Chicken was dry on both mine and my date’s. Meal was subpar. Service was horrible. Won’t go back.

Don’t even get me started. Horrible everything. Haven’t had more awful service. Do not go. A bunch of my mutual friends have told us the horrors of this place. Wayyyyyy overpriced. Food is mediocre. Bunch of cheapskates who try to rip you off. CHECKYOURBILLSGUYS. They try to slide in other people’s orders on your bill.

Went here for Mother’s Day brunch and was a huge waste of money. The selection wasn’t that great and my girls ended up getting a plate of eggs and fruit. I had to ask for cream cheese near the bagels, the sliced beef couldn’t be cut it was so tough and the coffee tasted like we were at a Waffle House. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and prompt in their service.

Birthday lunch for my mom today and Strata was her selection. We had the empanadas as our appetizer and it comes with 4 which is perfect since we had 4 in our party. They were unique and tasty which a hard crust and warm and juicy inside. For my entrée I went with the servers recommendation and got the Duck Confit Sandwich and seasoned fries. Wow! What a great sandwich. Shredded duck on a warm and soft ciabatta roll that was seasoned perfectly with a tasty sauce and cucumbers inside. I highly recommend this sandwich and it’s a steal for $ 9. We ended up sharing a bread pudding dessert with a scoop of ice cream and it was fantastic. This was a perfect birthday celebration. Thank you Strata.

Strata is a beautiful restaurant and bar that offers unique and delicious dishes. I went there for dinner and tried the cherry duck. It is something I’ve never had before. The duck was seared perfectly on the outside and moist in the center. Chef’s recommendation is medium rare. It came with the Sriracha risotto. The spiciness of the risotto and the slight sweetness of the cherry sauce was a perfect balance. The service was great. Our server refilled our drinks in a timely manner. Desserts are a must try. The experience was well worth it!

Way over priced for quality. Food was okay, nothing to brag about and felt ripped off.

Went to Strata for our 12th anniversary dinner. It was a welcome night out without the kiddo. The service was great the food was delicious. Love the Lamb Lollipop appetizer. Need to make it an entrée. The music was a little too loud.

My boyfriend and I love going here. We always ask for the same waiter, Corey, who is always super optimistic and attentive. His attitude is so positive! The customer service and food is amazing. Try the butternut squash ravioli and the chocolate nirvana for desert. I also love their complimentary focaccia bread– it always tastes homemade and fresh.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s a few days early and decided to go to Strata which was our first time. The food was pretty good. I had the shrimp surf and turf and he had the filet mignon with vegetable orzo pilaf. They don’t have A1 sauce but the steak was delicious by itself. They have tobasco and sriracha sauces if you need some spice. The ambiance was nice for datenight. Low lights and live music. They have a patio too so it’s nice to sit outside on a good day. Food was a bit pricey for me though, so it wasn’t extravagant enough for me to continually go back but good enough to visit occasionally.

Strata is home to(in my opinion) the best burger I’ve ever had. Their Kobe burger is out of this world; homemade bun, fries, caramelized onions and ripe fresh avocados, not to forget the thick bacon and aged cheese. Can’t go wrong. Reasonable prices too. Thanks Strata

Wow! This place is just simply amazing. Very accommodating to children. I went here with a friend and my 6 month old with a stroller. They sat us in a private room where there’s little to no noise level since my son is young and I asked for somewhere quiet. Our waiter was very attentive and patient with us as it was our first time there. We order the sampler appetizers, that had 3 crab cakes, 4 beef empanadas and half plate calamari. The crab cake was full of crab and tasteful, the beef empanadas was also good. The calamari tasted like any other places with good calamari. That sampler pretty much filled both of us up. But we decided to both order the Kobe beef burger. And Omgeee was it melt in ur mouth! This place is amazing. Will defiantly come here with the mister for a dinner date.

Very nice atmosphere. I had the chicken fried chicken with spinach and macaroni. It was amazingly good! Went by myself and sat at the bar. Would definitely not mind eating in the dining area with friends in the near future.

Had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing! Lots of food for the price! Few others had chicken fried steak, tequila chicken, and various other seafood dishes. Fantastic play with excellent service.

Updating my review to say… great, again! Had another business lunch here today with two other people. We all thought our food was terrific, and again, the service was great, the atmosphere was just right, and I wondered why I don’t dine here more often. We ordered appetizers, shrimp & grits, salmon, and salads, and everything was timed impeccably, and the portion sizes were just right. Trust me, if you read my other reviews, I can be pretty picky. Strata deserves high marks.

We’ve visited Strata twice now for dinner on Saturday evenings about a year apart and both experiences were similar. The food in general is good to very good. The wine list is just okay offering a few choices at every price point but no real gems except at the high end. The restaurant offers live music which is always enjoyable as is the general ambiance. Our fellow diners were dressed casually in jeans, shorts, etc. for the most part. The noise level was medium. Our server was fairly attentive, friendly and accommodating. The prices overall are a bit steep compared to the quality of the food. The portions are typically large. Our final bill which consisted of two dinner salads, two entrees, a shared dessert and a $ 47 bottle of wine before tip came to $ 156.00. In hindsight, for that amount there are a number of other restaurants offering a more elevated cuisine and a better wine menu at which we would choose to dine unless we simply found ourselves at Vintage Park. There are coupon specials on sites such as Groupon from time to time for this restaurant. It pays to seek current deals online before dining at Strata.

Have eaten here on 3 occasions now, and each time it is very good. Service is quite good, menu is mixed with many different choices. Thus far, I’ve had the tenderloin, the duck, the bacon mac n cheese, the caprese salad, and a few other apps, and all were quite good. It is one of our upper-end spots we enjoy as it is easy to get to and thus far, for us, has never been over crowded(we’ve never had to wait for a table).

My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night and sat at the bar table. We enjoyed the live music during our meal and watched the basketball game. I usually stick to beer so I wanted to try some mixed drinks, I had the Italian Margarita; wasn’t too impressed. I gave the Texas Millionaire a try, which was very hard to put down(do not recommend). For my meal I had the crab and filet. It was very good, nice portion and the filet was very tender and flavorful. Food and service was good. Little over priced. We enjoyed our evening at Strata.

I came to have dinner with a group of friends and picked this place because of the fairly new establishment. Despite the mixed reviews I decided to give this place a try. I have to say this place is a standard 3.5 stars for service and food. Why the four stars? Well, the bartender at the bar made the visit worthwhile. Lobster mac and cheese(3⁄5): It wasn’t bad but it could have been much better. It was nice and cheesy but lacked flavor. Also, the lobster was itty bitty. Empanadas(3⁄5): I was craving empanadas and I was looking forward to this appetizer. They were crispy and served hot but it didn’t wow me. Stuffed mushrooms(4⁄5): These were pretty good to snack on. Served hot and fresh. I have to say their drinks are pretty tasty. A lot of the cocktails were on the sweet side so the bartender suggested on the rocks. Henney on the rocks was pretty awesome. Overall, I would say this is a great place for a drink and a light snack during happy hour. I shall visit again to do an updated review.

I had lunch here today with a couple of friends. I had been here quite a few times for lunch and dinner when they first opened as well as dining in their private room a few times for larger groups. I recommended this place to my friends since I recall the executive lunch was a good deal. As I explored the executive lunch menu, I was disappointed to find that they had removed the pork chop with apple glaze. This was my favorite entrée for lunch. I wish they would put it back on the menu somewhere, even if they did not include it with the $ 15.95 lunch special. Today I ordered the 4oz beef toranados. As a starter, I ordered the soup of the day which was a creamy chicken noodle soup. It had a nice, rich texture and was quite flavorful. The beef was cooked to the proper temperature and the sauce was perfect. My two sides were the bacon mac and cheese and the garlic spinach without much garlic. The bacon mac and cheese was delicious, and I highly recommend it. While the spinach had only a tad of garlic flavor as requested, it could have used another 30 seconds in the sauté pan as it was still a little undercooked for my taste. One of our party ordered the Kobe beef hamburger($ 14.95), but they did not have the jalapeño bun as described. He was offered a ciabbata or a wheat bun. He chose the ciabatta, but he struggled with the burger as the bread was a little too hard. Nevertheless, you said that the burger was quite juicy and tasty. My other friend ordered a shrimp and rice or orzo dish, and she enjoyed this as well. I finish my meal off with a chai tea crème brûlée. This was the highlight of my meal. The flavor was pretty intense and the custard was quite creamy. Unfortunately, it was not included with the executive lunch special and cost about $ 7 more. My friend ordered the bread pudding would white chocolate topping and that dessert was also divine. Although the food was excellent as well as the service, this is not a place that I could eat regularly for lunch as it came out to be about $ 30 per person with dessert, drink and tip. I am used to paying between $ 15 to $ 20 for an executive lunch which would include a dessert and have a couple more choices in entrees at other fine dining venues, but in no way does this affect my rating on the food and service at this restaurant.

We were here for dinner at Strata with work folks. Not going to lie though, when I saw the photo of the bag of Lays chips with the comment«you’re better off buying this bag of chips», I was worried. With the bar already set pretty low, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entrees, the appetizers… not so much. What we ordered: — I don’t know what it was actually called since someone else ordered for the table, but it was two sample platter plates of mostly fried food. I would definitely skip that next time. — I ordered the special of the night — salmon over a bed of broccoli and garlic spinach. I asked for no butter or oil on the dish to avoid all the bad stuff. I was really surprised when the food came out. The salmon was cooked to perfection — seared on the sides and soft in the center, the garlic veggies were melt in your mouth delicious, and it came with a dark sauce that you only needed to use a little bit of. My rants: — Our server must have been new. He didn’t give us enough time to order, brought out extra appetizers that we didn’t order, plated all the wrong food to the wrong people, and was not very attentive. I can tell he tried, but it was just painful to watch. — Bit on the pricey side
