This DQ is terrible!!! The employees don’t want to be there and close up early and are rude.

This DQ is conveniently located in my neighborhood, within biking or walking distance. My daughter and I stopped in last weekend, and the person at the counter had such a great attitude it made me smile. He caught her perusing the menu and looking stumped as to which Blizzard she’d like, so he politely suggested the Oreo. Done deal, make it a Mint! I was excited to try an Orange Julius, my favorite treat as a child. We sat together on the concrete picnic tables in the patio area and soaked in the sun while the final hours of our weekend slipped away, enjoying every sweet sip.

This Dairy Queen is one of those«mostly drive-thru» ones. In the summer, you can walk up to the window & order tasty treats. In the winter… well, I’m sure you could do the exact same thing. I like to frequent the drive thru here. I also like that crazy blue bandana wearing girl that pops up every time I check in here. They make good oreo milkshakes here, but not consistently. They don’t ask me if I want whipped cream on the shake. Sometimes it’s on there, sometimes it’s not. I feel like I like it being up to them. It’s a special treat if they add it. If not, I probably didn’t need those extra calories anyway. A couple weeks ago, I drove by & they had a deal: Buy 6 Dilly Bars, Get 8 Free. Seems like an odd combination of dilly bars to buy, then get for free, but they had a professional looking sign, so I took them up on it. My husband and I have been eating chocolate covered dilly bars after dinner every night for a week.
