Husband and I used Bethany but she’s moved back to Wisconsin. Upon calling to schedule a new appointment we were told that they were closed until they open at their new location in the winter.

I recently moved to the area and found them here on Unilocal. After reading the reviews I made an appointment but when I arrived at their location they were nowhere to be found. I called them and was told that their Irving location is closed and that they are all at the Arlington location 30 mins away. They were unapologetic and said they had no openings for the rest of the evening. We only have one car so my husband took off work early for nothing. Really frustrating experience. I only chose this place because it was local with decent reviews. They need to update their website, especially if the same phone number is forwarded to an entirely different location.

Holy smokes, what a great haircut!!! For under $ 50 I got a massage, shampoo, haircut, style, AND makeup touch up, not to mention the great customer service. They provide you with a list of the products they use on you but do not push any purchase, and are a non-tipping company(which I really hope means they pay their stylists well). These people are not kidding around. I will definitely make them my go-to salon. Ask for Patrick Daniels!

Tried to set up an appointment through their website multiple times. Never received any sort of reply other than the automatically generated«we received your request.» Very disappointing after reading the glowing reviews, but that doesn’t make up for poor customer service. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good salon in DFW for two years, and THIS. IS. IT! With a complimentary neck and scalp massage, the whole thing, from start to finish was a spa like experience I had Patrick, and he was incredible. A real artist, and perfectionist. He gave every strand of my hair a purpose! I’ve never been happier with a haircut… And the whole experience just took it to another level. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Great job William Edge team! Please keep doing what you’re doing! :)

Go see Kelsey! This salon has excellent ambience and the sylists are so friemdly. To guests and to eachother! What a fantastic spot in Las Colinas. I wanted a definitive hair color change and Kelsey listened attentively, determined a course of action and got to it. She’s so very bright and it’s obvious that she understands the science of hair — which is imperative for an outstanding experience and result! Dont miss it!

Had my first appointment with Emily yesterday, and I’m SO pleased with the results! Emily started the appointment with a consultation — she gave some suggestions and listened to my ideas. I am always hesitant to try a new stylist, but I’m glad I did. Emily explained everything she was doing, including why she cut the layers the way she did. I felt very comfortable with her; the conversation flowed easily, and she was genuinely personable. The salon is clean, and everyone is professional, yet friendly. I’ve already booked my follow up appointment with Emily, and hope to be a client for a long time to come.

Lauren did amazing job when she cut my hair! She is so much fun and very passionate about what she does! She even showed me how to curl my hair with a flat iron. I highly recommend her!

I made an appointment at this salon based solely on the Unilocal reviews. Fortunately, although the salon is fairly busy, they were able to squeeze me in on the same Friday that I called. Patrick was my stylist and he took the time to chat and find out exactly what I wanted before he got to work. He also treated me to a very pleasant scalp massage. My wash, cut, and style took a reasonable amount of time but never felt rushed. The salon is clean and well managed. I’m happy to have found it in such a convenient location and will definitely be returning.

I have been looking for a stylist and colorist in Dallas for over two years. I had been seeing my stylist back in San Antonio on my periodic trips down there and decided enough was enough. I found William Edge on Unilocal and was not disappointed in the rave reviews my fellow Unilocalers had posted. I made my first apt with Lauren three weeks ago. It was about a week before I could get in, which I take as a very good sign. For those of you that have long hair, you know how hard it is to find a hairstylist that won’t just keep cutting. Some people take the fact that you have long hair as an okay to practice their«cutting» skills, but that wasn’t the case here. I explained to Lauren that I wanted a haircut without looking like I had had one. She knew exactly what to do and it came out perfect(and I mean perfect). She used the aveda hair color, which was so good for my scalp. And when you are getting touchups often you need a good, nourishing line. Lauren also suggested I get the«shine» treatment. She said she would be able to see her reflection in my hair and to my surprise it worked!!! And has continued to make my hair look shiny for the last 3 weeks. When I go back this week I plan on getting my color done and the shine treatment. Additionally, the place is in a great location. Very clean, beautiful. The receptionist is as lovely as can be and Lauren rocked. The prices are so affordable, too! Extra bonus!

This is the second time I’ve been to see Lauren and she never disappoints me!!! I went in with a difficult cut that most people are nervous to do and she had never done it before, but it came out Amazing and this time we did color and again she did Amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Went for a Haircut(Am a guy, you can still visit my profile) last week. Emily was my stylist. She did a great job on my overgrown hair. Ya very natural looking haircut without the usage of clippers(They don’t use clippers). Definitely worth the 28 $ i spent and already referred a couple of friends who will be trying out.

Oh, I see pretty much everyone else on Unilocal who’ve gone to William Edge Salon’s Irving location have had pretty much the same amazing experience. Fine. I can save you some time and just tell you flat out, you don’t have to read this review, because many many of the other reviewers have penned similar love letters to the stylists. I will tell you, however, I am really good at writing and I may inadvertently add some insight, just through something I say or some funny anecdote without even trying to because like that’s how good I am at doing writing. The only reason I’m even continuing to write is because it has to be done. In a nutshell, I don’t live in Texas, but am %100 serious when I say I am not getting my hair done by anyone else, even if I have to come to Texas to do it… Lauren, you’re amazing. I don’t dislike haircuts, but I find myself only getting haircuts when it’s necessary and in my line of work ‘necessary’ is pretty much when I’m afraid my hair is getting dreadlocked under my headband so badly they I may never be able to brush it out, and, perhaps not ironically,(but most probably one of the clever asides that I warned you about in the first paragraph) one of the things about my profession that appealed to me was the fact that no one was going to tell me to cut my hair. My lack of motivation to cut my hair is also probably a result of years of feeling like it didn’t matter if I paid $ 15 or $ 50 for a haircut, it was always the same experience. Stylist looks at my hair and stops chewing gum long enough to make a face like, «WTF am i supposed to do with this?» Again, I don’t dislike haircuts, I dislike getting haircuts from disinterested strangers with scissors who act like I’m supposed to tell them how to do their job. But recently all the planets converged or something and work sent me to the sprawling sprawl of Irving TX, a stones throw from William Edge salon and gave me a surprise day off, which, with the help of a cancellation, got me into the Aveda salon for a badly needed haircut and morale boost. Something about Aveda salons, I trust them to do anything. Lauren was, as I expected, totally professional and good at what she does. I immediately knew I was talking to someone who was genuinely interested in my hair. We talked for a bit and eventually I gave her carte blanche. Oh side note: I’m militantly opposed to harsh detergents like sodium laurel sulfate in my hair and told her at first flat out she could not shampoo my hair. Lauren is well versed in Aveda products(and apparently Aveda is hip to the detergent problem too) and was able to tell me emphatically without looking that there were no offensive agents of any kind pretty much across the board in Aveda’s products and I allowed her to shampoo my hair. Seriously, people who know me know what a big deal this is… but my hair came out great, obviously, duh, or I wouldn’t be writing a redundant 5 star review. So… yada yada yada, everything is luxurious, pampering, and the haircut goes great. Lauren has even sold me on some Aveda product. The whole time I’m thinking, «No matter how much I tip this girl, it won’t be enough.» She seriously has me feeling like an 8 while I’m in her chair and a 10 when I leave. Long story short, and what I would probably have known if I’d read any of the reviews before I went… no cash tipping. I seriously just got the best haircut I’ve had in 5 years, and I have no way of rewarding my new permanent stylist with anything other than all the gratitude I can muster and a world class Unilocal review? Done and done ;)

I stumbled into this salon in 2010 when I lived out of town and when I moved to Dallas I specifically sought it out. I drive half an hour to get my hair cut here, it is that good. Do it! You don’t regret it.

Emily was my stylist. She was young, energetic and super friendly! We had great conversation and she did a GREAT color job and cut for me. I was very happy when I walked out! I highly recommend her! The salon is a non tipping salon so I was shocked when I went to the counter. I was ready to tip really well. Another plus is that they are an Aveda salon! Love their products! I am definitely going back!!!
