It was our first time here eating dinner. It was a nice Friday evening, my beautiful girlfriend had a nice outing and decided that Italian would suit best. Driving by, we missed it cause it’s a small place right on the corner, busted a B and turned right around. Found parking right on the corner, and went inside. Once inside we found out that we order first, then deliver once seated. The food was phenomenal by all means. 10 stars if we could. They have tons of different flavors that are available and the cashier was courteous enough so let us try 6 different sauces since it was our first time. We also were informed that we could mix two different pastas and different sauces. Superb. We decided on the spicy and creamy vodka-​killer mix! The whole staff were freaking awesome and super attentive! Props to Ivan and staff!

Normally I have a good experience but today wasn’t one of those days. It was slow there and it took them a long time to take my order, the girl who helped me was pretty rude, and the patio was super dirty with plates on many of the tables

K Pasta is one of the best establishment in I.B., it is definitely a local favorite, I would say 9 times out of ten the quality of food service is excellent, There is a slight change the order may not be correct, but overall is a great place for pasta/​The Gargonzola sauce is great, I recommend the Rosemary Potatoes w aoli (Spicy) & arugula pesto. The Owner is extremely nice, and pays attention to detail extremely well, The Workers are always upbeat and cordial

K-​Pasta is back at it again with the killer food! I ordered the La Diabla Pasta with Mushroom Butter Sauce and Veggies — AMAZING! My husband ordered the Kale Pasta with Vodka Cream Sausage and the Giant Meatball — he cooed the entire time! Our friend ordered the Beet Pasta (sweet tasting) with Bacon Gargonzola Sauce, which he said really compliments each other very well.
The staff went above and beyond when we asked for coffee. We told her we love strong coffee and she brought out the French Press and let us press it. It was fantastic!!! Perfect way to end the meal.
Always an incredible experience and now they have this sweet back patio with a huge chalkboard for kids and adults to draw on. Such a delight!

Easy menu friendly staff, fresh and healthy food! Pasta made from scratch, good portions. Was not expecting the food to be so good. Will definitely come back.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it is decent but nothing special. $ 10 for noodles and sauce is a bit much in my opinion. I’m also not a huge fan of the payment processing system which makes you pay a tip when placing order.

Holy moly K-​pasta has arrived everybody lol wow what a great place for some pasta. I was heading down toward South Bay and I was just checking for Italian restaurant on ( Unilocal) and I saw this place. I thought sure why not.
I arrive and totally almost drove right past it cause it’s in a residential area. We parked went inside and were greeted right away but the awesome staff. The informed us how the menu works and there personal favorites.
After much hard thought I decided to go with the la diabla pasta with diabla sauce and vodka cream sauce with a side of meatball. Let me tell you it was heaven in my mouth. Will definitely be coming back again. Until next time

OMG OMG OMG! Sooooo delicious!
We saw a commercial with pasta and had a craving for pasta, so I immediately search the Unilocal app for pasta. This stood out and I’m soooo happy I went here!
First off, you can access their menu online, but when you come to the place, it’s all written on a huge chalkboard. Someone greets you and introduces you to the menu. They make great suggestions based on your likes. And they let you taste samples of the sauces which was just an amazing way to direct you to your flavorful dining experience!
They make their noodles with fresh ingredients and their thing is making pasta healthier using healthier ingredients. I chose the spinach noodles, which were long and so tasty. I love long noodles!!! And I paired it with the bacon Gorgonzola sauce which is simply sublime. It was so flavorful. And I added the meatball. Mmmm!
I also had the opportunity to try the vodka sauce with the super green pasta, which is made with organic kale and collard greens. It was sooo light and fresh tasting! We’re leaving tomorrow, and I just want to stop here to grab a plate before I leave! The two pastas are really some pastas I’m gonna be talking about throughout the whole year and be like «do you remember that pasta we had at imperial beach?» «Yeah! That one!!»

This place is a hidden gem ! Everything is fresh and soooo good staff is very accommodating ! They let you taste the sauce before so u can make sure you like it also u can have two different sauces on your pasta. Oh man you have to try there sausages very yummy !!!

This is the place to go to for good pasta. The customer service is really good and has friendly staff. We got our food pretty fast and it was hot. I would definitely recommend this place if your in the mood for pasta. It’s a little small and the parking is small too. It looks like a house but it has a nice outdoor dining area.

Great place for fresh pasta!!! Came here last night for some take out.
They have a really cute layout with lights and the menus are chalkboarded on the wall. Lots of variations of pasta and sauces. BONUS: they let you try the sauces!!!
So I ordered the spinach noodles with half vodka cream sausage sauce and half butter garlic and the basil chicken. My husband ordered the regular shells with half Alfredo sauce and half el Diablo aioli with a mozzarella stuffed meatball. Everything was reaaaaally delicious!!! My favorite was definitely the meatball I could’ve easily eaten like 3 of them lol.
Just a small warning, the el Diablo aioli sauce is extremely spicy!!! If you can’t handle the heat do NOT order that sauce cause my mouth was on fire just from trying one shell. Or ask to try it first!
But everyone was soooo nice and friendly. Our food took about 10 minutes and then we headed home.

It was our first time here! Food was excellent! Cute lil mellow place. Being our first time there we had questions. We walked in and right away the girl asked if we were ready. We had her questions we seemed more of a bother to her. The other workers were friendly n happy. I was so excited I even saw EN young there. That made my night!

So we come here once in a while and the food/​service is consistent. My previous review still stands, but totally time for an update.
No matter how busy they are, they’re always willing to help you when ordering and offer samples of sauces. Several noodles to choose from, served al dente with a nice bite. Sauces with all different bases and for all different tastes. Seasonal specials. Yummy desserts!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I like the feel of the restaurant. It’s casual and welcoming. I didn’t realize that K-​Pasta is a play on «Que Pasa» until the employee at the counter said it out loud. The woman who helped us order (with fabulous green hair) was amazing. She was patient and explained the different kinds of pasta and sauces, and she gave us samples of the sauces (heated up) so we could make the best choice.
I ordered la diabla pasta with la diabla sauce and angel hair with mushroom butter. The diabla sauce was really spicy and I usually can take spice. It was an interesting flavor but I wouldn’t get it again. The mushroom butter sauce was really good. However, my noodles were all stuck together like a pancake, so I had to cut it apart with my fork.
My boyfriend ordered la diabla pasta (not very spicy) with vodka cream sauce and shells with bacon gorgonzola. The bacon gorgonzola sauce was a bit odd. It reminded me of potato soup instead of pasta sauce. The shells were also a bad choice. Get one of the other types of pasta instead.
Although I thought the portions were small, I left feeling satisfied. I was hungry again soon after though.
This may sound like a rather negative review, but I did thoroughly enjoy it. I love the choices. It seemed like food that you could get at an upscale restaurant, but it was at the edge of a residential neighborhood in a converted house.

The sauces. Oh my gahd, all the glorious SAUCES!
Needless to say everything was spectacular, even the desserts! The tables outside on the patio have a chalkboard top and they supply an endless amount of fun. This place has a lot going for it.
I’ve been here on many occasions however, is it just me or is the pasta just a little too «al dente»? Either way that Diablo sauce and giant stuffed mozzarella meatball has me coming back for more.

First time here, and the only thing I have regrets on, is not having come sooner. This is exactly what I look for in an establishment, great customer service, delicious food, dessert and affordable. What more do you want?
If your a fan of Farm to Table quality food, you’ll really enjoy this place. Enjoy.

Good service and great selection of sauces and pasta noodles. I ordered the spinach noodles with marinara and alfredo sauce. The meal was enjoyable, but it was just good and nothing more. There weren’t any distinct flavored or anything that made me think the meal was great (4 stars).
I will return if I get a pasta craving because the concept is there, and hopefully with time the food will advance to «greatness.»

I just got home from this amazing place and I’m for sure going to have sweet dreams with this pasta and that bacon Gorgonzola sauce!!!
This was my first time and I can see myself driving here more often.
As soon as you walk in you get that homey feeling and all warm and fuzzy.
The menu is simple and yet complete.
I feel like you have choices and you are the boss of your own pasta!!!
I tried the spinach pasta with a bacon Gorgonzola cream sauce and pumpkin pasta with garlic butter sauce. Loved them both.
The pasta dishes come with a side salad and garlic bread and at a very fair price!
I couldn’t finish my dinner, so I couldn’t get my hands on a tres leches bread pudding that was winking at me since the moment I set foot in that place.
This place has the friendliest service and they go out of their way to make sure you are content with your visit and food.
I’m already planning my next visit!

$ 8.95 make your own pasta. You can even do two types of pasta and two types of sauces if you want to go all crazy. Fresh pasta and mouthwatering dessert to choose from. Why don’t they have more of these closer to me? Located in imperial beach off the main drag of Palm Ave tucked away and seems like your aunt’s house that you are visiting for dinner. Place is quint but has seating for many. People are friendly and helpful especially if its your first time and are in awe of the menu. Plus they offer samples of the pasta and/​or sauce to better equip your decision.
At this visit i enjoyed spaghetti with bacon gorgonzola sauce and angel hair with garlic butter sauce. Get it. Both are creamy and comes with salad and a piece of garlic toast. More then enough for $ 8.95 plus you get a variety of things. Filling, hearty, and yes i was full. I also enjoyed their mango coconut bread pudding. For $ 4.75 this piece of heaven was not only too much but also had enough sweetness to balance the pasta.
Tip: Go early and get more options for dessert and check in for daily specials. On Thursdays, they have lasagna.
