Rachel Dunham was beyond disrespectful, rude, and flat out unprofessional. A woman named Susan helped me while I was there and she was the only one who was polite and considerate, along with another male employee, I forget his name. Rachel rented a home to me that had visible mold. I was assured that the mold would be taken care of before we moved in; however, this was not addressed and I found many other problems once we took possession of the home. On moving day, I asked if the mold was taken care of. I was told that it was not mold, that it was a stain and they had«tried everything» to get it out without success. When I arrived at the house, I sprayed a simple bleach/water mixture on the green mold and it came right out. I informed the office of this and it took them two weeks to get someone out to install a vent and rework the grout that had black mold in it. During these two weeks, I developed breathing difficulties and a chronic cough, neither of which I had prior to moving in. I was diagnosed with bronchitis when I went to the doctor. At this point I left to stay with my mother. Every time I went back to the house, even briefly, the coughing worsened. Since Rachel refused to send out a professional to look at the mold, I hired one for $ 360, which I never got reimbursed for. The mold inspector found the mold pores in the air to be above average and action was recommended immediately. This is just a small recap of his findings: 1. Visible mold was observed below the kitchen sink. 2. Visible mold was observed on ceiling in master shower area. 3. The source of excess moisture feeding the mold in the kitchen was determined to be a leak from the disposal. 4. Moisture levels in cabinet material below the sink was 53%. 5. The return air plenum was dirty and contained debris. A dirty return air plenum has a direct effect on indoor air quality. 6. There is rust evidence of condensation holding into the secondary drain pan at the AC. This indicates a problem with removing condensation from the primary drain pan and the drain line on the evaporator coil 7. Evidence of both active and dead rats in the attic. Rat remains at top of attic stair entry and feces. These conditions can affect air quality within the home. Rachel refused to refund my refundable security deposit of $ 3,100(two months rent) and $ 700 pet deposit although I had only lived in the house for 2 months and the home was left in better condition than when I got it! She wouldn’t reimburse me for any costs relating to my health issues caused by the moldy house she rented me, or the professional mold inspection report. I had to pay over $ 300 to get a lawyer to help me get my security deposit back. Rachel only returned half, $ 1,550. At this point my lawyer advised me to cut my losses since it may cost me more to pay him to fight than what I could potentially receive back from her agency. I lost thousands in only 2 months of working with Rachel. Not only did she show zero sympathy for what she did, she was incredibly rude throughout the entire process. Even before I discovered the mold issue. A perfect example of this: The house didn’t come with garage door openers so my relator suggested mentioning a deal with the agency that sometimes they allow. I took his advice and went to Rachel directly. I asked her if I purchased garage door openers, within a budget of course, if there was a chance I could take the cost out of my rent. She literally laughed in my face and said, «No. That’s not how it works.» So rude. I would NEVER work with this agency again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Rachel Duham is extremely rude and inconsiderate. I came with a moving company to get an office desk I purchased from the building. There was a terrible rainstorm outside and I had parked up front so we could load right off the porch. She insisted that we used the back door to the building. The drive way was under about 6″ of water and we had to park 100′ or so from the door. The office had no customers and was not open at the time we were trying to move. Her reasoning was she was scared we would scratch her front door that was«thousands of dollars.» What a joke… The building has rotted out siding all around it and the front door is some resurfaced piece of junk.
