We were staying at a hotel next door and in the morning wandered over to look at Sequoias as we were considering buying one. A salesman came out and showed a used one. He had us wait in the show room while he got the keys and brought the car up. Car smelled great and ran great. Noticed two small round burn marks on the header and wondered if they might be cigarette burns but he did not comment. We decided to get the car and again, he had us wait while he brought the car around. We drove away in this great smelling car. Next time we got in it we were overwhelmed with nasty old cigarette smoke smell. They were spraying deodorizer in each time just before we got in the vehicle so we wouldn’t notice and decide to not buy it. We definitely would not have purchased it, at least not at that price. It took at least 6 months for the smell to dissipate, I messaged them to complain and asked them to send me some touch up paint for penance. Slow response, then said they would send the paint, no apology for the bad behavior, and also no paint has been sent. I think it is fair to say buyer beware, these guys are old fashioned used car salespeople at their worst. Would definitely not buy from them again, no trust.
