Maybe we caught an off day. The ground beef in both the burger and tacos seemed unseasoned. The fries were fresh but a little grease soggy. We came right at open and I expected it to be delicious. Not sure I’d go back again. The waitstaff also seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. We had to wait to have our order taken even though we sat there with our menus folded and were the only people in the restaurant. The only thing that kept it from being a 1 star is the fact that the Messy Monkey burger was really unique and gave me a recipe idea!

If you like cleverly named dive bars, this is the place for you. Replete with smarmy bar hands and food that has been fried to get out at those pesky nutrients. Let’s be honest, you go to a bar to drink and socialize. This bar is perfect for all your alcoholic needs! Cheep booze a smokey atmosphere with board games in the back and music to suit your mood. If your coming in with friends, then a drunken game of Jenga is a must! If you want to watch the Chiefs beat the Broncos, they’ve got a spot just for you. Despite(or maybe because of) their«divey» appearance, Rhythm and Booze is populated with awesome employees who are quick with the drinks and quicker with the wit(do not spill cheese dip on your shirt or you WILL be the butt of every joke). Every time I have a drink here I come away happy(and drunk).

I love this place! They have a killer wing special. Not only are they priced right the wings are actually delicious. I would avoid the bbq and just go for the buffalo but that’s just me. Plus they are open late, And there is usually someone cool there. Also, great drink specials and great service. This place is great

So let me be frank and state all of the issues. When the appetizers were ordered the white queso dip was still cold and chunky. It was returned. Not only was our waitress just sitting out front when we arrived it took a while to get drink refills and to top it off. The cook comes outside with his apron on and goes to a womans car and the comes on the patio and smokes. With the same apron on that he’s wearing while preparing said tacos. Also the waitress hears half of a conversation and basically calls a member of our party a stripper. Yet after all of these things we still made sure she was tipped out. But my bill was 50% less than the other times I have been to Rythm & Booze. My greatest hope is that you take this and use it as a tool to fix what’s wrong. Also it wouldn’t hurt to clean up the place. I realize you’re going for that dive bar look but I’m not sure how you pass inspection. Thank you

I really liked the way they handled and issue we had. There were some aggressive guys at the pool table, we said something to the waitress and they were asked to leave. We broke the jukebox and they called a repair man who had it fixed in 20 min. I talked to one of the owner who was not happy with any of the responses that I was impressed with him. We had a great time and the personal attention was beyond amazing.

I am not sure where the Rhythm comes into play, the canned music sucked, we were expecting something much more exciting that canned R&R through a crappy sound system. We ended up throwing darts(actually there was only one dart that had an actual point on it, so we shared that one) just to drink our beers and get out. Pretty much just a dive, we did not try any food.

Came here on a Friday night with friends for the $ 5 philly. The bar was depressing looking. Nobody was in the lounge area of the restaurant. I believe it was a lot of regulars who were there from the vibe. A couple homeless people walked in and out. Thought it was going to be hipstery but that thought quickly changed into a grungy rock bar. Looking beyond the environment, Service by the bartender was good and quick. The philly was good and cheap. Flavorful thin slices of meat on a hoagie. The fries were no good. We got a lot but they tasted undercooked and were stiffer. Can’t really tell what they’re going for in terms of theme. Not a bad place to check out for some drunk food I suppose. It has potential but will need a lot of work.

Great little casual bar very friendly staff tacos were wonderful. Great place to relax and have fun with friends. Don’t come here unless you’re ready to relax and have a great time. Kind of trendy but also a great place for regular folks.

I mostly hit this place up for cheap wings on Tuesday or hot tacos on Thursday, but it’s definitely a cool spot any night of the week. The decorative style is badass with the chain-link and the gear door, but recently they got some welded metal sculptures that kick it up a notch! The pool tables and games in the back are old standards worth visiting. The outdoor seating is a new change I’ve been enjoying in the spring weather. I’d personally recommend the BLT or the Messy Monkey burger! They haven’t let me down yet, and I always have a good time here.

Thus is such an eclectic place. Pool and darts are available but always seem to be hogged by the same drunk meat heads. You know the kinda guys who get a little liquid courge in em and think it’s perfectly ok to harass on the females, despite them i still had a good time. After their first failed attempt they usually settle down and move on. What makes this place so eclectic and awesome is to the wide group of people it seems to attract. I first went with a group of roller derby gals, but every walk of life seems to hang out here like some drunken kind of utopia. From those newly minted. of age drinkers to the. recently retired to every color off the rainbow. Such a chill place, i love bringing out of towners here, they are usually pleasantly blown away.

Bad food and terrible kitchen service. Go somewhere else… anywhere. Over an hour some if our party done eating while others never got food. Empty water glasses and bad food or no food unbelievable.

Dreadful experience. Go anywhere but here. We arrived with a large group at 5:30 pm; some of our party received our food after 15 minutes however the rest our our group didn’t receive our food for over an hour. Food was terrible.

Worst. Food. Ever. Worst. Service. Ever. It was equivalent to waiting in line at the dmv. You wait, but then you don’t eat. You wait, but you never drink. You get so thirsty, but nobody gives you water. They ask for big tips(a full quarter of the menu tells you what to tip), but then they provide no service. We had to go get our own menus. We had to get our own waters. I wish I could have cooked my own food, but I couldn’t. I had to wait for the ass-faces in the kitchen to not cook my food. I left feeling sad and empty inside.

First time coming here this past weekend and I feel like I waited far too long to find this little gem. Pool tables, darts and other bar games to keep your interest. Lots of different kinds of people. Cheap drinks. Good atmosphere and close to home. I wasn’t impressed with the food but then again, I’m very limited with the whole«giving up meat for Lent» happening. I had a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. The grilled cheese was«okay» and the tomato soup was cold and not impressive. I would have been more happy with the classic tomato soup from the grocery store in a can. I’ll be back here for drinks and bar games but definitely not the grilled cheese :)

Um, the fish tacos kind of suck. No crema, just an overly spicy pico & a side of sweet cole slaw(!) Note to other reviewers, fish tacos should have shredded cabbage & crema, which might look a little like cole slaw but is completely different, taste-wise. Everything else is pretty good though. Burgers are juicy and generously sized, fries are curly-style and nicely crispy. Cheap beer. Big oddly-shaped room on the side is good for a group to meet, with the board games and the couches that swallow you whole if you like to lounge. The game room in the back is pretty cool. Parking is only a little bit scary.

Man I really like this place… It has different levels of comfort here. A gaming area… 20 tickets for a free drink. A lounge area to sit and talk. Then the upfront bar area. Then the outdoors area… Also when its winter you can still smoke outdoors yet still enclosed. The girls behind the bar are professional and nice and aint taking no shit. Its clean and well kept. This is going to be a place Id go to when in the area for sure!

I don’t have a lot to say about this place. Friends and I stopped in during the Bull-e-Vard pub crawl. The guy behind the bar was dismissive and borderline rude. We asked what the specials were and he said, «Like, food?» He told us tacos. I asked what kind of tacos they were and he looked at me like I had three heads. «Steak and potatoes,» he said. My friend explained that two of us were vegetarians and that was why we were asking. He shrugged and told us they had some zucchini sticks on the menu. We looked at each other and we left for greener pastures. Not impressed. I gave them two stars simply because I’ve met one of their other employees and she seems quite nice, so there might be hope.

Man oh man, do I love this bar! Now, it’s not my typical go-to, but I’ve never just had an OK time here. Rhythm & Booze is has historically always been a blast. It’s probably my ideal spot in town to kick back, drink some cheap beer(or Purple Drank!) and play bar games. When you first walk in, you’re suddenly smack in the main«bar» area, where you’ll always find a friendly barkeep and usually see a few working class dudes catching a game. I typically start up my tab then immediately bee-line it for the far back room, or Bar Game Heaven. Two pool tables. Two dart boards. Pinball. Skee-ball. This room is stacked for a good time! Also, there are oodles of board games, if you want to go that route. The dart boards are electronic, which can sometimes be a problem, but these machines are in excellent repair, and they always have plenty of darts. It certainly makes for an easier game, when my PBR-riddled mind is free from the burden of math. What’s more, this room is never all that crowded. Sure, I’ve been here on nights where other groups are sharing the room, but everybody plays well with others. People tell me they have food, but I wouldn’t know. I come here for epic days of Bar Olympics with friends. And it’s always well worth the trip.
