This place is a hot mess. First. you can’t believe the recommendations from the receptionist. If you ask to be given someone who knows how to blow out curly hair, she’ll just give you someone whomever is available, regardless whether they can do the job or not. I’ve had three different stylists here (I keep trying thinking I’ll find someone acceptable… so far, not the case). If I had to rank them for blow outs for curly hair, Sylvia is definitely the best of the three, Cynthia is mediocre, and Olivia’s was a mess. For a salon surrounded by high end communities, they really need to up their game. Definitely not worth the price or the aggravation. Go elsewhere.

I love coming to Hair Masters. I have a very busy schedule, so I can always get in when I need a haircut. They are not pushy like some salons in trying to sell more services/products.

Accompanied a lady friend here. What a disaster. The rates quoted on the phone were low but a «Master» experienced hair person is apparently more for each service. The 3 customers while we were there only spoke English, but the hairdressers spoke Spanish loudly between themselves the whole time we were there. Incredibly rude and uncomfortable. Master hairdresser apparently didn’t speak English well and pretended she did. She was sloppy and messed up color (went fast and left blobs of color when done) and cut was different than requested even though explanation of what was wanted was repeated. Don’t be fooled by the location — unless you speak Spanish fluently and are willing to be quite pushy about directing the hairdresser go elsewhere.

I was a «walk-in» appointment for root touch-up and a trim.
They were able to see me, were very friendly and did an excellent job, with an excellent price.
I will definitely be back again!
