Normally love coming to this store. For the first time I didn’t bring my CVS card and the cashier couldn’t pull it up. She said if you don’t have your card, you won’t get your discount. I’ll just use my card. ??? I get my discount but not the points? How is that ok? There should be a way to give the customer their discount and they be able to get their points later.

Just Awful… I wish we had the old store back. Nowadays I go online and the Longs/​CVS website always states there are no ads. There used to be ads when we had the Longs Drugs beside Safeway. The selection in the new store is terribly lacking. I avoid the Kapaa store whenever possible.

Love this location since it’s close to where I was staying! The staff is very friendly & service was fast too. They have everything you’d want in a drugstore, plus lots of souvenirs at a super great price, plus souvenirs I didn’t see at the ABC Store or Whalers! They also have a pretty good selection of local types of foods you’d want to bring home as gifts, as well as a good coffee selection. Great prices on snacks, water, other beverages. I can’t remember if they had any fresh food, except packaged items in the refrigerator cases. They do have frozen foods though. From a drive thru pharmacy to snacks, this is a convenient and nice location.

A drugstore is a drugstore I guess. NOTHING is ever special about any of the large chain stores I’ve visited throughout my extensive travels, and this particular Longs Drugs is not exception.
Staff was pleasant, but EXCEPTIONALLY SLOW!!! Have I mentioned that I’m NOT a patient man by any stretch of the imagination, and I ALWAYS seem to pick the worst checkout line to occupy. Damn, I swear the big guy upstairs is trying to reform my lack of patience … I wish he would just stop. I’m going to go crazy or just move back to NYC were I’M the slow one.
Super convenient to the Courtyard by Marriott (walking distance). Great place to grab drinks, snack and those items you forgot or just noticed you needed.
Reasonably priced. Heck, even found some great gifts for CHEAP.
Clean, VERY organized and SPACIOUS compared to what we’re used to in Honolulu.

This Longs Drugs is a short walk from the hotels in this area. We came by looking for water, zip-​lock bags and paper towels, and found things to be reasonably priced. There was also a good variety of snacks for a dollar.
The store is a fairly good size, clean, and has wide aisles. The cashier greeted us on the way in and said mahalo after ringing us up. Such friendliness!

It’s in it’s new location by the Courtyard Marriott, which is nice to stop by on the way home.
It seems a lot bigger than when they were by Safeway. The aisles are shorter, and you can see the top product and pretty much reach it.
There seems like there’s more aisles than before. I don’t like that when you go down the middle, the right aisles you walk towards the right of the store. The left aisles you’d walk from the front to the back.
The cosmetic selection seems smaller but I could be wrong since I didn’t dwell over there for so long. I got a little lost, since everything is new. But there are signs down every aisle.
Overall, its a great looking store and the workers are nice and attentive if you have a question about anything.
