Old pictures on the wall? Check. Odd smell? Check. Cheap drinks? Check. Divey atmosphere? Double check. If you’re into the dive scene, you’ll love this little gem. The bartenders were very friendly and even came to check on us out on the patio(which is lovely at night). The lady and I went with a couple of the always classy and cheap PBR’s, tried out the hard root beer, then skated out. For a dive bar this place really starts to fill up around midnight. My advice: head out to the patio for a smoke. Avoid the bathrooms if you aren’t a fan of dysentery.

I was really hoping for a lot more here. A good dive bar all depends on the bartenders. Out of three none were worth while. Everyone wants to be treated like a regular. After seeing the same shot pour for two other guys in the bar and the wii Mini shot we received It was eye opening. Ridiculous.

This place is fairly clean for a dive bar. They have tons of food and drink specials. You can get you some cheap tacos here to fill your belly.

I LOVE this place. Simple. Divey. Inexpensive. THREE $.75TACONIGHTS A WEEK. Need I say more? I always get the beef tacos and they’re always amazing, and even have onion and tomato free of charge, though not my cup of tea. They also have a ton of drink specials and a great happy hour. I will definitely be a regular here.

Had my 21st birthday here, and have loved it ever since. It is the textbook definition of a dive bar with a great atmosphere, cheap drinks, great service, and sitcom-quality patrons. The outback patio is very nice and perfect in the Summer months. My girlfriend and I always start at Stagecoach on a Westport night. It’s a little distance from the rest of the bars in Westport, but should not be missed!

What a great dive bar find in KC! Friendly bartenders and a nice selection of cheap beers. My boyfriend was a fan of the 24 oz PBR which you don’t usually see anywhere. This is a chill hangout and they have a nice little patio out back as well. It’s one of the divey-est bars I’ve been to for sure which has its own form of charm. It was nice that it’s smoke free because of the small size; I’d imagine it must’ve been pretty smoky in there back in the day.

So… all of you should know by now that whenever I find myself in a new city… I find a cool ass dive bar. Well, Kansas City is no exception. I came, I searched, I succeeded. Now for the particulars. Imagine a smoke free Drunken Fry with a patio. Well, that’s Dave’s Stagecoach Inn. They offer PBR in not 12oz, not 16oz, but 24oz cans. That’s what I call, «#Winning.» How cheap is this dive bar, you ask? Well, I had 3 fireball shots, a 24oz PBR, and a Hamm’s for $ 16.50. Yep, it was that cheap. The atmosphere is a little old for a dive bar. Not too old, but there weren’t too many 20-somethings in the place. I don’t care about age at a dive bar though. All of us go to a dive bar for one reason… to get white girl wasted on the cheap. As hinted at, the inside is smoke free and they have a patio out back for people who want a cigarette. Overall, it was a pretty damn cool place to chill and have a drink at.

I never liked the show Cheers. I thought it could use a rewrite by Charles Bukowski. All the one liners and jokes seemed empty to me. I’d rather hear a five minute monologue from a father who hasn’t spoken to his son in 15 years or a trip to the clinic to get rid of that«you know.» Well I’d love to see this version of Cheers come to flourish ion but until that time I can always go to Dave’s Stagecoach. The bartenders know most everyone by name, the jukebox is usually kicking and the place smells like beer and old cigarettes from the before time when you could smoke.

Pool table– Check Jukebox– Check Bar food– Check Cheap Drinks– Check Dave’s is also an old stomping ground with my old roommate. She and I would come in here to shoot a few games of pool and get happy hour drinks… for those of you who haven’t experienced a Dave’s Happy Hour, they have a different drink on special each hour. Kind of a fun little game :) The bartenders have always been nice and the crowd is quite calm. Good little dive.
