Employees are rude and disrespectful. They took apart the juicer 1.5 hours before closing and when we asked why they can’t make the juice they said they already had it apart. Then one girl walks over and takes the first part off. When we point this out to the girl at the register she says no there was another part that was missing. Then she asks us if we would like to talk to the manager who comes over 10 minutes later who agreed with us that the juicer probably shouldn’t be take apart, but as soon as she walks over to tell them to make the juice, one of her employees say«oh hell naah, I am out of here» and walks away into the airport. It was a surreal Jamba juice experience to say the least.

Good pit stop for some refreshing drinks if you’re okay with unforthcoming, get-you-in-get-you-out, don’t-give-a-crap-bout-chu service. Smoothies aren’t filled all the way to the top even though I see some left in the blender. Still tasty enough though.

Don’t go here. Ordered the kale/ginger smoothie. It was $ 8 — Eight. U.S. Dollars. It tasted so bad I had to throw it away about 3 gates later. Like a knife made out of fake vitamins. Couldn’t my taste any fruit or vegetables.

Employees should be fired. They don’t bother to speak up or listen to their customers, and they don’t fill their drinks up properly. You go here because of lack of choice in the JetBlue airport terminal, but don’t waste your money. I ordered a large fruit, juice, and ice and asked them to blend with milk instead of ice. The lady at the counter told me they don’t use ice(??? It says clearly on the menu that they use ice) and then gave me a large size that was only three quarters of the way filled up. When I asked the girl who made it if they fill up their drinks all the way normally, she replied loudly, «THISIS A LARGE, ANDTHISIS A MEDIUM.» Obviously I know the difference, which is why I paid close to eight dollars for a large cup, you insolent little girl. She then proceeded to hide on the other side of the store(guessing she was trying to avoid making more juice). I will try to attach a photo.

It seems like most Jamba Juice locations in NY are always out of fresh juices. Fresh juices are almost in all the ingredients of the juices, so it’s such an inconvenience. People at this location work extremely slow, I feel like I’m bothering their break. There would be a person standing in line but then the cashier decides to walk to the back then come out a couple minutes after. Although it isn’t busy, drinks come out very slow. Plan to spend 10 minutes for a drink here!

Any service is management of expectations. Tried to order an Acai bowl but apparently certain times they don’t serve that. If you are going to limit your selection why not post it on your menu. Very disappointed.

The airport Jamba Juice doesn’t take gift cards, which by the way I bought at Jamba Juice. Last time I go to any of them.

I felt badly coming here, because I was clearly interrupting the young employees hang out sesh. After much eye rolling and heavy sighs, the girl working the cashier realized — upon the arrival of myself and many other weary travellers — she wasn’t going to be getting back to her texting or gossiping anytime soon. So she literally slumped over the register and apathetically took our orders with the biggest pout I’d ever seen. The two girls making the drinks weren’t any more pleased as they yelled in customers faces regarding who had which drink. «DID. YOUHAVE. THE. CARRIBEANPASSION?!» «I’m so sorry, are you talking to me?» «I AMTALKINGTOWHOEVER. HAD. THE. CARRIBEANPASSION.» Yeah, that actually happened. I should be more upset than I am by their blatantly disrespectful attitudes and genuinely horrible customer service… But because they were being so unnecessarily extreme about it, it was kind of laughable. I wanted to tell them, «this is not the worst day of your life.» Also, the price and the drink were darn good. This was my first experience with Jamba Juice and I found it refreshing and filling(though I falsely assumed the smoothies were just fruit and no fillers [in my neck of the woods, that’s what a fruit smoothie is], so I was disappointed to find out my Carribean Passion had orange sherbert… my bad, next time I’ll do the Pomegranate Paradise, Mega Mango, or Peach Perfection). I have consistently bad luck with airport food, so knowing this option exists has changed my inevitable airport hanger(hungry+angry) game.

I don’t think I have ever had to wait so long for a smoothie in my life. Four employees stood around joking and laughing while my order sat in the blender. The woman at the cashier stopped paying attention to my order half way through and got into a conversation about a resume with what appeared to be a manager. This is a very unprofessional location that seems to have no management or oversight of employees. In would stay away!!!

Oasis for the weary traveler. I look forward to every JetBlue flight armed with my trusty bright eyed blueberry! Love this terminal and love Jamba Juice. This location can feel a bit chaotic at times but it’s a much smaller space than some of their others. Slight airport markup. Wish Jamba Juice would provide a universal points card that worked at ALL of their locations.

They were out of almost everything. All the smoothies I wanted, they were unable to make because they were out of something in it. Instead of suggesting another ingredient or smoothie, the cashier would just look annoyed with me because a line was forming. Not my fault that you guys are out of so many ingredients and make it difficult for your customers to make a choice.

Ordered the Kale ribbeon with a zinc boost. Good shake but a little sweet… Could use more kale, less fruit! Suggest they list the sugar content(of the fruit) to help people make better choices.

My visit to the terminal 5 Jamba Juice tarnished an otherwise outstanding culinary vacation/family holiday visit in nyc. I stopped in before my flight back to Austin, looking for water and a lil protein. At first I thought I’d grab a carton of organic milk, but thought, «Why not get a smoothie? Yeah, carrot orange, with Greek yogurt and soy, I’ll go for it.» Don’t make the same mistake! As soon as my card was swiped, another employee told the cashier they were out of mango, which was part of the smoothie I’d just ordered. Apparently this lack of mango meant my smoothie was out of sight and out of mind. After an excessive wait, I asked about the status of my order, and the staff seemed unable to fix the mango issue, or offer a substitution. The clock was ticking, so I asked for a refund. Mumble mumble something, manager will be here, mumble mumble. After several more minutes of waiting, a more concerned employee asked, «how did you pay… Oh, CREDIT…» and gave me a sympathetic look. «Yeah, you gotta wait.» Instead, I made my flight and will contest the transaction with my credit card company. Membership has its privileges.

The worst Jamba location in the history of time. They stand around talking while guests are backed up waiting. ARGH! WHERE’S A MANAGER. Oh… wait…it’s not their fault the yogurt is frozen.

I bought a smoothie here before my flight just now. I love jamba and almost always grab a juice here before flights. Something has really changed… everyone behind the counter seemed to be yelling at each other and it seemed like the people before me all had their orders messed up(wrong juice, wrong oatmeal topping, etc). I got a carrot karma and started sipping it. I got one hair-like thing in my mouth and figured it was a fiber from a carrot(I juice a lot so I know that does happen). But then I got another, and another. They were all white and looked like dog hair with a slight curve at the front. I would have gone back, but I was already boarding so I just threw out the smoothie with 2/3rds left in if. Such a waste and so gross! I’m never going back to that jamba, which is such a bummer because it was a great snack to bring on a flight. I posted a photo of one of the hairs that I found in my drink.

My order of strawberries wild was all watery and mostly apple juice. I exchanged and they were not nice. The new cup was two inches less than a full cup. They don’t measure, they guess and all busy chatting with each other to make a good overpriced drink. Unlike other locations. They were not busy and too many staff members there so no excuses.

This is the area where I was first introduced to Jamba Juice and they have never let me down. Taste, service and speed of service is always right on — cleanliness of their little domain is always good and this place was no different. I love the fact that they are now in most every airport I go to!

Jamba Juice is just so great regardless what you order, except that wheatgrass shot, NOWAY! I love there smoothies and shakes, so fresh and delicious cold. I always like to have a shot of protein added to it. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed every sip, pretty pricey cause Im guessing its the airport too but I can never turn down a drink from there.
