Food was great, especially the Mac and Cheese and the variety of tacos. Great service too! Great bar also.

I usually love yard house! I visit them in every city But this was a terrible experience. I ordered take out and it took almost 15 minutes to order 2 things because the lady taking my order would not understand a simple switch. Then when I got home the food was still wrong! I ordered a bbq gardien chicken salad and wanted buffalo wings instead. I’ve done this before. Never been an issue. She repeated my order multiple times but still sent bland unseasoned strips with sauce on the side. Then the Mac n cheese was pretty much dry noodles! No cheese no mushrooms. It was a sad Mac n cheese…

Having been in the bar industry in Indianapolis for a few years, I was really impressed with their beer selection. They have the best chocolate porter from Denver on tap. I can’t remember the name but it was awesome! The margarita flatbread was on point as well. Service was a bit flow but still good.

Hands down, the best BBQ«chicken»(veggie style) salad was found in a steakhouse packed city at the Yard House. Add a Green Flash IPA(a tough choice given their huge beer selection), plus excellent service, and you’re in for a delicious treat.

Always a pleasant experience all around at Yard House. Had some family visiting from out of town with dietary restrictions. They offer a variety of gluten free options. There was a slight mixup with one entrée order. The server didn’t quite expect a small child to have a gluten allergy. Tacos from the gluten free menu were ordered for him, and instead, the kids menu option was brought out. The staff was very apologetic and quick to solve to problem; bringing out the corrected order. Unfortunately, they had run out of Gumball Head, so I tried the Quaf Strawberry Blonde instead. It was that fruity/citrus flavor I was looking for in a beer without leaning toward the sour side. Having tried verious menu items previously, I decided to keep mixing it up and order a burger. At the advice of our server, I chose the Pepper Jack. Again, I was not disappointed with my selection. Not knowing what to expect, I was impressed when it appeared on the table in front of me. Not only was it grilled to perfection, there is a WHOLE pepper grilled and layered on the burger like a slice of lettuce! And to top it off the melty pepper jack cheese and Chipotle mayo! I opted to keep it light with fruit as my side. Fresh strawberries, pineapple, and cantaloupe rounded out my meal.

This review is strictly based off my meal selection Ok… So… I’ve been here numerous times, always great food and a wide selection of beer, but today… I tried the Cuban Roast Pork Dip Sandwich. I’m not a huge pork eater other than bacon, so the flavor was a little off for me. If it was beef brisket or pulled chicken I may have enjoyed it more. This review is dedicated to the mojo sauce that comes with the sandwich. Good Lord! I wanted to just pick the bowl up and drink the sauce, but didn’t want to look like a crazy person! I’ll definitely be back if not for the mojo sauce alone. The four stars is only because they don’t bottle and sell this stuff.

Ok. Just ok. Food: 3⁄5 It’s ok. Just ok. Not worth the wait. Also, I ordered Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat and they did not garnish it. Half ass. Unacceptable. Other bars like The Tap garnish. Truth is, dropping a Blueberry to finish the drink shows you care about quality. The food defiantly didn’t taste like quality. Service: 2⁄5 One Pint of beer took at least 10 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all on a Thursday at 2:30PM. Food took too long considering the restaurant was not busy at all. Server was very nice & very helpful. Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Awesome! Wine room. Beer runs from the brewery on site up on the ceiling to the bar! Never seen this before. The restaurant is very clean and modern. Staff Hotness: 1⁄5 Hostess was very attractive, but that was it. :-/ OVERALL: 3⁄5 Cool atmosphere with over a hundred beers, cool glass, awesome atmosphere. But it ends there. The food is ok. That is a deal breaker. The wait time was too long for a very slow day. Definitely not worth coming back.

Holy crap! You have got to go here! The food is FANTASTIC! My friends and I went here for my birthday and we were so impressed. I got the Cobb salad with skirt steak, my friends got the Maui chicken and the penne chicken pasta. All delicious. I would eat here every day if I could. The pomegranate margarita was really good too! Good and strong! Service was good as well!

I love this place! The beer lover will think they have died and gone to heaven upon walking into Yard House. They have three pages of beer on the menu! They are all well organized by style so that even the novice beer drinker can easily choose based on taste profile. They also have rotating seasonals of craft deliciousness. One might be concerned with beer quality with such a large selection. However, don’t fret my lushes, they maintain the kegs and tap lines very well at Yard House. The beer has always tasted as fresh and clean as it should. Aside from the beer, the food is fantastic. As with the beer, there is a wide selection of appetizers and entrees ranging from typical bar food, to salads, to street tacos, to a steak. I have eaten here several times, and have yet to be disappointed. The vampire tacos are my favorite — spicy carnitas, chorizo bacon, and wrapped in a cheese fried tortilla. They are sinfully good. Again, as with the beer, the food is very well maintained for such a large menu. Next time you’re in downtown Indy, swing by for a beer, dinner, or both.

Good food, good atmosphere and great service. The menu food & beer are both huge. I will definitely return again. The only negative, which was not a huge deal, it seemed to take a little longer than expected to get the food out. Not a big deal though.

First visit here and I think I’ll probably be going back. It’s a very nice after work bar or just a nicer evening bar to hang out with friends. The service was nice and the menu was huuugggeee ! We started with the truffle fries, very good and I’d probably get them again. Due to the menu being so giant it was really hard to actually decide on anything. I ended up with the spicy Thai pizza. It was good, but probably wouldn’t get it again. The teriyaki sauce was a bit much on the bottom. But all in all a nice place and can’t wait to try something else on their menu.

Great food, a long list of beers on tap, and plenty of tvs make this a great place for watching sports and hanging out with friends. I ended up with the Weihenstephan beer, which I love and it’s even better on tap. My friend and I split the truffle fries, which were great, but I wished they offered a dipping sauce for them other than just ketchup, I ate them plain and they were so good, don’t ruin them with ketchup! I had a hard time deciding what to order since everything looked amazing, but I decided to go with the grilled cheese after seeing some of the pictures on Unilocal. This is NOT an ordinary grilled cheese, this is a grilled cheese on crack! It came with roasted tomato, cheddar, gorgonzola, swiss, fontina cheeses and I added bacon and avocado all melted into this crispy, thick bread. I paired it with the organic tomato soup for pure comfort food perfection, sooo good! Unfortunately, I had no room for dessert, but the S’more Brownie is on my list of things to try next time! The restaurant is quite large and offers plenty of booths, tables, and bar seating. It is pretty noisy, but that is to be expected when you have that many people in one place. If you have a large group this place is perfect as they have several areas that can accommodate.

After my post-Christmas company party at the Le Meridian, the hubs, I and some of my work friends went around the corner to grab a night cap and a midnight snack. For a Saturday at midnight, the Yard House made for a great spot for our mini after-party. The vibe here is an interesting mix of night club/pub themes. The whole restaurateur is one large space with unfinished ceilings. It’s pretty dark inside, with the acception of some table spots and neon lighting. The seating is a mix of booths, tall tables and a large, four-sided bar with a HUGE selection of beers on tap. Our group ordered some appetizers and beers. I had some of the truffle fries, which were awesome, and Rob really liked their boneless buffalo wings. For a Saturday night, the place was pretty dead. I was surprised to see most of the seats empty. Made me feel like we were in for some bad food or service, but we had neither. No reservations needed, even for groups. For the 21+ crowd, add this to your hit list for last call.

We got a coupon from Yard House in the mail, which was enticing enough to try the new restaurant in downtown Indy! Though there was a mixup with my chicken and rice bowl entrée, which was absolutely delicious, they made up for it by offering us free dessert. We tried the brownie with caramel ice cream, with a 15 minute wait for them to make it fresh. It came out in about ten minutes and was just the right amount of chocolatey, caramely, warm and gooey you’d expect in a fresh brownie. My only complaint is that the prices are a little too high for my liking. We didn’t get to use our coupon because the total wasn’t enough, but will use it next time we go!

Yard House is a reliable chain for beer, brews, and more beers. With over one hundred beers on draft, take the 100-beer dash challenge at Yard House and see how many brews you can try in 100 minutes. Got Beer? Oh, yeah, Yard House has got beer. Weiss to Dark. Light to Strong. Hoppy to Floral. Local to Belgian. Ales to Cider. It’ll take you a lot longer to choose a beer than to actually drink it. Try a sampler if you aren’t sure or go all-in with a half-yard of your favorite. If you you really can’t choose, just trust the bartender cause ours was like the Beer Whisperer of Indianapolis with her recommendations including a Belgian Tripel, a local IPA, and then back to a couple Tripels to end the night … and my sobriety. For munchies, I split a Queso Dip with Bacon Chorizo that sounded much more awesome than it tasted. Of course, a couple beers in and everything sounds, looks, and tastes better than they probably are. Not sure why I ate all the mediocre Queso Dip, but I’ll chalk it up to Beer Goggles. As Yard House closed at 11:00 p.m., my liver and I headed out buzzed and in search of our next Indyventure. Cheers.

We had a really great experience here! By visiting a little before 6:00 one Friday night, we were able to order off the happy hour menu. Yay for savings! Here’s what we ordered: –chicken lettuce wraps — fantastic! –vampire taco — good but not worth the cost. –pig candy — good, but easy to make at home, so probably wouldn’t order again. –sliders — very good, perfectly cooked, lots of flavor. Ask for some sauces and see what you get. Our server was really good and brought out a lemon siracha aioli, maple bacon dip, and honey mustard. Way more fun than just ketchup! –pumpkin mule(seasonal cocktail) — very good and well-balanced. –salted watermelon margarita — okay, a bit sweet. –strawberry fields martini — good, would be a perfect dessert cocktail. Looking forward to another visit and trying more from the large menu!

When I think of Yard House, I think of beer. You can see their dozens of taps from across the restaurant. This visit, however, I decided to try out their food and cocktails. Their holiday menu was still going, so I decided to try out the Rum Pumpkin Mule, which tasted very much in the spirit of the holidays because of the spices added to it. I was very impressed. Next I tried a few food items, most of them off the happy hour menu since it was still a few minutes before 6pm. First were the lettuce wraps, which came with three delicious sauces that worked very well together. Second, a vampire taco, which had a nice crust of cheese on the outside of the shell, but mostly just tasted like overpriced guacamole. Third, I ordered the pig candy, which is a jar of candied bacon and jerky. Again, it tasted good but seemed a little overpriced. Finally, I tried the sliders and fries. The sliders had nice soft buns and we were able to get a few different sauces to dip our fries into. My favorite was the garlic aioli! For dessert, I tried the watermelon margarita, which was way too sweet for me but still had a nice watermelon flavor. I was very impressed with Yard House’s non-beer options, and will definitely be coming back.

I’ve been waiting so long to try this place and mad that it’s taken me so long because I could’ve been there 5 times by now. Needless to say that I can’t wait to go back. Some friends and I went during happy hour which is 3−6pm. The portions of the appetizers were so big that you can easily share with a group of people. The service was good but once the staff was gone, they were OUT! Drinks were good. A friend had to have her friend remade but that wasn’t an issue. I shall return.

My experience was one of the 4 star kind… if they would have gotten my steak right the first time. It was just me and I sat up at the bar. There was a big screen TV with the Cubs game, 156 beers on tap, and pleasant, non-imposing, bar tenders. All was good… I ordered a Hoegarden draft and a filet, medium rare. The filet came out and was well done… not an ounce of pink in the center… very far away from medium rare. I hesitated to send it back, but after all, it is filet… for $ 30, it needs to be right. After informing the bartender, and sending it back to the kitchen, the manager quickly came out and apologized. She agreed that is was overcooked and offered me a free brew while I waited for the new cut. The correctly cooked steak was fantastic. Cooked pefectly and atop a delicious peppercorn cream sauce. I greatly enjoyed it. BOTTOMLINE: Fantastic steak at a good value… but make sure it’s cooked right!
