The lady that was helping was very nice. They had an okay selection of coins but the prices were very good. I was in the area and I looked for a coin shop and found this so I decided to check it out and I had a great experience here. I bought some wheat cents to fill spots in my collection and some junk silver. I definitely recommend to swing by and check them

Sorry Itasca Coin and Jewelery. You are correct, I was reviewing another place located on Irving Park Road. Everything I said before was intended for a jewelry store located in a strip mall on Irving Park Road and just west of Addison Road. They are the real crooks. Wish I would have stopped buy your shop I’m sure I would have been much happier. Sorry for the inconvenience. Happy New Year!!!

I’ve always had a good experience at this shop. Fair prices and the lady there is very friendly. I have not dealt with the guy much.
When buying, they check spot prices as you engage in conversation and mark it down for your purchase so you know you’re getting the most up to date pricing.
I’ve only bought from them though. I have not tried to sell anything here.

I really felt like I was getting honest answers and the best possible value for the items which I brought in to sell. I’ve returned a few times now and each time I was treated with respect; to my intelligence and consideration for the circumstances which brought me to sell my items. I would recommend this family owned business to anyone who needs to sell items to pay their bills.

Fantastic coin store! I have sold jewelry and bought silver coins from them. Tony is nice enough to hold coins for me when he gets them in. The shop is really cool. They have nice items to look at. You never know what you will find. It’s a nice family business. They pay very fair prices for jewelry.

I have been looking for a place to sell my gold that I have not worn in years. I am so glad I found this wonderful shop. The brother and sister who run it are friendly AND dog lovers. I felt I received the best price possible. I also was able to turn in Chinese currency that I had forgotten about. Thanks for the excellent service!

I have frequented Itasca Coin and Jewelry 3 times already, and every time has been an exceptional experience. All three times I feel I was treated fairly, and walked out happy, rather than having the thought in the back of my mind whether or not I have been ripped off. I’m am no gold expert, however, I did do a plethora of research on the web regarding the selling of gold to such companies as Cash4Gold. After I researched, I went into Itasca Coin and Jewelery, and was very happy with what they offered me. I estimate that I received at least twice, if not more, the amount that I would have been offered from Cash4Gold, or other similar establishments. They also offer some silver in many different weights for sale, along with some jewelry, and gold. The owners seem very warm and genuine, I have had several pleasant conversations while I was there. It’s nice to see another small business move into Itasca, and due to my excellent experiences, I hope they remain as a permanent fixture in our community.
