I come here every couple of months for a mani/​pedi, and I consistently have a good experience! The techs are thorough and attentive. The place is clean and well maintained. I’m usually a walk in, and the longest I’ve waited for someone to be available is about 10 mins. I always leave here w great looking nails!

My first time here. Very peaceful in here. Frances did my feet. They look alright. I will clean up my cuticles when I get home. I probably won’t be back. A little too pricey for it not to be amazing!!!
6÷22−−− I went back about two weeks ago & Frances did my feet again. I believe in second chances. She did much better the second time around.
I will be back every two weeks. I’m glad I gave her a second chance.

A wonderful lady named Lynn at Tangelwood Nails does lashes. The best lashes in town! The lashes are affordable and last a very long time. Lynn also works around your schedule!

I have been here twice as it is within walking distance of my home. The first time was amazing, however, I was disappointed the second time. On both occasions I asked for their spa pedicure but the person who did it the second time was not as good. I will probably go back, prices are what you find in most places and they welcome walk-​ins.

I have been here quite few times and I feel like the service is not always consistent. Sometimes with the standard pedicure they will do a really good job with scrubbing and massage and other times it feels like they just don’t care, and it’s not related to how busy they are either. Nancy is by far my favorite, she always does a thorough job and is really friendly. They have a good selection of color and their prices are decent for the area, $ 25 for a standard pedi and $ 15 for a mani. The salon is clean and it is usually no wait for a walk in.

Just got done getting the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. I called ahead at 11:30 and asked if they had time to give me a spa pedicure and noon, they said, «yes, come now.» So I did. When I got there, out of the 6 «spa» chairs, there were 2 occupied, 3 open chairs, and one completely unusable chair. I was sat in a BROKEN CHAIR with a sunken in back support. There were two pillows in the even MORE broken chair next to me, so I took it upon myself to grab them and put them behind my lower back. The woman doing my feet couldn’t understand me very well and I couldn’t understand her well either. She pulled her personal phone (which was not on silent) out of her pocket twice while doing my feet to see people calling. When she was done AFTER ONLY 30 MINUTES, I looked at my jagged toenails, which she didn’t even file, and said, «That does not look good. Can you please file my nails.» She only trimmed (not filed) the corner of my right pinky toe, said thank you and moved on to the next customer who was waiting for her. My toenails are half white (I asked for French tips), I still have rough patches of dead skin on my foot, junk underneath my toenails, and I was charged $ 38 for that. The service I received was sloppy and unacceptable and I took pictures of my toenails for reference. I am going to another salon to get my toes fixed.
I would not recommend this place to anybody. I wish I could get my money back.

I adore this place. I treat myself to a pedi here every so often and it’s really the most bang for your buck. Plenty of other places next door that are crowded and overstimulated with music and soap operas on tv. Not this place, weekday afternoons are relaxed and the staff treats you so well. You can definitely chill in their awesome massage chairs with some green tea and just unwind. Highly recommended for moms and visiting grandmothers. I mean it’s got Barbara B’s seal of approval! Works for me :) basic pedi starts at $ 25.

I’m new to Houston and I am now a loyal customer! I go to Minh but all the ladies are wonderful. Minh was able to keep up the same regimen that I have had for 18 years, in another state. Their services are also affordable, which can be hard to find in Tanglewood/​Galleria/​Uptown area. The ambiance is relaxing, friendly and unpretentious — like a neighborhood provider as opposed to a nail mill — customer in, customer out. Thank you very much!

Thought I would try something new and since this place is close to home, I went for a walk-​in. They didn’t give me a friendly greeting and then I was told no one was available and to come back in one hour. No thanks, I will stick with my usual place that I go to where they never make me wait… Bellagio Salon.

Like most, I am one of those picky people when it comes to my mani/​pedi! Let’s face it, it’s not just about the cuticles or nail polish, it’s about the relaxation. I’m sure almost all of your mani/pedi’rs out there can agree, the worst thing is when your nail artist is massaging your hands or feet and they stop to answer a call or keep yapping on to their neighbor in another language. Total buzz kill.
Thank god this place is NOT like that. I had branched out from my usual nail shop in midtown and went here on a recommendation from a friend. Stephanie did my nails and she did an amazing job! My nails looked great and lasted for quite some time.
The OCD clean freak in me loved how clean the salon was, and how hygienically the instruments were maintained! This is a definite plus when it comes to becoming a regular at a nail shop.
I would recommend this place to my friends, go check them out for yourself.

If I could give this place NO STARS, I would. First time I went there, it was really nice, but the second time, HORRIBLE! I went on a Sunday, and the owner’s sister did my refill. By the next day, four of my nails were lifting and chipping. I went Tuesday after work and I walked in. 3 girls getting their feet done with 5 techs working on them. I told the owner that I had been in on Sunday. SHe asked me where I sat to get my nails done. I guess her sister used the owner’s station bc she told me, I dont know why you sat at my station when I wasnt even here. I told her that is where the nail tech sat me. She then told me to come back on SUNDAY to the SAME tech so she could fix my nails. I asked her if she was refusing to fix my nails and she said that she didnt have «time» to help me. I told her it was perfectly fine. Also told her I was stopping my payment and told her customers that I hope they dont have the same horrible experience as they just witness me have.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVEN RUDER OWNER!

one wonderful person named Tammy: i’ve been her loyal client since about 2001 and will never cheat on her.
she gives the best manicure and pedicure. from london, la, new york, paris, austin, dallas, and every place in between, no one understands how to apply coulour the way she does.
she’s an artist and my friend and i recommend her whole heartedly.
btw, her service is expensive: around $ 50 for mani/​pedi, but well worth it.
