smoosh does not really offer anything different or special to be able to compete with other similar food trucks. I wish there were more interesting flavors for both cookies & ice cream. I wanted to really like this place, because I’m definitely an advocate for supporting local businesses but Smoosh really needs to step up it’s game.

What a treat! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in making recommendations! I thought I wanted to try something out of the box and original, they recommended some crazy ideas that all sounded yum! I ended up going with an original ice cream sandwich rolled in sprinkles. It was heavenly. The sandwiches aren’t huge so you don’t feel as bag finishing them! I would recommend splitting one if you are going after a meal! I ate mine for dinner and was totally satisfied! I wish they were open earlier during the day. I would love to treat myself to one on my lunch break… maybe on a Friday!

This is just slightly better than a Tiffwich, which, in my opinion, is the original«gourmet» cookie ice cream sandwich. The cookies are delicious and I appreciate the variety of toppings you can add to your ice cream sandwich. Also, the ice cream isn’t pre-frozen and is the perfect temperature/texture so it’s just soft enough to bite into without melting all over the place. That being said, Idk if it justifies spending an extra $ 2 – 3. I think this would be a great treat on a hot summer day, and a great way to support a local business. Their concept and design/logo are super cute!

Decided to check out this dessert truck after driving by! You create your ice cream sandwich by choosing: 1) cookie — sugar, peanut butter, chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin, seasonal, etc 2) ice cream flavor — French vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, apple pie, chocolate, etc 3) toppings — sprinkles, bacon, whipped cream, etc. Tasty and sweet!

SMOOSH Cookie is as easy as: 1. Cookie Flavor 2. Ice Cream Flavor 3. Topping Flavor(optional $ 0.50) Quality is key here, nothing but the best ingredients and craftsmanship. There’s nothing delicious ice cream smooshed between cookies can’t fix! Granted, anything in between these cookies would be amazing; I’d rent this truck for my front yard if I could. #SMOOSHcookie

Thank you Jesus this place is not by my house!!! My friend Kathryn told me this place was mind blowing and her and I left the Sephora in Village Arcade and decided to be their first customers so I can see how remarkable this cookie truck is. Now granted, I am extremely picky about cookies, Ice Cream and flavors and to impress me in that area you have to bring it hard core!!! I ordered Chocolate Chip cookie, Peanut butter brownie ice cream with Bacon sprinkled around it. Lets start with the cookie-They have many flavors to choose from which makes it hard but I wanted to make sure I got my entire flavor profile right so I went with classic chocolate chip. The cookie was chewy in the middle, crisp around the edges and the perfect balance of brown sugar and chocolate chips. Very homemade taste with a kick ass recipe. Ice Cream-I love Peanut butter and brownies so it was on! It was a great ice cream, I tasted more of the peanut butter than the brownie but really creamy and solid. I have been killing the ice cream game all summer since I purchased a Ice Cream maker at home so I am somewhat of a snob now, and I will say they do a solid job. Here is where they lost a star from me, the bacon… I am obsessed with bacon and ice cream as a matter fact I make a killer Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Ice cream with Candied bacon that is so legit! Their bacon was like bacon bits that you get out of a premade bag, they were to perfect in size like bits and really chewy not crunchy. I know its hard on a food truck but if they were to cook a ton of fresh bacon, candy it in the over and freeze it would add a massive bang to the Ice cream sandwich. It would have given a true crunchy texture to play against their chewy cookies and creamy ice cream. But all in all this truck is the business and their service is stellar!!! When you see them run don’t walk!!!

Great treat on a hot day but can also be your nemesis since it is so hot out. Pretty standard options when it comes to cookies, ice cream, and toppings. Opted for chocolate chip cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Oreo cookie topping(grounded Oreos). Perfect in size. Not too small or too big. Good amount of ice cream scooped in the middle. Cookies are nice and soft to where it didn’t fall apart while you eat it and held up nicely with melting ice cream. My only con is if I’m paying $ 0.50 for a topping, at least have it around the whole ice cream sandwich. It’s sprinkled only on the top portion of the ice cream that’s visible to you. Service is quick once you order. Mine was ready before I knew it. Get one now before it gets scorching hot. It melted pretty quickly so you have to scarf it down fast.

Damn, I wish I thought of this first. It’s hard to go wrong when you combine cookies and ice cream. And it’s so simple to execute when you’re short on space inside a food truck. I could be laughing all the way to the bank right now. But I digress… You pick your cookie. You pick your ice cream. You pick your toppings. I sort of wish there was a larger/more innovative variety of cookies and ice cream, but I understand that space is limited. I decided to go for a classic — chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream. Was it delicious? Yes. Did it re-invent the wheel? No. I could’ve made an equally tasty ice cream sandwich with homemade cookies and Blue Bell ice cream with ¼ of the price, but this is honestly a very affordable option if you are looking for a quick fix for your sweet tooth. I do wish that they had some containers to catch all the ice cream drips, instead of just the paper sleeves. It was a hot day and my ice cream sandwich started to fall apart, despite my efforts to eat as quickly as possible. I also think some pre-set menu options would have been nice, as it helps indecisive people like me reach a decision a little quicker. Overall, this is a solid food truck, and I wish them lots of success!

I saw smoosh listed as a new business, and had to get a smooshie ASAP! This is definitely going to be a dangerous food truck for me Their schedule is posted on twitter, their website and facebook. I found them parked by trader joes, and ordered a smoosh with a chocolate chip cookie, and a peanut butter cookie with vanilla ice cream. The cookies were delicious, better than a tiffwich! I also ordered a choc chip with vanilla and oreo topping. The toppings are extra, but they have tons of options. I returned two days later, and got a cup of peanut butter brownie ice cream with a chocolate chip cookie. I don’t know where their ice cream is from, but its delicious. My friend got a shake, with mint chocolate chip ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie, a great option if you want something easier to handle, as the cookie sandwiches can melt pretty quickly in the Houston humidity! If you’re not feeling the ice cream, you can order just cookies, best part is they’re hot and fresh!

You know something is awesome when you combined ice cream, cookies, and a cartoon beaver together — it becomes Smoosh! Smoosh is a dessert food truck that serves mainly custom ice cream cookie sandwiches, but they also have milk shakes and floats. If you want just the cookie or ice cream by itself, they sell them separately too. Making your ice cream sandwich is a 3 step process: STEP1 — Choose Cookie –Peanut Butter –Chocolate Chip –Sugar –White Chocolate Chip Macadamia –Oatmeal Raisin –Seasonal Cookie(Alternating Flavors) STEP2 — Choose Ice Cream –Butter Pecan –Chocolate –French Vanilla –Mint Chocolate Chip(Delicious!) –Peanut Butter Brownie –Strawberry –Apple Pie –Flavor of the month(Today’s was Banana Pudding) STEP3 — Choose topping($ 0.50 Ea.) –Sprinkles –M&M –Peanuts –Coconut –Oreo Cookies –Chocolate Chip –Marshmallow –Graham Cracker –Nerds –Bacon(What!?) –Maple Syrup –Chocolate Sauce –Caramel Sauce –Strawberry Jam –Whipped Cream COST: The price of one ice cream sandwich is $ 3.75. Although there is no tax, it’s hard not to pay more than $ 4.00 per ice cream«Smooshie» because the iPad credit card swipe software urges customers to tip 15 – 20 percent. Because of this, I suggest bringing cash. It’s definitely a lot more than what I would normally pay for an ice cream sandwich, but it can be worth it for some people. Make sure you get a stamp card. If you buy 10 ice cream«Smooshies»($ 37.50 value), you get one free! ICECREAMSANDWICH: The ice cream cookie sandwiches are fantastic if you are into sweets. I chose the sugar cookie because they sold out of the chocolate chip. It’s wasn’t my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had the same taste and texture of those sold at Great American Cookies or Nestle(because of the soft and malleable feel). Take note though, that the sugar cookie is sweet by design so it may be overwhelmingly sweet after adding a second cookie and putting a scoop of ice cream in between. I found this out with the French Vanilla. None-the-less, the combination of cookies and ice cream is fantastic, especially if you are looking for something very sweet. Overall, I’m glad I tried this place. It’s a new concept that brings a classic dessert into a different perspective.
