I’m a fan of both the Overland Park and Lawrence locations. Westport is a perfect fit for them. I went for an early lunch and about 1⁄3 of the tables were already full. I can imagine that it will be packed on a weekend night. Great tasting food that comes out fast, good lunch and daily specials. I’ll be back for sure.

Hot, made-to-order pizza. 90s music. Lawrence-y vibe, if you’re into that sort of thing. Underrated eatery in Westport.

This is my new go to place for a slice. Nice flavor with just the right amount of garlic. They offer some great lunchtime deals and overall you can be in and out pretty quickly. The only ding here is if you order a whole pizza have them cook it a little extra, the last pizza I got was soggy in the middle by the time I got back to the office, a few more minutes in the oven would have helped. Highly recommended.

They have wine on the board but no wine in the restaurant… Ordered a single slice of $ 4 cheese pizza, took over 20 min. The place wasn’t even busy. Had no flavour. Crust, sauce, and cheese were all bland. Was wanting to try the fancier slices but I’ll skip since they can’t do a good simple cheese pizza. Table was extremely shaky, my friend had to put a wallet under it.

I have been going to Papa Keno’s since I was a kid in Lawrence so like many others when I heard this place was opening up in Westport I got excited. This place serves the same quality slices that I am used to. One slice is just the right size to fill you up and are cooked just right. There are 4 large TV’s that make watching a game pretty nice but most of the time I get my orders to go.

As someone that grew up with Papa Keno’s in Lawrence, I am incredibly stoked that they have come to Wesport! A delicious slice of pizza, a drink, and breadstick for just over five dollars? Who could ask for more?!

Yea! I have great memories of Papa Keno’s from Lawrence and when this location was previously open. I usually go on Thursday night for specialty slice and pint special. They have at least 5 beers on tap. The selection of specialty slices is large. I have had the Brutus, the Shredder, Melvin and Bön Chovy. I go back and forth between all of them. I haven’t been let down by any of the slices. I choose whatever I’m in the mood for whether it’s more on the Greek side or covered with pepperoni and blue cheese. The service is always super friendly and the slices come out at a fast pace. If you’re in the mood to support a good local business and have a great slice Papa Keno’s is it. I’m glad they’re back!

I’ve always been a Papa Keno’s fan so I was thrilled to see that they were coming back to Westport. The Lawrence location went through some major ups and downs when I was in school; they were a top spot and then suddenly had some ownership issues that caused them to skimp on ingredients and the quality suffered badly. Then the Downtown OP location turned everything around got me hooked again. When it’s right, their pizza slices are slightly crispy, with creative and well-priced slices. My first experience with the Westport location was okay. We did delivery on a Friday, ordering at 5:15 after work. They said it would take 45 minutes and it ended up taking about an hour and a half. Despite me being pretty hangry, I’ve slept on it and realized that’s to be expected from any pizza place on a Friday night. No big deal and I rounded up to four stars for my first time here. The pizza(we got a Kid Keno; spinach, roasted garlic, pepperoni and a touch of feta) was pretty solid. I do think their individual slices tend to come out better than their full sized pizzas, however. Next time I have it I’ll have to go in and check it out in person, but I’m glad it’s back around midtown and it’s one of the better pizza slices you can find in KC.

For starters, the place has huge flat screen TVs, the kitchen is visible and clean(yay!) The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food menu was so extensive and the beer collection was great. The food itself: words barely describe just how unbelievably delicious the pizza slices were!!! I had the Mama Keno slice and my husband had the Carnivore. The ingredients tasted fresh, the cheese was to die for and my husbands slice was so heavy and full of meat. We loved it and will definitely never eat pizza anywhere else!

Shared a plain order of breadsticks and a 14″ Tuskeno pie with a friend. Did not share beer($ 3 bottles on Sundays yo). We each ended up taking home two slices. Pizza was amazing. Sticks and sauce were great. PLEASEGETWINE. YOUHAVEITONTHESIGNANDIT’S SONECESSARY. Or maybe a corking fee?

I come to Westport often. Very often. I drive all the way from Lenexa. I walk past places frequently but never go in. Papa Keno’s is one of them. Today I heard a lot about their pizza and got exceptionally hungry for pizza. So I decided to come in. This place is nice inside, the booths are comfy and there’s multiple large TVs that show sports. There’s a little bar you can sit at, but it’s awkwardly next to the cash registers. I chose a booth… I ordered a slice of the«works». When people tell you that you only need to order one slice, they’re not lying. The slice is half the size of most normal pizzas. It was perfect crispy thin crust with hamburger, onion, mushrooms, black olives, and green peppers. Toppings were spread evenly and generously. It was delicious. They also have a pretty OK beer selection for a walk in by the slice pizza place. I had a great local beer with my pizza and it was a good time. Great place if you’re in Westport and in the mood for pizza.

Great service and great pizza. Been looking for a good slice in the Midtown area for a while and finally found it. If you want pizza baked on coal with ingredients you can’t pronounce this isn’t for you.

ok, pizza 51, you’re luck has run out I’m afraid, as a knock-off of the original Papa Keno’s you will just no longer do, as the original has come back to Westport and that’s just where I’ll be going from now on. As a former Lawrencite, Papa Keno’s to me was what pizza by the slice should always be, large, warm, fresh, and when I moved to KC, the OP location was always a monthly pilgrimage. when I moved to midtown the Westport location was fabulous as well, and then boom, gone with the Schwinn. Now they’re back and I’m a happy camper. Love Love Love it. I would say 2nd best pizza in town next to Spin.

I wish this was less floppy pizza, but this is not your drunken slice of joes pizza, the toppings are good and youre not limited by which toppings you can have just cuz its late. Better value, better price. Get the slice, its plenty for one.

I can smell the taste but I can’t taste the taste. It’s like that joke about white people making chicken. It’s not good. The cheese tastes fake. I don’t know what I just ate.

Good to see Papa Keno’s back in Westport. The pizza is very good. The house salad is surprisingly good as well. However, the forks are the worst I have ever seen. They are cheap tiny plastic. Good luck eating much with one. Thankfully, you don’t need a fork for the pizza.
