J Todd Campi DDS

I only go to Todd Campi’s dentist office because it is in network for insurance, and I don’t have many options. I think the hygienists do a good job cleaning my teeth, and I do think it is an alright place to go, hence the three star rating. They are extremely difficult to get into, and you will need several months advance notice to get an appointment.
I almost gave four stars, but I decided to detract a star because I feel like they try really hard to sell me things. A very expensive toothbrush for one, and also, Dr. Campi made it a point during my first visit to point out all of the cosmetic «problems» with my teeth. This included my gappy front teeth, a tooth that was turned slightly at an angle, etc. I have never had a dentist do this before. I would have really preferred if he asked me something like «Does the gap in your teeth bother you?» and then let me answer «No» and then move on. Instead, he spent several minutes talking about how he would like to fix the «issues» with invisalign. It felt too much like a sales pitch, and who likes all of their dental imperfections brought up when they are a new patient?
I will still continue to go here, but again, mainly due to limited options through insurance.

Its the dentist, and I don’t know anyone who would be excited about being here. But despite what this place is, they’re fantastic. The staff is very friendly and really strive to learn not only patients by name but a little about them as well. They really care about you and the health of your mouth. I’d recommend them to anyone!

It is hard to write a super excited review because um… it’s a dentist! Who gets really excited about going to the dentist?
But let me just tell you that this office definitely earns 5 stars in my book. I discovered them when I moved to the West Side after browsing through lots of different reviews, websites, etc. trying to find one that seemed legit and took my insurance.
That search led me here. Dr. Campi is very personable and his staff is great! Very welcoming and they know what they are doing. I don’t know if I can say enough about this staff. They have been so accommodating with me when my work schedule kept changing on me and were just wonderful to me the week of my wedding when I wanted to get in. They also got me an awesome deal on a swanky electric toothbrush and refill heads, it is so much better than my old manual way. The staff is so friendly and seem like they honestly appreciate working there. They have also barely ever kept me waiting for an appointment which is super helpful when you’re busy.
This location is a bit hidden if you aren’t looking for the sign, it is a small building off of Crawfordsville so just be on alert for their sign if you are looking for the entrance to their parking lot.
