Whataburger

The food is exactly what is expected from a Whataburger. However, the drive through takes FOREVER. The area is covered, so the exhaust from the old truck in front of me came into my car. I don’t believe that I will be going back to this location as I do not want carbon monoxide poisoning!

Can they be any slower and get the wrong order everytime .and if they would only be nice but even that

I gave this place 1 Star because that was the lowest I could give. I live just a few blocks from here so it is convenient. I should know better than to go to this location but I guess since it had been such a long time since I did, I forgot how bad it is.
I ordered thru the drive-​thru and ordered the double with cheese. The minute I got the bag, I knew it was not hot. The burger was not even warm, and the fries were old, cold, and stale. I mean they didn’t even bother to throw the meat on the grill and warm it up a bit. I had to nuke the meat in order to eat it but it did not taste great because it was old.
The fries were unsalvageable. You CANNOT nuke french fries and have them taste good. It only makes them greasy.
The only other option close to me is McDonalds and I do not eat McD. I guess I will drive farther and get Wendy’s in the future if I want a burger after 9PM.
There’s no excuse for serving cold burger with cold stale fries. THAT’S what they specialize in.
I give this place a .25 of one star. and that is only because the cashier was nice.

I asked for ketchup several times and when I got back to work with my lunch I had no ketchup! The guy at the window was more concerned with telling me to «keep in touch»

This location does fine with food preparation. However, the problem here is the same at so many Whataburger locations. Lack of basic customer service skills and expectations by management. Bottom line is when a customer walks in employees should do their job and stop the idol chit chat, drop the attitude and greet customers with a smile and a hello, how may I help you! After all, that is the job they are being paid to do! So very basic! Yet, completely lost!

Just left the drive thru and this location sucks! Ordered a meal and asked for large fries and drinks for both combos. Got one large drink for one and not the other, same with the fries. Fries are soggy and on the large fry box, it wasn’t even filled up. Definitely won’t return although this location is closest to me. Now I remember why I quit coming here.
Added: I can now say something I thought I would never say… I just had the worse Whataburger ever. the bacon had a funny taste and I hope I don’t get sick later.

All time worst experience in the 38 years I’ve been eating @ Whataburger!
It is apparent they put new employees on the register who don’t know the menu. I ordered an egg sandwich & s coffee, nothing crazy. They bring out an egg biscuit. I walk it back up to the counter & ask for what I initially ordered, and Claudia (the cashier) argued with me that an egg sandwich is not on the menu. (It’s the last item on the breakfast board, not some super secret item.). I pointed it out for her, and she took the biscuit back & immediately brought out an «egg sandwich.» She had taken the egg off the biscuit & put it on an untoasted bun. At first glance, fine. Whatever. I sit down & take a bite; it’s cold AND there’s no cheese! Are u kidding?! I bring it back and point out the description& show her it’s missing the cheese. Claudia takes the sandwich & promptly brings it back. I open it to find my same cold egg, bitten into uncooked bun, and a newly slapped on cold piece of cheese. Are u kidding?!
I ask for a manager to just return my money; I’m over it. Enter Ana Perez, manager. This is what really floors me. #1, she never apologized. She literally threw $ 2.50 at me and said «thank you.» #2 she never addressed the issue. I was never rude… obviously annoyed, but still polite – there was no reason for that behavior.
I never write reviews like this, but this establishment is really disappointing. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Slowest drive-​thru I have ever been in anywhere!
With two lanes, one would think the line would move quickly and efficiently. That is not the case at this location. Not only are they slow, they have no idea what we ordered. This location is very inefficient when it comes to the drive-​thru.

I wouldnt give this place bad reviews like countless others. We all know they are probably reviews from drunkards on their way home, in the middle of the night, from one of the many clubs in downtown Houston. Alcohol impairs your ability to reason and distorts your judgment, y’all.
This Whataburger is not below or above average– just average.
Drive through was a little slow, but that’s always the case with Whataburger because they make it when you order it… right? It’s called– ‘Get on Instagram time’ duh!
Diet Cokes and Whataburgers were good, can’t go wrong with fries– I mean, they are after all FRIED!
Employees at both windows were friendly and gave us everything we asked for including extra napkins and spicy ketchup.
I won’t be back next week, but it’s nice to know this place is there when we need it!

This Whataburger tastes like any other Whataburger. Delicious. but their service is terrible. It takes them 30 min to move 4 cars through the line. They are slow. And they don’t seem to give a crap.

I’m a big fan of whataburger. In fact, it’s my favorite burger joint when I need a burger fix. But never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever visit this location.
So one Wednesday evening while on my way home from worked I stopped by this location to get a double meat burger. It’s was about 3 cars ahead of me in the drive-​thru no big deal right? Wrong! It took about 25 mins from me placing my order to me getting to the window to receive my order. Then I get to the window and the lady asked «What was your order?» Uhh shouldn’t you know??? Receive my burger and of course it felt like I was eating an igloo smh.
Never again will I ever waste 25 mins waiting on a burger again. Only positive thing about this location visit was leaving and seeing that the traffic on 45 cleared up.

No matter how many low ratings this whataburger gets, nothing will change. I come here when I’m desperate. It IS consistent in its shittiness though. You can always count on long waits, cold fries and mistakes with your order.

LAZIEST Whataburger I have ever been to. They are always out of shit, but full of excuses. Food takes forever, and they usually get the order wrong. Employees always look upset and make you feel unwelcome.
Whoever the owner of this franchise is, they need to do an episode of undercover bosses. If this establishment somehow turns things around, I will change my review.

There is absolutely nothing fast about this food. This location has horrible wait times no matter what time of day. The management here should be fired!

I really don’t eat much fast food but when I get the urge for a burger and fries and I just want to drive through and pick up, I try to keep it to Whataburger. Unfortunately this visit was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I waited in the drive through line for over 20 mins and of course they gave me the wrong food and put all toppings on a sandwich I ordered plain and dry. Definitely check your food before driving off from this place… I can’t imagine working in a drive through could be that difficult but obviously it involves more responsibility than these guys can handle.

Sunday night at 11pm. Waited 25 minutes for a burger and it was cold. So were the fries. I was polite but customers in front of me were honking. I could see inside for about 10 minutes (we didn’t pull forward at all). The staff was not hastily working. They were just meandering around not caring at all. When I finally got my order it was right, but cold cause it had probably sat for 10 minutes.

Close to my house but horrible service. Takes forEVER and my order is always wrong. I just want extra Spicy Ketchup Dammit!!!

Great place. Great milkshakes, brilliant burgers, and good fries. I moved to an area without a Whataburger or In-​N-​Out. It’s hard to get by… I’m moving to California shortly, so everything’s gonna be alright.

Slightly slow, but the orders are accurate and consistent. The staff is nice and I have not had a problem yet!

Mediocre. Nothing to rave about. It’s a burger. That’s it.
It’s nothing compared to In-​N-​Out. Mmmm…
