The Massage Point

Kirk responded quickly to my phone call, and I even got in the next day!
He was very responsive to my massage needs and took a lot of time to work out any knots and kinks in my back. He actually listened to what I wanted to have worked on and it really helped! He used some interesting techniques and honestly, it really worked!
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a massage!!!

Sometimes you want a massage. Maybe you want to hear Enya playing softly in the background, or maybe the trickle of a nice little waterfall. Maybe you want the air to smell of exotic flora. You want soothing, gentle touches, to whisk you away to a land or relaxation.
Other times, however, you NEED a effing massage, and to hell with all the spa extras. You want a practitioner who will get to the root of your problem and make it better. That’s what I found at The Massage Point. And it was perfect.
Having thrown out my back yet again (and this time with some added pinched nerve fun times added into the mix) I sought out a quality massage for maybe just an ounce of relief. I found Dr Kirk Williamson, read his bio on the Unilocal page, and determined he was the man for the job. Trained as a chiropractor, he’s dedicated to therapeutic massage, with an emphasis on «therapeutic». He was able to ask direct and pointed questions, suss out of me exactly what was my problem, and then spend 90 full minutes making it better. We kept an open line of communication throughout the massage so that he could adjust his technique based on my feedback. I’m not going to lie and say that I feel completely cured, but I definitely feel better, and no pun intended, like I was in capable hands.
If you’re looking for a spa experience, you might find his office to be a bit humble. But if you want results, this dude can deliver. He’s made of me a client for life.

I have now been to Kirk 3 times. He really excels at taking care of those painful knots that build up over time. I have been looking for someone to have for my go-​to massage needs and I have found it in Kirk. He has great hours and his space, conveniently located in Brookside, is tranquil and comfortable.

What a unique and effective technique! I had arrived in brookside to visit family for the holidays and brought with me super tense shoulders from an aggressive workout. I get bodywork /​massage regularly so I was looking for someone who could get to the problem versus just a relaxation massage. What a find! Kirk did a lot of work on my neck and back with me face up, allowing the muscles naturally to separate over his fingers he had slid under my back. It was so effective that my tension headache was gone by the next morning.

i was given a massage with kirk as a birthday gift. i just moved back from san francisco and have not found my massage therapist yet so i was open. kirk was beyond my expectations. his care and knowledge of the body was amazing. i felt so alive and relaxed after my session. its rare to find massage therapist with real solid foundation of anatomy and physiology but kirk is a trained chiropractor. i cannot imagine finding someone who matches his compassion and intuition with the expertise. give him a try you will come back for more.
