Possibly the worst pizza i have ever had… and i am including any brand of supermarket frozen pizza.

I stumbled in here during lunch looking for pizza(because it looks like a pizzaria on the outside and inside, even had the little talbes with the benches) and noticed they had oxtail on the daily special menu. I even saw the owners wife cooking the oxtail on the kitchen stove in the back behind the counter. I am an oxtail finatic, and that was it, i had to order it. Luckily i did, the oxtail with the rice and beans came in a giant portion and it was delicious! It was so good i came back another time for it. Make sure you call ahead to see if they have oxtail that day because they don’t always make it. The oxtail with rice is only $ 8, what a deal for a giant meal. The owners are super friendly, the food is cheap and good, Pino’s is an overall great experience.

Burgers at 2.50 and very tasty cheeseburgers at 3.50. Also tried their homemade empanada type things with carne and queso. Yummy. Try Pino’s!

Nicest people in the world! I love to give money to nice people. I have only tried the pizza, but the prices are very affordable and you get plenty of food. Awesome neighborhood pizza shop.

Nice little Spanish and Italian restaurant I stopped in to today. The owner and his wife were working at the counter. I looked at the menu and decidted to try the pernil. I got my daughter, who was with me a Papa de rellanos and a beef and cheese empanada. I sat down at a small table and start talking to some regulars. My food came out in less than 5 minutes. I tried a bite of my daughters Papa de rellanos. It was pretty good, a little mushy though. Then I looked at the pernil, it looked dry. Took a bite, sure enough, it was dry. The rice and beans are average nothing special. I also tried to bite of my daughters beef and cheese empanada it was a little dry but had a nice flavor. I think I would come back to this place just for the Papa de rellanos and to try out some other stuff… The owner and his wife were extremely nice and reminded me of my boyfriend’s father in Puerto Rico who recently passed away I’m sure they have some good stuff there since there were a lot of regulars inside…

My four star rating is based on one experience thus far. I don’t live far from the establishment, so my girlfriend and I gave it a whirl. She only wanted mozzarella stix, but I was in the mood to give one of their Mexican creations a try. We viewed their menu online(seamless?) and I noticed that the Mexican dishes had a note to call for availability. I fancied the«Steak and Onions», so put the call in to place the order and was told that it was not available and that«tonight we have beef stew». I said«oh heck yeah!» to which the nice lady responded«what?» «I will have the beef stew please, with yellow rice and beans». I was told to give them five minutes, which I did and the food was ready upon our arrival. The seemingly husband and wife owners were very pleasant. When we got back to the apartment and opened the bag I was astonished at the amount of food I had received for $ 6.50. It was enough to allow me dinner, lunch at work, and lunch at work the next day. Wow. Taste-wise it was maybe slightly above average. The beef was fork tender and the rice and beans were to be as expected. I didn’t try them, but she was happy with her stix. No complaints. My four star review is based on the amount of food for the money combined with the friendliness of the owners. We will definitely be going back at some point.

I just want to start by saying, this place feels like my second home. The atmosphere is awesome and I come here often enough that the owner knows me! This place is definitely the mom and pop store that you don’t really see anymore and that makes me love it even more. I will be coming here for many years to come.

This is truly a mom and pop neighborhood restaurant as the owners are just 2 of the sweetest people! By the third time I went there, they had already recognized me and are always more than welcoming whenever I pay a visit. Every time I come here I stop to get a slice of pizza or an empanada on top of my meal. The pizza isn’t the best in the world but it is definitely better than the stuff I used to get in California. I agree with the other review that getting a pizza by the slice isn’t quite as good as their fresh pie but the single slice is still darn good(and greasy!!!). The empanadas also are solid, but not great, which pretty much sums up a lot about this restaurant. From their pizza, to their pasta, to their mozzarella sticks, to their pernil and steak dishes, everything is pretty average— but comes at a decent price. The fact that the prices are decent and the service is great really makes me want to stop by everytime I walk by this place. This place also delivers but be ready to repeat your phone number and address about 10x.

pino’s is really good! i love their pizza and especially their lasagna and spanish dishes. they’re a great family owned and run business which i love and appreciate. i’m disappointed, however, that their prices are sooo low, especially for their quality of food, because their food is worth more than they’re priced at. they also deliver(only at a minimum of $ 10, believe or not) even all the way up montgomery st. perfect place for quality food that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.

I was very disappointed by the pizza that was made here sadly… I tried it twice thinking that maybe the first time was just not my day, however, after the second time… I was convinced not to return

Pino’s is a small neighborhood joint to get fantastic pizza outside of NYC. You can watch Mr. Pino take the fresh dough out of the fridge and fix it right there. My only complaint is that the mushrooms are canned. But the pizza comes piping hot every time with crisp crust and tasty sauce. One word of advice is to get a whole pie and stay away from the individual slices. They are not as fresh. Take out takes about 20 — 25 minutes so when he says 10 minutes, don’t believe him. Okay, so maybe that was two words of advice.
