Not the best phở but still delicious! Come here often, esp on a cold, blistery day!

I have been many times and will go many times again.
The wonton soup and goi rolls are excellent healthy choices for a light meal.
I also LOVE the soft noodles and rice noodle combination… this place is really worth the trip I make from Downtown Indianapolis.
If you need a pick-​me-​up, try the iced coffee… it will knock your socks off!

My favorite place for beef and broccoli and crab ran goons (sp). But I think they have closed or are changing the name or something. Been by several times in the last month, never open. It also looks like construction going on inside. A help wanted sign us up.

Favorite phở ever. We get it to go, so the décor doesn’t matter to me. We have loved everything we have ever had!

This is still my favorite place to get Phở. I’m not Vietnamese, so I don’t know if it’s authentic Vietnamese food, but I know I love eating tasty food.
I do wish that they would update their décor!

For many years my wife and I have eaten at Sizzling Wok. Mom and Dad run the place and the cook is a long time employee. The décor has suffered as of late but the food is still good with fresh and tasty ingredients. Their Chinese combo plates are generous and the Phở is divine.
My wife likes the goi rolls, I usually have Bun Thit with beef combo (Rice noodle combination) which comes with a deep fried spring roll.

This place has both a Chinese and Vietnamese menu. The Chinese menu has some lunch specials that give you a large amount of food for a good price but if you’re coming to Sizzling Wok, I’d recommend you stick to the Vietnamese menu.
A friend and I went for lunch. The service was fast. It did take us a while to get our check at the end but we just went up to pay at the register and it was no problem. I ordered the Phở Special and he ordered the Red Curry. Both of us were very pleased with our meals and total we spent less than $ 20 for lunch. I’ll definitely be going back!

This is a great little Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant! Especially if your looking for the Phở noodle soup. I’ve tried several different places in town but none come close in authenticity than this place! Soup broth has beef tendon, fat, tripe, beef slices, and meat balls. The soup comes with sides of bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and Thai basil as garnishes.
Service is great and the little old man always greets you with a smile when ordering!

I am vietnamese. We have placed to-​go orders here before and eaten in but it’s been years since we have eaten there. My review is in hopes that nobody who eats here thinks this is real vietnamese food. It is commercialized low class restaurant quality «asian» food. Not authentic in taste to anything vietnamese or chinese. Their main ingredient is msg and gives me a belly ache every time I eat there. I am just apalled that I saw people give this place 4 or 5 stars… I would give it zero if I could.

Went for a late-​lunch/​early-​supper, and was the only customer. Papa-​san was running the front counter. I was in the mood for Bun with chicken. It wasn’t on the menu, but Papa-​san and the cook were kind enough to make it anyway, and not charge me any extra.
The appetizer goi rolls were pretty good.
The décor here is getting kind of tired. It’s in need of redecorating or at least painting. But the food was worth the trip down from Park 100.

2.5 stars. I came here for the Vietnamese food. When I found this place, it looked like it use to be a Mexican joint and as I stepped foot into the establishment it made me feel like it definitely use to be a Mexican restaurant. They redid the place but the sectioning in the middle tells me it was once Mexican fast food. The place is split so there is a quick order and a sit down. I first thought you had to order and then sit down but the owner lady said I could take the menu and sit wherever I liked. I ordered the shrimp sour soup and the well done beef phở. The lady was attentive when she took my order but it took over 20 minutes to serve me my food. I was the only sit down at the time with a few to go orders. I was kind of peeved cuz when I go to eat phở in Cali, it takes less than 5 minutes to serve the food. There isn’t much to phở and soup, usually just base that is premade and the noodles take 5 seconds in hot water. I later realized why it took so long for the food to come out, it was because it’s just her and the husband I think and usually people do not order Vietnamese dishes. Another couple of guys came in and ordered Chinese and their food came pretty promptly, considering it was the usual American Chinese stuff (not really legit Chinese food).
So the soup came first and it’s suppose to be served in a fire pot, which it was but there was no «fire» under the pot. That disappointed me a little bit, I was expecting some bubbling hot goodness. I started on the soup and waited for the phở. The phở finally came when I was halfway finished with the soup. The phở itself was ok, couple slices of beef, with the usual sides of bean sprouts, limes, jalapeño peppers. The noodle was firm but the soup wasn’t anything special to me, portions were on the smaller side too. I also was staring at the sriracha sauce, which I usually add a lot of to the phở did not look right. It seemed like it was sitting for a very long time and the color was off, consistency wasn’t right but I added it anyway. Big mistake, I think that’s what gave me the weird sensation of wanting to vomit after I ate. I came back to my hotel with a gurgling stomach and my poor stomach was not happy. I am going to blame it on the sriracha sauce because I really don’t want to believe it was the food. I have had better and I do not know if I will come back to the establishment to risk another painful aftermath.

This place is easy to miss. It’s on Michigan road surrounded by a bunch of fast food chains. But, the food is great. Wonderful phở, excellent Vietnamese salad and spring rolls. The food was better than another more pricey Vietnamese restaurant I have tried and I hope more people will frequent this awesome «hole in the wall». Don’t order off the Chinese menu. It’s the Vietnamese food that is really great here.
