Dr Saraf performed a root canal on my lower rear molar, then reinstalled the crown with temporary cement. While the original root canal procedure went ok, he reinstalled the temporary crown wrong, so it was protruding so that hit first and foremost which threw my bite way off. When I went in for the correction, he wanted to grind my brand new crown down so that it wouldn’t hit. The thing is it did not hit before the initial procedure, which I explained. My guess is that he was trying to avoid spending any money. Anyway he had to use Novocaine so that the crown could be removed and reinstalled, which fixed the problem. During the visit he seemed aggravated and was rather rough, even causing me pain in the process. So as long as he is being paid everything is fine, but if there are any issues (even when it’s clearly his own doing) he is very poor.

The nicest and most efficient dentist office I’ve ever been to. My 8 yr old son broke of his two front teeth. Yes two! He saw my son after being referred from his pediatric dentist. Appointment was given the same day. In addition to that he stayed late to perform the root canals on both of his teeth. Didn’t leave his office until 7:30.

I have always heard that root canals are terrible, but with Dr. Saraf, my procedure was probably one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Saraf is a man of few words, but he is personable, knowledgeable, honest, and compassionate. I experienced absolutely no pain during the procedure. My only discomfort was the perfectly placed novocaine shots. His nurse was incredibly attentive, explaining to me what he was doing at different intervals and asking me if I was ok. Dr. Saraf seems to be extremely compassionate. He asked if I felt any pain several times during the procedure. My face did not feel numb, only the area in which he was working. After the numbing wore off, I was only a little bit sore. I did take a few motrin the next day to keep the soreness at bay, but it was really my own fear that I would be in pain that I even did that. I went back the next day for a checkup and everything was fine.
Root canals have a bad rap, but with Dr. Saraf, there is absolutely nothing to fear. He is kind and he knows what he is doing. His staff is awesome and they genuinely care. He accepts most major dental insurance. Getting an appointment is easy and fast. Getting called back for my appointment once I arrived was also a speedy process. It helped that I had already downloaded the required forms and filled them out before I arrived. I cannot recommend Dr. Saraf more highly and I am picky when it comes to customer service.

I have been to Doctor Saraf several times for root canals and would not ever consider going to anyone else! He is pleasant, professional, calm and honest. Root canal procedures can be frightening but with him; they’ve been pain free. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment as busy as he is; he is always willing to «fit me in». He is conveniently located just off of 41 in Kennesaw.

I wouldn’t wish a root canal on my worst enemy, but if you find yourself in need of one, Dr. Saraf is a great endodontist. Perfectly placed novocaine shots meant that the tooth was numbed, but my lip didn’t feel fat for hours afterwards. An astonishingly fast 20 minute procedure and I was done. Absolutely no pain during the procedure and only slight discomfort after the novocaine wore off (which stopped when I took the prescribed Vicodin). Overall, a really good experience from a really bad situation.
