If you need a vintage bar this is the place to go. Super friendly guy welcomed my friends & I to Texas(we’re visitng from Ohio). Told us other places to visit & showed us the art deco bars with enthusiam & great knowledge. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the moldy smell. It was nearly unbearable. I totally understand that old stuff just smells. Whether it’s dusty, musty, or just that old ‘smells like grandmas basement’ but moldy is another thing. Overall though it didnt make too much of a difference since he had so much cool stuff & interesting knowledge.

Wow, if you need art deco bars/cellerettes, shop here. What a selection. We were all over the town looking for them, and they are all here. Somebody is a collector. This place is all furniture. No small stuff. If you need a cabinet, bar, buffet, etc, this place has a selection. Don’t let the size fool you. It’s deeper than it looks.

Like the first review said, BARS!!! I did not know I wanted one until I saw them here, and I knew I had to have one. I looked all over Houston and only two places had any kind of assortment of English Cocktail Cabinets. This ended up being the cheaper option and the one with the most options. They are great pieces that come in all sizes and styles. Most are in good condition and the proprietor is a nice gentleman. They have other antique items, but to me the bars are the stars. If you want a cool Mad Men style liquor piece in your house, check them out.

Bars! That’s basically what you’re going to find in this antique shop, which is appropriate for Montrose and especially this stretch of lower Westheimer. The owner is really into old freestanding bars and bar sets from the 20’s, 30’s and beyond, and it makes me wish I had a place or a pocketbook big enough for one of these massive deco-styled pieces. I don’t think I’ve seen so much glass and chrome mashed into one small space. However, if you’re on the hunt for anything else, you’re probably going to leave disappointed, though there were a few dining sets that were particularly stunning. It’s another one of the old houses on Westheimer that have been converted into antique shops, so all of them are rickety, but this one was ESPECIALLY so… I was afraid I was going to fall through the floor by the way it was creaking and groaning! All in all, interesting to look at, but not really to buy, unless you have your heart set on a vintage bar set. Then you’re in hog heaven!
