The audit itself went fine. The report was detailed and explanatory. The service was lousy. First, I was told I would have the report within 2 weeks of the audit…4 weeks later, still nothing and I was told they don’t release the audit until after Kansas pays them (even though I payed $ 100 myself). Next, the audit came in and I because I was traveling, I could not meet immediately. He said he would email it to me to review, then contact me to set up an appointment to discuss. Well, nothing. I then got another email that he would call me the next morning. Well, now it’s 4 weeks later. They had some good ideas to increase efficiency, including a very good price on something i was planning to do anyway. However because of the lack of service from them, I will be taking that quote to other vendors to compare. Green CAT will be the LAST resort for me to actually contract the job to. If they can’t set clear expectations and follow up on a basic audit, I have no more use for them.

Extremely thorough and very professional! Green CAT did a great job and was very patient with my questions and concerns. They rescued the project after a questionable company took advantage of us.

They came to my rescue after another company that shall remain nameless — Home Performance «Douche Bags R Us» Service– oh wait… snickers — (see review) totally ripped me off.
As I was saying… they came to my rescue. They were appalled at the service & treatment I received and promised to help me. And boy howdy did they ever ! Professional, courteous, prompt, left me a top-​notch report and they know their shit to boot !
They just left my home after a thorough air-​leak sealing and an insulation job in my attic, cleaned up after themselves and did a post blower test. My numbers decreased by 1000 points ya’ll. I can already feel my energy efficiency improving: p
I’m so excited over the work that was done and the work that is still to be done. I know that I can count on them to do it right at a reasonable price.
I call bullshit on a previous review. These folks will either use the KCPL /​MGE tax credit toward your job… with your SIGNED approval…(which I personally did) …or they will give you the paper work to file for the credit on one of your utility bills. You can only receive the tax credit IF you have qualifying work done. You don’t just simply get $ 600.00. It comes off whatever utility bill you apply. Just not buying the «didn’t get the credit» crap. File the fucking paperwork, genius. The people in your review, aren’t the folks that were in my home. Who the hell goes door to door anyway !? Fly by night MY ASS. They have been around a few years now and are listed on the
website under CERTIFIED contractors.
