When a music fan can find a fun place to listen to live music, life is good. This place has a real concert feel; music by Green Day, David Bowie(RIP) and starred an incredible U2 tribute band(See pictures). I came with a group so I got in for $ 5 on a Saturday night. What they discount on cover though, they make up in charging $ 10 for a bottle of beer! Yikes. Come hydrated! Crowd was a casually dressed diverse group with a good of mix of all ages. Dress lite– this place gets packed and hot with all the people but overall everyone was well behaved.

You obviously don’t go here for the food. If you do, you’ll be disappointed. I suspect the food tastes better after a few drinks.

37 Main Johns Creek location is nicely decorated, spacious, and well equipped to accommodate a full scale live music performance. One half of the place is dedicated to dining, the other half is concert stage, lights, sound, bar. There’s also a covered patio with bar service in front where smoking is permitted. My wife and I were there recently for a big birthday celebration, and to see a popular Def Lepard cover band. The performance was great, the sound level may have been a bit high, but I’m not that old yet ! Before the show started, the house music played what they call a «mash«or medley of popular rock hits all tied together in one continuous play, not too bad, but shortly after that, and well before the band hit the stage, the«mash» devolved into techno dance hip hop ??? Wow, wait what !!! Wrong demographic, wrong audience base ?!? Memo to the stooge or dorks running the sound !!! Come on man !! Why is the entire joint covered with posters of Guns and Roses, Ozzy, Van Halen etc, etc, when you blare, and I mean blare !!! This nonsense ??? After the band finished their gig, you guessed it !! Concert level techno dance machine !! I didn’t see a dance floor, or mirror ball, and it was so loud we had to bail !! Epic Fail 37 Main !!! Here’s an idea, how bout sticking to Rock N Roll !! If we wanna get our hip hop on, we’ll go downtown !!! …

Great live music venue! Have been there numerous times and the shows are tons of fun. If you are a middle Ager looking to relive the music of your youth this is the place. Can’t review the food but the service and drinks are solid.

Seriously one of the best live music venues in the Atlanta area! I was so impressed with the immense size of the venue and the quality of food and music. The whole experience was positive and I knew instantly that I would be coming back a lot. If you’re looking to hear good music with good acoustics then you’re in the right place. The restaurant greeters were very welcoming and the organized concert door staff and security people were very professional. There are 2 nice large bars in the music venue. The bartender was so helpful and not pushy. The shrimp tacos were good. I also enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. Located in one of the most affluent areas of Atlanta, I felt safety was a #1 priority and police were in the parking lot when I came and left. I always thought that we needed a high quality music venue like this in the northern suburbs and my wish has been granted. Now I just wish there was another location in Lilburn or Snellville.

The only reason I am writing and giving a one star posting is because the waitress said download the $ 10 app for the ½ price specials. The app does absolutely nothing and the waitresses don’t even look or ask to see the app. The bands list has also not been updated since 2014. $ 10 for this app is ridiculous and a shame that I had to pay for a crappy app at this price that has no purpose. This is a RIPOFF and disappointment since this is a pretty cool place to hang out. I would like a refund for this app but no contacts to be found in the App Store.

I love the set up and atmosphere of this bar. But I do believe that the doormen take there jobs alittle too seriously. Customers spend alot of money to come in and have a good time with friends watching a band. After spending hundreds of dollars, you shouldnt be harassed by the doormen. Some of the patrons are alttle stuffy also. I suppose it is the neighborhood. I will think twice before spending my hard earned money here again.

The Stranger is a GREAT Billy Joel tribute band. Too bad 37 main doesn’t have a good sound engineer to mix the nice system properly. Service is always good and they book good bands. Food is stellar for a bar. Bar need improvement though; their signature drinks are terrible.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Can’t comment on the food as we’ve been waiting well over 45 minutes. Hostess continues to say 15 more minutes. It’s a lot of fun holding up the wall — no seating for waiting. Thanks for nothing 37Main.

This is a really cool, modern, rock & roll bar, restaurant and venue. I’ve been here twice in 4 days… yeah, it’s that good. The first time was to see Departure — the Journey tribute band. I’ve seen these guys before and they were awesome! The venue is pretty rad. The sound system is a little TOO good. It was the loudest concert I’ve ever been to, and that’s saying something! I left towards the end and sat in the lobby. Seriously, it was insanely loud. After the band a DJ finished off the night with hip hop and pop. Odd choice for the audience base. Again, it was so loud I stayed in the lobby. Yesterday I went for Monday night karaōke… best karaōke I’ve ever been to! You get up on stage with a full light show and fog machine. I felt like a freaking rockstar. It was absolutely amazing. The bar staff was the best. I wasn’t drinking alcohol, I had given blood earlier and was super dehydrated. My cup of water was never empty. Not once. My waitress literally came by every couple of minutes to refill my water. There was no incentive for her to provide me excellent service, I wasn’t buying anything… but she did, and I’m super impressed.

This is my very first time to a 37 Main. I’m here on personal/business with coworkers and customers. This place reminds me of Vegas and Hollywood. The atmosphere is very club like. They have done a great job with the audio and video system. There is a whole wall of flat screen televisions. The deco is dedicated to rock and music legends. The food was delicious! Our group had a variety of entrees. None were disappointing. I would definitely come back and more often if I lived closer.
