This place looks nice in the model, but beyond that… Well, they just slapped lipstick on the pig. I will never live here again or at another CFLane property. It was the WORST experience of my renting career, and I lived in a place during the summer of 2011 where my third floor apartment A/C was out for 3 weeks.(For those that have forgotten or did not live in the metroplex then, that is the summer that DFW had over 40 days straight of over 100 degree temperature and that A/C outage was in the middle of it.) But this place was even worse than that! I am not over-exaggerating. It was not well maintained and not secured. Parking was awful. People would park in firelanes and other locations because there simply wasn’t enough parking for all the residents. Maintenance was incapable of solving problems, and often took too long. It took them 72 hours to come to change the battery in my smoke alarm when it was beeping due to a dead battery. Yes, you read that right. 72 hours. For a safety risk. They could never get my alarm reset to a new pin from the pin the previous resident had. They took weeks to remove large trash and weeks to deal with hornet’s nests. The apartment complex is a little over 2 years old, but it looks much older and run-down. Don’t take my word for it. You can pull up and walk around with no need to be let it. Don’t be fooled by the Las Colinas zip code in this case. The property and the management team are well on their way to being the slum property of what is otherwise a rather bourgeois area of town. Don’t waste your money here!
