Termite Advisors were the company that fumigated a house one year before we bought it, and gave the termite clearance for escrow. Bill Evans promptly took care of minor repairs that were necessary and took responsibility without hesitation and arguing, going out of his way to quickly find a satisfying solution for everyone. Friendly person, very responsive, and great character. I wouldn’t hesitate hiring him again.

I had the same type of communication issues as the other reviewer. This guy was recommended by another contractor that did work for me. I asked several times for him to meet me at the property, he never did. He would take forever to get back to me, then just stop by when I wasn’t there. His report was confusing and unprofessional and when I asked him to come meet me at the property over and over again, he gave me excuses about living in Jamul and not wanting to drive all the way there. Communication was HORRIBLE! I wrote my address on the damn paperwork then he emails me photos today, the day before the tenting is supposed to take place and the photos are of someone else’s house! He never even went to my house! I told him the address, told him it was a two story building with a huge dumpster in the driveway(we are doing a bunch of renovations) described the laundry room in the back of the building, described all the areas I was having problems with, and he still couldn’t put two and two together to figure out he was at the wrong house! The one he went to was a 1 story house, no back laundry room, no big dumpster in the driveway. Seriously?! WTF?! How can someone be so incompetent? Unbelievable. When I told him he had the wrong house, not even an apology, just«go with someone else.» Jackass

I can’t honestly review the termite treatments themselves– we never managed to get that far. Although, supposedly our place was treated previously by this guy… so the fact that the termites were back, &BAD, perhaps 2 years later doesn’t speak very well of his effectiveness. After over a week of me chasing after this guy trying to set up an appointment, nothing. The only call of mine he ever returned was the initial one. After that, when he didn’t like the scheduling options I offered, he would promise to call back the next week or later that day, but never did. I made it very clear what our schedule limitations were from the start… apparently he didn’t like that, or thought it wasn’t worthwhile to have to arrange anything specific for a small job. He kept trying to arrange early mornings, after I explained(repeatedly) that wasn’t possible, or told me «maybe» a particular day & he’d call about an hour before… I certainly don’t have time to waste an entire day waiting on the POSSIBILITY that some flake who doesn’t return phone calls will show up with minimal notice. I offered multiple days, tried to schedule well in advance, & offered completely open afternoon times… but apparently that still wasn’t flexible enough. He claimed he usually«just gets access to the property» & apparently treats at his leisure… which makes me question how often he bothers to treat at all! So, after jerking around for more than a week(during which we were dealing with nasty termite swarming every couple of days) he finally told me he couldn’t commit to an afternoon appointment. Even though we offered ANYTIME in the afternoon. On almost ANY day. Seriously?!? For a treatment that, supposedly, is organic & safe for pets & families, are we really the only ones who have ever had to be present for a treatment, or insisted on some kind of appointment window rather than«do it whenever?» Ridiculous customer service, unprofessional… wasted my time, strung us along for what felt like forever before finally declining the job, doesn’t care about jobs that aren’t big enough(or convenient enough for him).
