Very nice for the great price. I’m here for work and they have a very low hotel cap for Kalamazoo. But for the cost you get a ton of value. The full size fridge and kitchen area far surprise the slightly less expensive Fairfield down the street. Staff have been very friendly. The work out area has a treadmill, elliptical, bicycle and barbells. Very comfortable and would recommend highly for the low cost.

Nice stay for one night. As with most town place suites, the breakfast isn’t exciting but it is sufficient. My assigned room was near the stairwell which was being remodeled so my room smelled like paint. After calling downstairs I was immediately moved to a room further away that did not have a smell. The work out room was nice with well working machines. Located right off the highway it is convenient for reaching businesses in Kalamazoo. Not a lot of convenient eating options nearby but plenty within a short drive.

I really like this place. The suits are a good size, they even include a microwave, dishwasher, and a stove. The rooms seem clean and the staff are nice. The only problems I think are the bathrooms, breakfast area, and parking are small.

I spent 4 nights at Kalamazoo Towneplace Suite. I admire Marriort Group has a brand like Towneplace that provides comforts and pleasant service to her guests. As a loyal Hilton customer, I was pleased. The hotel is pretty new. It locate at the junction of 9th street and Highway 94. Easy access to I-94 that is about 15 minutes to Kalamazoo airport. It is also just few blocks away from Stadium street which is one major road leads to restaurants and shopping center. Our little suite is clean and very quiet. There is closet at the entrance and another one in the bath. Small working desk and sitting area near the window that are cozy enough to work or watching TV. Free WiFi. Bed is softer than Hilton bed and all pillows are feather pillows. The kitchen area equipped with fridge, 2 burner stove, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, pots and pans. All in good condition. Breakfast starts at 630 and end at 930 during weekdays. There are not too much to offer but you can get coffee, fruit, juice, cereals, bagels, breakfast sandwich and boiled eggs. It is plenty for guest who just want a quick bite. GYM, Business center and laundry rooms are all locate at the first floor. Service at front desk is prompt and pleasant. Housekeeper does good job clean my room and they are super fast. The Harding supermarket is just few blocks away to get water or food. There are plenty small sandwich shop nearby if you look for a quick bite. Marta’s fine food is my favorite. If you are in process relocate to this area and looking for a temporary place to stay for few days or weeks, this is not a bad choice. I will choose this one again next time I visit Kalamazoo.

The generally accepted definition of a «suite» is a hotel room that contains multiple separate rooms. Removing the closets in the entry way and sticking in some cabinets a sink and a fridge does not a suite make. «Studio» suite is code for normal hotel room. If we’d known, we would have stayed elsewhere. We didn’t need a tiny kitchen, we needed a separate living area.
