Mr Wok Chinese Restaurant

I walked in and was hit with a disgusting smell, but that’s just Chinese food in general. Still I proceeded to order. They were nice for the most part and my order was the broccoli and shrimp. Worst I’ve ever had. Mid way through eating it I ended up tossing it out. I started to feel sick from the smell and taste

Nice little strip mall joint that will surprise you. It looks from the outside as a nondescript to-​go place. If you choose to dine in, however, you will get your food on real plates & real fresh. They have counter service, yet, they bring your order to the table. They also offer delivery service.
They have all the standard dishes you would expect, and the prices are very reasonable.
The next time you need a quick bite of Chinese in the Sublett area, give them a try.

I ordered the beef fried rice with extra beef (extra beef was 2). It was so good. The rice has chopped onions white and green so I was in heaven.
The egg rolls were nice anf hot.
My son had the chicken lo mein. It was kind dry looking.
They onky gave two packages of soy sauce. So, I was kinda pissed.

I’ve popped in here for a quick lunch a few times because I work just down the road. It’s right beside of the Subway and behind Burger King and Chicken Express. I always get the same thing and ever Chinese restaurant, Cashew Chicken. It’s sort of my way to get an even baseline. The cashew chicken at Mr. Wok is a bit unusual because they put in garden peas. I’m not sure I’ve ever had it with that. Anyway, the service is good, the food is good– not amazing, but good. The lunch prices are $ 6-​$ 7. Mr. Wok seems to be a better lunch or take out place because it’s small, simple and more «café» style. I recommend it for lunch but would probably have dinner somewhere else.

This place is pretty good. Love that they have free delivery. Been going here for a while now. I always get the house special fried rice and share it with my boyfriend.

Delish. Hole in the wall décor, but the food’s good and quick. Not the cheapest, but at least it tastes good.

This place is really nice for a small local Chinese restaurant. It was a little bit bland, but not a big deal. The chicken sort of had a smell to it, but it was not bad. I would come back here again if I just wanted some quick Chinese food. They also gave very large portions which was a plus.
This was the usual priciness of a Chinese restaurant, about a $ 7 – 15 range.

Orange Chicken for $ 9.25. Fried rice is bit over cooked, and the chicken dish had a gamey flavor; I couldn’t finish it. :-(

I enjoy periodically eating here for lunch. It’s a family-​owned business with good good. Prices are reasonable.

I was not impressed with the good. It didn’t taste like the normal Chinese food and it was the same prices as other prices but didn’t taste very good at all.

The food isn’t amazing, but its good for the price.

I ordered the Happy Family with shrimp (2), beef and chicken. Was a little disappointed about the lack of shrimp, but the chicken and beef portions were sufficient. The brown sauce is mild.
Also had the Sesame Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken — both were worth getting again.
The egg rolls and fried won tons were good. The Pu Pu Tray allowed us to try more of their menu. I did not like the Crab Rangoon nor the chicken wing, but I’m only one person’s opinion.
The food was not spicy is was just kind of bland, but for the price it was well worth it. The delivery driver was very nice and the girl who took my order on the phone was very nice.
Overall, the experience was good for the price!

Pretty decent food.

Great food and great service! I LOVE it! It doesn’t get too experimental with their food. They keep it pretty simple which is something I really like. If you want a bunch of spices then you’ll just have to ask. I really enjoy their food, though. Nice little take-​out place. (could use more veggies in their fried rice, though)
