Great place to dinner took family there service was great food was outstanding and way more than enough and the price is right. Will be going back there again!

Just left Jackalope Ranch after waiting 25min for someone to serve us. No one acknowledge us in the bar lounge didn’t even ask us for drinks. Decided to leave after another party came in and they got attended before us.

I am only giving one star because I have to. This place is a joke. Don’t waste your money or time! Owner is a tool. No wonder his Mediterranean restaurant Figue failed miserably.

Came here for Valentines Day! People were so friendly and nice! My husband had the ribs that were delicious. I had the 14oz ribeye! So tender and cooked perfectly! Will definitely come back!

Started with getting out of the car to a red carpet, greeted with a complimentary champagne at the door, beautiful photo backdrop, followed up with a special v-​day menu that had something for everyone… First class team Jackalope… Thanks!

First stop for lunch on way to Palm Springs for a 3 day weekend on recommendation from friends who have dined here. Sat on the patio and the view is outstanding! Teena offered excellent service and we enjoyed the margaritas and nachos — held up well to our Texas standards. Go! Enjoy! Relax!

What a disappointing and embarrassing experience. Our group of 11 had a table on the patio and the atmosphere was unique and beautiful. Unfortunately the night went down from there. Although the drinks came promptly and profusely the food took forever and even when it was delivered several in our party did not get the right thing. Tried some of my husband’s BBQ, it was good but I had the carne asada salad and the meat was cold and bland.
One member of our group had too many drinks and although he was a little loud and chatty with the servers it did not seem to be a problem. As we were finishing our dinner the floor manager approached our table and very rudely announced that we were all cut off. He then left us to pay our bill, the server hustled us to settle up without ever asking if we wanted anything else. When we lingered they sent a «bouncer» to ask us to leave. It was unprofessional and embarrassing to our group which included restaurant owners, local business people, and repeat visitors from out of town. I will not return to Jackalope or recommend it to any visitors to the Palm Springs Area.

If not for the bartender this place would get 0 star… Brittney deserved 4. Food was not even mediocre. Bathroom dirty. Won’t recommend nor return. Update: became ill after leaving restaurant. Not because of alcohol, and not from a previous meal. Good thing wine us ½ price… even at that bill was fifty. We did tip 15%.

Disappointed too many changes !! Waitress was great. The menu changed in the last six months. Happy hour not the same. Drinks were good, food not so good. Not as busy as it used to be. Staff was working hard ! The band is great good to see they were still here
This is the height of the season. Hate to see the summer for the year rounders.

Wow! Someone told my friends and I that the Jackelope was much better this year than in previous seasons. Two couples and myself went to the Jackelope during happy hour tonight and sat in the bar. It took us 45 minutes to get drinks from the bar, even though a Diet Coke and some water was brought to the table within five or so minutes. We all ordered our food at the same time as our drinks, but no food came to the table for over an hour. When it did arrive they had omitted my order completely. When they realized their mistake, they went back to the kitchen for my order only to bring me the wrong thing two different times over the next 30 minutes. During this chaos, my friend said to the bar manager «you need more people behind that bar.» To which the bar manager replied, «Well thank you sir. I wouldn’t have known that if you hadn’t told me!» RUDE!!!
By the end of our very interesting experience, I had my food brought to me in a box to go because everyone at my table was finished eating. And when I got home to eat it, it was a mess, dry, and tasteless.
At the end, they offered to comp my meal. My friends were so upset however over the ridiculously long wait, that they demanded the whole table be comped, (no one, however, was RUDE to the staff!) and the manager we spoke to agreed.
What a nightmare! I’m pretty sure this is our last try at dinner out at Jackalope Ranch.

The desk clerk at our resort recommended this place for BBQ and since it was close, we were hungry for BBQ we decided to try it. It’s a huge place and I do mean huge. We got there at an off time so sat in the bar at a booth which was fine. Several TVs for the sports person in the group and a huge selection of specialty drinks.
When I checked in on Unilocal it came up with a 10% off coupon for dinner, the server said no problem we could use it at lunch. Nice touch which we appreciated.
I ordered beef ribs which I so love and you can never get and my husband ordered a half rack of pork ribs. Huge portions, we both took some home, yummy sauce which I promptly got all over my white shirt; and all came on top of a really good cole slaw. Also came with a side of fries which neither of us cared for since they were seasoned with a sort of odd tasting seasoning.
Service was very nice and we appreciated that our server made sure we had plenty of paper napkins and when she boxed up our to go left over stuff, she included those. At the end of the meal we were given a wet towel to clean up with, perfect.

I’ve been here a few times for happy hour on the patio with my family and then came for dinner this weekend. I’ve never had a bad experience here the food has always been delicious and the building is beautiful.

Outstanding and memorable building design, in/​out. Memorable, for sure. It’s huge, and has a lot of wonderful things about it. Including, but not limited, a huge bar and patio; live music; and tremendous happy hour. While all of this is worthy, I was unimpressed with the food.

Thank you for a good meal and attentive staff. Portions are good size and lots of variety on the menu made sure there was something for everyone.
I really liked the atmosphere and was amazed that some one actually was able to capture and stuff some of the wild and ever so elusive Jackalopes of the West. It defiantly added to the ambiance.
We will defiantly be back.

Went with a group so they put us in a room with nice fireplace (evening fireplace wasn’t on). The service was the worst and they were not busy (now we know why). Red wine served ice cold. they did make it right…
I had the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The filet was so dry and tasteless and if you can believe this nothing on the potatoes. Would have been ok or at least better if they have some garlic seasoning or something. They said «thats the way they serve them»! My husband had fettuccine alfredo and very dry. There wasn’t a spot of sauce to be seen.
If you wanted more water… good luck. They were not checkingng to see if we needed anything. Not bread ever offered. Really the worst dinner and not inexpensive.
I am taking the time to Unilocal them because people need to be warned.

Back for lunch. Great prime rib sandwich with fries along with a wedge!

Jackalope Ranch is a great place to go and enjoy happy hour. Seven big screens surround the bar and country music playing in background. It was busy today and one bartendress. Poor Mae, she was running like crazy but was stepping up to the plate. Karmen showed up later.
Had the nachos, good, but huge chunks chicken breast. Larger than the chips themselves. They were good. Had a nice cold amberbock at 31.0 degrees. And Bön a whiskey and Coke. Always enjoy this place for being so relaxing this early, 4 pm. Live music starting at 4 pm.
Come on in, have a drink, chow on some grub and relax.

Oh Jackalope, there really is no reason why you shouldn’t be a 5 star restaurant! Your location is everything! Your bar is great, however the majority of your food and wait staff sucks!!! Trust me I’ll go into detail…
Atmosphere: 5 stars! This place is spectacular, breath taking! If you want to visually impress someone take them here, the grounds are gorgeous and the interior design is on point! Fabulous indoor and outdoor bar.
Bar /​Drinks: 5 stars. The bartenders inside and out are great. Friendly and they make a good drink. I’d highly recommend their indoor bar, shows the temp of the bar and like I said great drinks. I’m a huge fan of the Paloma and the «green» margarita (for the life of me I can’t remember the name right now).
Food: 2 stars! Besides the calamari appetizer everything here sucks! Sorry to say but the «amazing wow factor» stops at the view and drinks. Every food dish I’ve ever gotten here has been «meh». Not worth the price tag attached either. My whole party felt the same way.
Wait staff: 2 stars. The two times we’ve dined in the restaurant booth area our waitresses have been a total disappointment. We had one that literally messed up almost everything we told her and another whom would check on us once every 20 minutes! Ridiculous. The wait for food is just too long, 40 minutes to get our order when the place was like a ghost town on a Tuesday. Crazy to me.
I’d really like to acknowledge this place for what it is, a great view and a great bar. For the bar I’ll gladly come back. Just don’t expect me to dish out $ 50 for a crappy meal.
