Westheimer Flea Market

This is my favorite kind of antiques store! Dusty, dirty, quirky, eclectic, unique, and well-​priced! It’s like a treasure hunt. There’s even stuff hanging from the ceiling. I don’t know what the previous commenter was thinking. I bought two beds here for my daughters, put them on hold (FOR FREE), and came back to pick them up the next day. No problems whatsoever. And the sales lady was super nice and even came down on the price. So, I scored TWO super cute, unique antiques for HALF the price of ONE new bed from a lame department store. Major score! I will most definitely be going back!

Lots of cool things! Sensory overload! A bit expensive though… the staff was VERY nice. Everywhere you look there is something g to see…

DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON LAYAWAY or ON HOLD AT THIS PLACE!!! I WOULD NEVER SHOP AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! We stumped upon this place while window shopping at all the shops up and down this street and I did not think I was going to buy anything. And then I found the perfect piece for the wine room. It was a very unique piece of furniture and knew I could not find another piece like this anywhere else so I asked what it would take for me to put this on hold. Of course there’s a cost to do that and I said fine. Whatever it took so it would not be sold. So I handed them $ 300 down. I then proceed to go on vacation and then a few other personal matters delayed me from obtaining this piece. When the sales associate Maria called and asked when can I come and pick this up, I informed her that my living situation has changed and this piece is now too big therefore what can we do. Well the owner, did not want to give me a store credit nor refund my money. He stated buy this piece or I will keep your money. Because I used my debt card the bank stated we can’t help you. So basically they stole my $ 300. I would have been glad to purchase something else and could not believe the owner would not be flexiable. He just wanted to keep my money no matter what. I don’t believe that makes good business sense. So shop here at your own risk especially if you want to be riped off.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for old furniture! I thought with the name «flea market», it would have the variety of a flea market, but no. 90% furniture, maybe a couple of paintings, a little bit of dishes, and a few statues. Also, zero air conditioning, and zero fans that I saw. Bleh!
