Good value for the same items you get at grocery and large department stores.

a bit crowded and small compared to others but still plenty of cool $ 1 prizes!

My first visit to this store. I have to say it was good. I stopped in for some batteries. Well, I spent $ 25. So many bargains. I need to return as they have decent wooden hangers priced at 3 for $ 1. I did get my batteries.

Some previous reviewers have stated«you get what you pay for» and while I absolutely understand that concept what I didn’t pay for was the horrid stench of piss every third aisle. No thank you sir, never again.

This review is for the location on Edinger & Springdale in HB. Sometimes good for produce. avocados, a variety of peppers, limes/lemons, organic tomatoes(sometimes), mangoes, peaches, nectarines, organic garbanzo beans, dog toys. And, if you need a quick pair of sunglasses, stop in here. They frequently have Target brand sunglasses.

Agree with Charles R. ya get what u pay for. I was just here the other night. The cashier girl probably forgot she was at work & that there are people around. she told another co-worker out loud, and very obnoxiously; «SHELEFTTHECARTSHERE!!!»(guess she was talking about another worker there.) That was pretty obnoxious the way she acted, once she looked over and saw me looking, I think she realized she was at work adn that people saw & haerd her. After I went to go pay, I just picked a line, and bam, when it was my turn, it was the obnoxious girl… I think she was embarassed cuz she didn’t look me in the eye.(shrugs) I dont think I’ll be coming back here. its really messy, ghetto, and yeah… I was only here b/c I went to Marshalls first and wanted to find stuff to decorate my cubicle at work for Halloween. he he

You get what you pay for here. You may find the occasional deal, but most of what they sell seems like what you should get for less than 99-cents.(That’s probably why they have«98-Cent Only» stores.) Most of the customers dress like they shop there regularly.
