I first stopped at the Sonic on Burlington and my husband and I asked for a mini cookie dough blast and banana split blast. The girl who took our order told us she didn’t really know how to make a banana split blast and that her manager would have to make it. We got our shakes and the banana split blast didn’t look right so my husband said he just wanted another type of blast also my cookie dough blast didn’t have any cookie dough in it. They weren’t very happy when we asked them to make us another type of blast since they didn’t know how to make a banana split one. We called the sonic on north oak after we left and explained the situation. We talked to Nick and he was so helpful! We offered to pay for a new blast and he said not to worry about it. He even had both blast remade and in bigger sizes. Nick and the other associates there are amazing!

The drive thru sucks during lunch. One of the male sonic emoyees gave me my drink right away while I was still waiting in the drive thru. 4 stars for him, minus 1 star for the line that I saw extending out on north oak.

For the 3rd visit this Summer our shakes have been mixed flavoured due to the machine not being cleaned. I called to inform them and was told that they rinse between shakes but maybe they didn’t because«they were so busy». It’s pretty gross to have your Orange cream slush taste of peanut butter(not to mention dangerous if allergic!). After speaking with the manager I have little confidence anything will change but one… I will gladly help them not to be so busy. We’re taking our business to Dairy Queen in Platte City. They are always busy and yet I’ve never gotten a peanut butter orange cream slush or a strawberry shake with bits of graham cracker and banana. FYI, if you have an allergy to peanuts you must tell them. You cannot rely on ordering non-peanut butter items to save you. The manager informed me that if they are told they will wipe the machine down before making your shake. Otherwise, there’s risk of cross contamination. Be safe and go somewhere else!

I recently moved to the area. I hated my old Sonic because my orders were always screwed up and slow as hell. I did not have a very fair opinion on Sonics because of that specific one in Independence. This Sonic is on top of their game. The few times I’ve been here, they’ve always gotten my order right the first time. Thanks for the friendly staff and accuracy!

Went to get my weekly Super Sonic cheeseburger and guy came back with the wrong price. I had to push the red button and a female came on I asked her about my order and got it corrected. When the food came out she said«Sorry bout that, our cook took your order. He was tryin’ to help us out». Got home and found that half the burger was covered in cooking oil or grease(I hope that what it was) and boy was it was soaked. I held up the burger and it was dripping wet. Cut that half off and tossed it and ate the rest. As par for the course at most Sonics I’ve been to, the fries were only half cooked, but i got a bonus as they were still a little warm. Don’t have a clue as to why Sonic has never been able to figure out how to cook fries. It actually mind-boggling to me.
