For me, this place and the people who run it are extraordinary. July 31, 2015 was our wedding date. This is a second marriage for both of us and with 6 kids between us, we were looking to keep things low key. Although we had rented tuxedos for the three boys and my husband at Hollywood, I purchased my dress someplace else, I had seen something simple and bought it rather impulsively. What a mistake. A week before the wedding, I picked the dress up from final alterations and didn’t try it on again until the afternoon of our rehearsal dinner. the day before our wedding. My daughter walked in on me and asked, «What’s the matter with the back of your dress?» It was riding way up awkwardly, not sitting flat against my back. It looked completely wrong. I called the shop where I had bought the dress, but they were closed. I placed a call to Hollywood assuming it was a long shot, since I had not purchased my dress there. The woman on the phone could not have been kinder. She told me to come right over(This at 5:40 on a Thursday night) and immediately she and the other woman there calmed me down and got to work, showing me how they could correct the issue with the dress. It was incredible. While treating me with a kindness that is impossible to describe.(I felt like a family member) they confirmed that they would have it done for me by noon the next day. I was so touched, I could barely stop crying. When I thanked them, they merely said, «.Just buy us a cup of coffee one of these days…“That type of old fashioned customer care is so rare, almost impossible to find… They not only made a 49 year old bride feel beautiful on my wedding day, but they have earned my unending loyalty. As far as any future proms, events,(hopefully sometime in the future-6 weddings.) all of these, my business will go to Hollywood Tuxedos. They were not only business people but truly cared. It was a gift and I will never forget it.
