I said it once and I’ll say it again. There’s no way I’m ever changing dentists again. Dr. Mitcham is very polite and explains things very clearly and I can tell that she genuinely cares about her patients. The dental assistants are also top notch and are very courteous and professional. And wow, they have the greatest memories as they can recall little tiny details of my life that I might have shared with them 6 months earlier. The waiting area is clean and the whole establishment looks like a well run operation. Caveat: if you need to cancel and re-schedule, be sure to give them 2 days notice or you a pay an enormous cancellation fee.

I have to agree with one of the previous reviews. The receptionist(I don’t know if it’s the same one) is chilly, at best~ definitely *not* on the friendly side. I saw Dr. Jacobs and was pleasantly surprised; I was a little apprehensive because I think she’s newer, but she was very sweet and answered all of my questions. I needed a referral to a specialist, so I didn’t have any work done at that time. Receptionists can sometimes make or break an experience for you, and unfortunately, it’s not a great situation here. On the bright side, everyone else I encountered was friendly.

Professional, efficient, caring practice. These dentists and hygienists are the best. They also are considerate, friendly, and put you at ease. I have complete trust in them!

I’ve been coming here for four years and really enjoy Dr. Ivy. She’s the reason I’ve stayed… to wit: I have yet to ever see the same hygienist twice, and last visit the girl cleaning my teeth admitted to being a temp. Also, DONOT expect much sympathy if you have an emergency and need to reschedule. The receptionists(one in particular) are chilly at best, bordering on unpleasant if you need to reschedule. I know it’s a problem for any practice but I really didn’t appreciate getting talked to like a sixth-grader when I legitimately needed to move an appointment a day ahead of time. I didn’t do it lightly and the receptionist was frankly snotty. New: 8⁄2014: I’ve dropped my rating one star… My husband was so turned off by the same receptionist recently after he needed an appointment to get something fixed that he’s actually switched dentists and now uses a practice in the city near where he works. I understand the front desk obviously doesn’t provide the dental care(which is EXCELLENT here), but they are the staff we encounter first and last, and rude/cold/blunt staff at any business do lose customers no matter how great the principals are.

I have been going to D.D.S. Julie Long for years now and love her. Her and her staff always have great service and care about each customer. Every time I go in they ask how my family is and what’s been going on with my life. She is great at remembering little details I mention during my visits. Thier office is very professional looking and most importantly, very clean!
