we went here on a saturday night (we were 100% sober too) & the manager didnt allow us to order from the 24 hour drive through because we werent in our car. i’ve done that a million times at a bunch of places & other locations & it was fine. the manager is a dickhead. i’ll never come here ever again. the customer is always right, even when the manager is on her period.

If you eat here, your gonna have Diabetes and Wilford Grimley will be your annoying best friend. And if you get diabetes they cut off your feet, that sucks! I dunno why, U are already fat, easily aroused, and probably alone except when Wilford Grimley is around bitching at you about Mexicans. I dunno which os worse. lHaving No feet or listening to Wilford Grimley’s talking about the «final solution» all night… Geez, get a life WG.

Great service from Jesse. Very quick and friendly service. This is the one to visit if you live in Irvine.

Very seldom had I ever gone to a Jack in the Box. The last time was approximately 12 years ago when I lived in Hollywood Hills. I’ve been going to a lot of higher-​end restaurants, believing the food and service would match the price, but I find myself being extremely disappointed in quality of both food and service.
Lately, I’ve been limiting going to restaurants and instead, cooking at home. A lot of my buddies tend to go to fast food type places and tell me how that food is better than a lot of «higher-​end» restaurants. I had trouble believing such a statement. Being burned-​out with higher-​end restaurants, I decided to go to Jack in the Box. For some really odd reason, I was craving food from this place.
A few weeks ago, I came to this location and ordered the sour dough Jack with no mayo and no tomato. I also ordered an egg roll. I could not believe how good the food tasted. What impressed me even more was the exceptional service. Everyone at this location was so nice. I don’t recall customer service at fast food type places being as exceptional as it has been at this location… other than Chick fil A. Chick fil A is well known for their superior customer service and manners. I swear Jack in the Box is a clone of Chick fil A when it comes to that.
What shocks me more is that I find the service at this fast food establishment to be more professional and pleasant than the service I have received at many higher-​end restaurants.
Definitely a fan of this place!

I haven’t been to a Jack In the Box in over 10 years — I tried this one a few days ago, and it was super good and tasty!
The fries were tasty and the burger was great. The bacon on my burger was really good!
After 10 years — I’m gonna come back more and more!

Food is okay. What gets me, I often drive-​thru to get a soda. 1 in 4 visits they get it wrong. If I forget to check, I have to throw the whole large soda away so the sugar doesn’t put me in diabetic shock. They’ve probably stolen more than $ 50 in bum-​sodas this year. New years resolution; never come to this store again.

16 mins for 2 tacos. My work lunch was waiting for my nasty food and the. My order was wrong

Its jack in the box folks nothing fancy here the quality is consistent you get what you pay for, one of my more liked fast food places to go to.

Came here late at night, long line of cars so we went inside. They lady was taking all the car orders while adressing ours. She didn’t rush us, and was super nice all the til the end for it. Thank you lady! Will be back for more late night hungers!

Every time I have done a drive through they manage to mess up the order and yes this review is shorter than most. I mean what can I say about a place that can’t manage to get a 3 item order right. Unilocal wants to keep this as a tip because it’s too short so I’m just going to write about that. Lol. Here’s your «tip» dodge this place.

If you are reading this review, you’re probably deciding where to go in this area for a quick lunch substitute before your next class at IVC. I have been in irvine for the past 4 years and nothing else has made me feel so full, satisfied, and imminent of cardiac arrest in the last 4 years.
If you are like me, you have 3 options: IVC cafeteria, MC donalds, and jack in the box.
And if you are like me, you know not to take the school cafeteria and that you have 2 options left within a 5 min drive, but only one of them does not take 30 min to find parking space in. That would be jack in the box.
Now after trying almost every option on their menu every tues/​thursday night for the past year, I would recommend without a doubt to take the meatlovers burrito with a medium order of fries instead of hash browns
This is the one meal that will simultaneously make you feel full and that heart attacks are imminent in the near future

My son got severe food poisoning from this location after eating a breakfast sandwich. Be careful!

I have only been to this Jack in the box once… last week.
I was dying to try the new Buttery Jack. I ordered the Classic, and I was really not impressed at all. I didnt taste any garlic or butter. It had too much of the creamy tomato sauce, which doesnt quite fit with this burger at all.
The drive thru was quick… and the food seemed fresh and decent, I just didnt care for the burger at all.
It seems like this drive thru can get busy during the lunch hour.

I love Jack in the Box. I can never turn down a burger with cheese. Their sandwiches have always been a good balance of protein and toppings. Shakes are thick and delicious. And the service at this location is fantastic. The employees are easily the best in the fast food segment. Every time I visit this location I am absolutely blown away with the way they executive their job. The tone, attitude, and delivery is perfect. I have been in the industry for 10+ years. I’ve been a restaurant manager and I have a degree in hospitality and I cannot express how happy I am with their service every time I drive away.

I hate Jack in the Box.
Every order I have ever placed, they have managed to «Jack» every one of them up! I just don’t understand. Whether it’s missing items from the bag, giving me completely wrong orders, or giving me an attitude for being there, they never seem to fail. I always tell myself I will never return, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or starve.
Hubby placed an order for TWO ORDERS of tacos, which in JITB terms means FOUR tacos, large curly fries, chicken strips and a large diet coke. Of course, an order of tacos were missing and rather than curly, there were regular fries. Not that big of a deal but it can be annoying after the 187^th time.

I have never been to Jack in the Box before. Not even the one near UCI, when I was a student there. But wow, I am impressed.
Fries — yum.
Vanilla & chocolate shake — yum.
Crispy Chicken Sandwich — yum. Now I need to recreate this. Give me your recipe pleaze.
It’s a bit difficult finding this location though. I drive down Sand Canyon for work every day, yet I miss it. I drive down the 5 freeway to the Spectrum, passing the huge Jack sign, and I still miss it. But now that I know where it is, I have a feeling I’ll be coming here often.
Customer service here is great! But then again, it was around 11 pm when my boyfriend and I showed up, and we were the only customers.

I had the misfortune of being served by a new guy, so he fumbled around quite a bit and he didn’t talk very loud over the music.
Anyway, this location is in «Historic Old Town Irvine». The road has recently been renovated to permit the railroad to go over a bridge so it is much easier to come here than before but there is still some construction around the area so it’s hard to get in and out of the road. There’s not a lot of parking in this parking lot, but there also aren’t a lot of customer inside (although during the weekend, the traffic seems to increase).
There were no problem with the food and it came out quickly despite all of the other customers. It’s a little hotter in temperature here than the branch on Irvine Blvd. Best to be buying a soda.

I almost puked when I bit into your Breakfast Jack this morning. The egg was hard and burnt, and it had something green running throughout it. You need to fire the cook!

Hours on Unilocal are wrong. On Friday and Saturday night they tend to be open longer than 11pm. I’ve been here around 1am and the drive thru was still working.
Food is nasty but this Jack has the best customer service out of any Jack in the Box ever.
