One of my least favorite Mexican restaurants. It is along the lines of quality found at other places like Azteca. If you are looking for a better tasting meal with less gobs of cheese and grease go elsewhere.

The new location is very nice. Good food, great margarita. Get the daily special margarita to save a couple bucks, good service too.

Attentive service but bad food. I always ALWAYS take home my leftovers — but here, I didn’t bother. I ordered the Mazatlan fish burrito — the fish had an odd metallic taste. My boyfriend had a chicken plate that he couldn’t finish either (due to taste, not hunger level). The beans that came on the side of his dish were rather thin. The only good thing was the chips, which were excellent.

Not the fanciest place, but tremendously good food, especially the carne asada and the chicken fajitas. I lived near San Antonio for many years, so I have a pretty decent idea about what constitutes good Mexican food. Don’t miss the Jumbo (fishbowl) margaritas; only about $ 12 (there’s like 4 margaritas in those things!).

A group of friends went here after bowling at Kenmore lanes next door. We were in the bar area, some had too much to drink at this point and I just remember drinks being served constantly and all these platters of great mexican food coming out. The carne asada was awesome, many places have chewy tough meat, this stuff went down great. The server was very nice and was patient with the rowdy crowd. A nice place to go for dinner if you are in the area or after you bowl a few games at Kenmore lanes.

This has been a family favorite since I was a kid.
It’s consisently decent food, good service at reasonable prices.
Recently traveled back and took all the kids and my Dad out for dinner.
Perhaps just to point out how *far too white* my family sometimes can be, all 4 of my kids ordered… steak. *sigh*
I had the vegetarian fajita, they were fabulously yummy.
It’s a place I’ll always recommend.
